@RMusic12 no idea about another app for chatting like this, it is hard to keep up! Nice to have lots of others in the same position though ☺️

xoJellyBean · 09/01/2020 18:41

@Thistle23 I've been off the pill for ages too. I'm on cycle day 43 right now and nothing!! So frustrated

Thistle23 · 09/01/2020 17:39

Going into 6month pill free and not a thing happening , well minus AF.

A bit fed up ,I just feel bad for my DH as he was waiting for ages for me to be ready .

georgiexo · 09/01/2020 17:34

@TangBloodyFastic meant to say sperm not sorry! Also the cheap tests results are lines, the clearblue digital does a circle for negative smiley face flashing for high fertility and sold smiley face for peak fertility

georgiexo · 09/01/2020 17:33

Thank you @Twinkletoes85!

Good luck @beaniesunrise I’m told first response tests can pick up 6 days before missed period although it’s less accurate so do one again the week after maybe?

@TangBloodyFastic If you don’t know by your CM then definitely need ovulation tests. The cheap ones on eBay or amazon work well (what docs use) and I can recommend the clearblue digital ovulation tests. You just dip them and wait for reading 1 line means not ovulating 2 lines mean you are. Do them around the time you get CM if not every day and keep track of results.

Fertile window is around 6 days as sorry can stay in system for 5 days. The clearblue ov tests says day before and day of ovulation are highest chances.

Good luck and try to keep it fun and not like a job as it just puts stress on everyone :(

TangBloodyFastic · 09/01/2020 12:39

Hi all,
We are first timers TTC. Never followed my cycle, tbh never paid it any attention whatsoever Blush I'm tried googling and I think I understand but can anyone just confirm when is the best time to DTD in my cycle.
Since I have been following my cycle I have since realised I have quite an obvious cycle (I hope)
DryCM- AF- EWCM- (very) wateryCM - DryCM- AF and so on

Am I most fertile at the EWCM or the watery feel like I've peed my pants stage? Should we be DTD as soon as EW starts or straight after AF?

Confused

Next purchase OPK which will prob confuse me even more Grin

beaniesunrise · 09/01/2020 12:19

Hey Smile I stopped the pill in November, on 2nd cycle of TTC baby #1
Taking folic acid and vits.
AF due next Thurs and thinking to test on the weekend.
Currently on 8dpo and feeling mild cramping so hoping for the best!

FX everyone

Twinkletoes85 · 09/01/2020 09:04

@georgiexo I hope you do get your BFP! You’re right, there is lots of help available to help people out.

A girl I work with had ivf etc etc for a couple of years and had thought the last lot they were going for hadn’t worked. Her baby was born just before Christmas nice and healthy :)

It’s just such an unpredictable thing really which can be very hard. Xx

georgiexo · 08/01/2020 21:57

Have come to join!

Been on contraception for 10 years, had implant out Feb 19 and have only just ovulated naturally for the first time. Was put on provera to induce periods by doctor. First time worked, second time didn't and just when I was gearing up to go again I had some CF so started to do OPK's and got positive results. DTD the day before and three days before ovulation. I know I would be incredibly lucky to fall pregnant on the first real try but currently on a TWW to do a test. I have first response and the cheapy amazon tests ready and waiting (amazon ones have been recommended most!). Now every niggle in my stomach I think is a pregnancy 😫 going to be disappointed if it's a BFN but also don't think it could be a BFP :(. Agree with previous chats about how easy it seems to other people to fall pregnant, life is a funny thing.

I wish you all the best of luck, don't lose hope, there is lots of help out there! X

Hi everyone! So nice to have a thread with alot of people recently off the pill... i stopped cerezzete end of October, had a withdrawal bleed 4 weeks later, and about 12 days later had a period.. i then ended up having a chemical pregnancy 😓 so trying again... currently CD 31, no sign of AF yet

RMusic12 · 08/01/2020 21:49

I'm glad I started this thread through I was the only person feeling the way I was!

It's hard to keep up on this, is there a better app to use where we can all support each other?

If not I'm fine with this 😊😊😊

Hopefully it all happens for us soon enough!

I actually had a crazy vivid dream I was pregnant last night with a baby girl! Was so real ☹️🥰

@Nat4392 I know how you feel, when I was trying with my ex my cousin got pregnant. I went home and cried when I found out. It wasn’t that I wasn’t pleased for her but it is hard!

@xoJellyBean I know! Some people seem to just sneeze and get pregnant. I work with two girls who have been through a really hard time, ivf, losses etc and they have healthy babies now. It’s thinking of them that will keep me going, it is possible even when you think it’s not! My friend knows as she told me she was and my mum sort of knows but not that I want to talk to her about it. Does anyone else know you are?

kt2020 · 08/01/2020 20:29

@LJZRBB thank you, I’m trying to be more patient.
I had symptoms two weeks ago, which seem to be in line with ovulation so took a test today just incase and was negative so I’m hoping AF comes instead. At the moment I’m just In limbo. Confused

LJZRBB · 08/01/2020 20:18

@kt2020 took me 5-6 weeks to get my period again after coming off Cerelle.

hi everyone, we are on cycle 2. Turns out you can have lots of sex and not get pregnant Hmm

Johnnybegood2 · 08/01/2020 20:03

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind if I join the thread. Not many people I can talk to in RL.
I came off the pill in August 2018, started TTC November of 2018. Had a 4 month break from trying in 2019, so I could move to a new, much less stressful, job. Started trying again October 2019.

My cycles vary from 28 to 36 days.

After more than a year of trying the cycle of excitement and crushing disappointment each month is getting hard to deal with tbh

xoJellyBean · 08/01/2020 19:49

@Twinkletoes85 everyone else seems to get pregnant so easily! I am starting to panic a little to be honest. Just want my own little bundle lol even though my period should've been here by now I don't wanna do a test cause I know it'll just be negative! Does anyone else know you're trying?

Nat4392 · 08/01/2020 19:40

Yea it’s a difficult emotion. I’m so truly thrilled for her but I was just distraught when I came on the week after. She was just one of the lucky ones I guess. It’s still early says TTC wise for me, so I know I shouldn’t worry too much

Twinkletoes85 · 08/01/2020 19:37

Hi @Morgane777 good luck to you too!! I’m 34 and it’s our first time trying

@Nat4392 my friend came off the pill late last year and fell on about a month after, it is a bit disheartening seeing someone else got pregnant isn’t it. Even if you’re happy for them!

ablisha · 08/01/2020 19:35

Hey guys, I'm new to this app and trying! Started this month and we aren't telling anyone so this chat sounds just what I need! Am due on 21st Jan so we will see!

Twinkletoes85 · 08/01/2020 19:33

@xoJellyBean it’s so hard to tell what’s a sign and what’s just your period isn’t it?

We’ve only been trying since November and my boyfriend put his back out two weeks after we started trying (unrelated haha) so really it’s only been a month. I was on the depo too so expecting a long wait to fall on :(

I came off the pill a few years ago with my ex but we split up before a baby so I remember all the confusion from then!

xoJellyBean · 08/01/2020 19:26

@Twinkletoes85 thank you! I have been off the pill since October 18 but didn't really start trying until about 6 months ago - we've been terrible at it lol! My period is around 7 days late right now but I do have cramps. How about you?!

Nat4392 · 08/01/2020 19:12

Hi new here! Hope you don’t mind me joining in the thread 😊
I’m 27 and husband is 29, been together 9 years, we got married in October 2019 and have been TTC since. I never thought TTC would take over my life as much as it has, it’s literally all I think about every waking moment!
Currently 7DPO, my cycles haven’t been completely regular after coming off the pill in September so AF is due at some point next week. My best friend started TTC last month and caught straight away which kind of stressed me out even more.
I’ve been a serial symptom spotter although every month I tell myself not to be, it’s just so difficult!
Anyway, yesterday and today I’ve had noticeable cramps and I’m hoping this could be due to implantation. I don’t want to get ahead of myself but fingers crossed. Will try and wait til at least Sunday before testing!

Morgane777 · 08/01/2020 19:08

Hello Ladies!
I want to join!
I stopped the pill in August and have been TTC "officially" since September. I'm 38 and this is the first time we've been trying to get pregnant!
Hope to read some good stories here! Good luck to us! Smile

Twinkletoes85 · 08/01/2020 19:05

Hi @xoJellyBean join the party haha. How long have you been trying?

How are you doing?

xoJellyBean · 08/01/2020 18:58

Heyyy may I join you guys?! 😁 quietly going insane lol
