Hey everyone!

Who else is trying for a baby?

How you been finding it?

I stopped the pill in October, I know it takes time but really wanting a positive soon! Just need to be super patient 🤭🙂🙂🙂

@belle1118 hmmmm! How long are your cycles normally? I’ve been on some other threads where some women get BFPs as early as 7dpo and some don’t get it until around 21-25 dpo, so perhaps it’s a slow rise in HCG? Either way, fx for you!

I’ve been taking an ov test everyday this week and it’s getting darker! So exciting to see SOME sort of line getting stronger, even if it isn’t a pg test 😂 so helpful as my cycle has been out of whack since coming off the pill

belle1118 · 08/01/2020 17:16

@francis05 exactly, so frustrating isn't it! I'm doing exactly the same haha, within a day I go from letting myself be like yaaaay I might be pregnant to nope, no way, don't be silly, being paranoid about symptoms, chill out...! Cycling back and forth constantly and feel exactly the same about testing... might wait a week maybe?

Nope no birth control - I never got on with it so I've been off it for years, and AF has been regular as clockwork for a long time, so shouldn't be any funny business like that. The only other thing I can think of is stress, but I don't know if it's been any worse lately than it has in the past!

@Twinkletoes85 @Newbie0818 definitely nice to chat to other people going through the same thing, feel like it all feels a bit crazy otherwise but its hard to talk about with friends who aren't in the same boat!

Twinkletoes85 · 08/01/2020 16:58

@Newbie0818 it is really nice to see you’re not just going a bit mad and other people are feeling what you feel.

It’s also so nice to know that it’s normal to be feeling so odd!

francis05 · 08/01/2020 16:51

@belle118 did you come off any birth control in Dec? It's so confusing as pms & pregnancy symptoms are all so similar. One minute I convince myself im pregnant then change my mind as too scared to a test and see another negative xx

belle1118 · 08/01/2020 16:22

@francis05 thank you! I do have some yeah, but then they're so similar to my normal period (mostly cramps and bloating) it's hard to tell if its wishful thinking or real. I don't have sore boobs... they do feel a bit heavier but again I'm not sure if I'm just overthinking everything!!

francis05 · 08/01/2020 16:14

Fingers crossed @belle118 hope you get your positive soon! Have you had many symptoms? Xx

belle1118 · 08/01/2020 15:56

Hiiiii joining this thread - trying for our first now! So exciting :)

We tried for the first time in December just after getting married, and AF was due 3rd Jan but no sign yet. Only had BFNs so far though, so not sure if it's stress or HCG levels being too low!

francis05 · 08/01/2020 15:42

@Rmusic12 I had heartburn & sore nipples around 30th Dec for a few days, not sure what it means but was definitely unusual for me, just had a quick look online and heartburn is quite common during ovulation... Could you have been ovulating?

Had some spotting yesterday morning and twinges/camps the last couple of days...dare I think it could be implantation symptoms? Xx

RMusic12 · 08/01/2020 15:30

Right ladies!

Sorry if this is tmi!

At the weekend during my
Fertile window I was spotting.

Today I have had heartburn, which I never get and my boobs feel funny! Tingly, sore, itchy.

And yesterday all I did was cry!

I am so tired too !

Surely this has got to be some sort of sign??? X

@RMusic12 @Newbie0818 BBT is basal body temperature, a method for detecting ovulation and also detecting pregnancy early

@Maisie17 I'm with you on the pressure of daily DTD! I'm CD8 of cycle 2 and this month we're going for every second day throughout the whole month (although might give it a rest towards the end once I know ovulation is 100% over). Last month we DTD every day for a week and tbh it was no fun at all and DH said he really felt under pressure which wasn't helping things if you get what I mean 😆 This month I'm hoping every second day will be a bit more sustainable and enjoyable!

Newbie0818 · 08/01/2020 15:12

Hi @Charlottethevet ☺️ Welcome and good luck!

And @Twinkletoes85 I know what you mean. I can’t really talk to anyone about it and my hubby wants to be all surprised rather than tracking it all obsessively like me haha. This group is such a nice space to share everything

Twinkletoes85 · 08/01/2020 13:31

Me! Came off the depo on 6th November so I’m not expecting this to be a quick process.

It’s really lonely as my body has been totally haywire but other than my boyfriend I can’t really tell about it to anyone as don’t want to give away that we’re trying.

My friend came off the pill two months before me and fell on her first cycle. She’s been good to talk to but she doesn’t really get it either.

No period yet but nausea, cramping, sore boobs, weird tightness in my stomach. I’ll go mad if it’s like this for months!!

Charlottethevet · 08/01/2020 13:26

Hi!
My Husband and I got married in September last year. Stopped the pill in October, on 3rd cycle of TTC right now :)
Taking folic acid and vit D.
AF due today - no sign of her yet, but sore boobs, cramps and aches.
5 days ago I had VERY light spotting... so keeping my fingers crossed this might be the month for a BFP.... i have taken a test a day for the last 3 days and nothing yet :( so maybe I'm just being too optimistic!

Newbie0818 · 08/01/2020 13:24

Hi @RMusic12

Hi all,

Stopped taking cerelle 4 weeks ago and still no period or even spotting. Anyone else had the same? Should I be concerned?

Thank you

Tk25 · 08/01/2020 10:29

I've been trying for 3 months now (taking previtamins and tracking ovulation) but not luck so far. I find that each month a negative test is becoming harder to cope with. Anyone else feel the same?

RMusic12 · 08/01/2020 08:21

Sorry to sound dolly...

What does the following mean?

DH, AF, DTD, BBT, TTC, TWW

Just got my AF today so CD1 for me now! DH is going to be loving the next few weeks haha

KADAQ1 · 07/01/2020 21:25

Me!

Maisie17 · 07/01/2020 18:49

Using Ovia and have just started to use Flo. A tip I found really useful was ordering Pre-Seed lubricant (sperm friendly).... finding it seriously hard to get excited about things at 11pm on a Tuesday night in Jan when you're both knackered, up at 6am the following morn and have DTD every day for a week! Oh the romance!

Anyone else have useful tips?

Newbie0818 · 07/01/2020 18:39

First time here 😁

Stopped the pill in August and didn’t have a natural af until Nov. First cycle of trying in Dec but I didn’t realise my cycle was 32 days long so was out by a week. Now officially in the “fertile window” (CD 11), using the Flo app and taking an ovulation test everyday (serious business lol). Fx for everyone on here! So nice to talk to others about it all ☺️

BabyKnighty1 · 07/01/2020 18:38

My husband and I got married late Nov and I’ve been off the mini pill since the beginning of last year. Using contraceptives until now. We have DTD a couple of times with no protection in December and I’m a day late on my period today but BFN! We will actively try once I get my AF in Jan! So excited

RMusic12 · 07/01/2020 18:28

As for loneliness... omg it's horrible!

I don't have anyone because we want it to be a surprise when it happens so don't really have anyone I can turn to. So this app is brilliant tho still learning how to work it! Lol

Xx
