Hey everyone!

Who else is trying for a baby?

How you been finding it?

I stopped the pill in October, I know it takes time but really wanting a positive soon! Just need to be super patient 🤭🙂🙂🙂

This month is my 14th month ttc and it’s getting really hard now. Praying for a positive this month Smile

RMusic12 · 12/01/2020 18:55

How early can we test? Lol my period is 'due' a week tomorrow 🤔🤔🤔😊😊

Hi everyone!
@tequilasunrises lol pretty similar here! Quietly starting to think about nursery ideas and furniture, names etc... I'm much less chilled than I'd expected!

@Newbie0818 thank you! It's reassuring to know it can take a while for things to get back to normal, a lot of the information seems to say as soon 2-4 weeks but up to a year doesn't it, just hope I'm not the latter! Kind wishing I came off the pill earlier...

I have the clue app to keep track of things, but not tracking in terms of ovulation strips or temperature etc yet. Do you think I could use ovulation strips now, or should I wait until after a proper (natural) period and maybe try after that?

Newbie0818 · 12/01/2020 14:28

Hey @Ariel12345 welcome. I came off the pill in August and didn’t get my first natural period until the end of November, so I know how you feel! Just took my body ages to start naturally ovulating again. But it’s torture when you don’t know if it’s going to be regular or not. I’ve found the flo app and ovulation strips really helpful to give me an idea about how my body works x

Hi ladies, jumping on this thread as well Smile

I’m 26, almost 27 and I’m on CD3, hoping to conceive our first. I told myself (and my DH) that I was going to be completely chilled, that I don’t mind if it doesn’t happen immediately etc but I’m totally lying - I’m already plotting baby names and nursery colours. Clearly I’m a loon!

Lots of luck to all on this thread Smile

Hi everyone, can I join? I've been reading posts for a little while, but this is one of my first times posting!
TTC first, cycle 1
Came off microgynon in December and awaiting AF or positive test.... cycle day 34
I know it's very, VERY early, but would appreciate some support as I'm feeling a bit fed up and lost!
Also, always pee afterwards 😂

xoJellyBean · 11/01/2020 21:12

I always pee afterwards... I didn't once and got a UTI! So will never miss it again 😂

RMusic12 · 11/01/2020 14:59

Also this morning my nipples have been so itchy!!!!

Never in my life have I experienced this.

Like all my other posts I'm probably looking into it too much lol but really?

Thanks @bluemoon2468 and @twinkletoes85 that’s what I’ve been doing, lying down for around 15 mins (sometimes upside down haha) then going. It’s gross otherwise but I just wanted to make sure.

Yay @francis05 fingers crossed!

bluemoon2468 · 10/01/2020 23:08

@Newbie0818 I lie down for at least 20 mins then get up to pee (to avoid UTI)

Twinkletoes85 · 10/01/2020 22:36

@francis05 fingers crossed for you! Exciting!

Twinkletoes85 · 10/01/2020 22:35

@Newbie0818 I don’t think it makes a difference with regards to conception but it is recommended to pee to help to not get a uti!

francis05 · 10/01/2020 22:20

I think I got my first BFP tonight on an internet cheapie, struggling to upload a picture but it was definitely a line within the time frame & has got darker since, just ordered a cb digital to take in a few days. Eeeekkkk

Newbie0818 · 10/01/2020 22:03

So here’s a weird one for you ladies...

After DTD... to pee, or not to pee? That is the question. (Can you tell I’m an English teacher :P).

But seriously, does it make a difference?

Nat4392 · 10/01/2020 19:04

Well I’m now 9DPO and had really sore boobs today. They don't normally change or get sore before AF so I’m tentatively getting hopeful. Going to wait til at least Sunday to to do a FRER. AF has been different every month since coming off the pill so going off my shortest cycle (25 days) AF is due to arrive Wednesday. Hopefully she doesn’t show up 🤞🏻

Twinkletoes85 · 10/01/2020 15:02

I had my smear on Wednesday so they had to test before as apparently they can’t do it if you’re pregnant. Negative Sad

However the last month/6 weeks I’ve been getting various types of discharge (sorry) which seems to be changing as it should through the month (I had none at all when on the depo). No AF yet but I’m hoping this means my body is successfully trying to get itself back into a cycle again

francis05 · 10/01/2020 13:29

Im going to try and hold out testing until at least Monday, have some cheapy tests coming tomorrow but not buying a frer or cb for the time being x

ablisha · 10/01/2020 13:14

I said on another thread, I've never really paid attention to my twinges or cramps so now I'm overthinking every one without really know what my norm is

RMusic12 · 10/01/2020 13:12

@francis05 I'm the same! Trying not to overthink it, way too early to test. Prob nothing ☹️

OP posts:
francis05 · 10/01/2020 13:06

@rmusic12 me too!! Nothing overly uncomfortable or painful but they are definitely there, been really cranky the last couple of days too... Could be reading into things though?
Has anyone else had really yellow wee (sorry) read that it could be pregnancy related or maybe the extra vitamins x

RMusic12 · 10/01/2020 12:41

Ahhhhh
I am 5dpo, today I have had a stomach ache and keep getting twinges below... what on earth?

OP posts:
Thistle23 · 09/01/2020 18:50

Thistle23 · 09/01/2020 18:50
