ceebee21 · 27/01/2020 08:55

@Jonesbabynumber1 sorry about the BFN, but fingers crossed for a BFP!!

I am CD4 now, and going to see the consultant tomorrow, so will see what happens!

x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/01/2020 21:04

Thanks @dizzy85 @TigerJoy hope your TWW goes quickly. I’m still in the maybe I’ll be the person who gets a late BFP but don’t we all hope for that. AF due Thursday. Crazy how we are all in different parts of the cycle now. When at one point a lot of us were at the same point just shows how different our cycles can be. I’m pretty sure I’m ovulating temping and opk both show it and I think my luteral phase is normal I’ve been pretty relaxed this month. I know GP won’t do anything until 12 months does anyone know how much testing in is roughly privately I think that would help me relax so much more

I am on d16 so likely to be 4dpo knowing my cycle. Almost impossible that its pregnancy symptoms.

Hopefully you'll get pregnant soon and won't have any adverse effects 🤞🤞🤞

dizzy85 · 26/01/2020 11:16

@TigerJoy I think some people can get more flare ups in pregnancy from what I've read but then everyone is different I guess, I def don't wanna wait that long I know that much, I am looking into diet changes and hopefully it helps. Hopefully the puffy feeling is a good sign how many DPO are you?

@Jonesbabynumber1 sorry for the bfn there's still time yet 🤞🏻

TigerJoy · 26/01/2020 11:15

The fertility doc I saw said don't let it run your life. Make plans for ttc (and in that specific case ivf) around the other things you want to do. I think it puts too much pressure on.

I'm sorry it's not worked out the way you thought it would, I'm the same. Thought I'd just get pregnant immediately as everyone else in my family is insanely fertile and almost all babies were whoopsies!

What are your plans for your 30th?

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/01/2020 10:37

@TigerJoy positive about the boobs we need some bfp again keep us all hopeful x

OP posts:
Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/01/2020 10:37

@TigerJoy it is rubbish I’m trying to keep positive but it is hard. I always said if it hasn’t happened by February which will be 6 months Of TTC we’ll have a 2 month break so we can book holiday for my 30th, but think always in my mind it wasn’t going to get to that but now there’s a high chance it make me feel sad.

OP posts:
TigerJoy · 26/01/2020 09:46

I know. It sucks though.

I'm feeling really weird - boobs are really swollen and sore but I also have bad endo pain. Trying not to get my hopes up. It's pants being a woman sometimes!

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/01/2020 09:43

@TigerJoy I know I had a good feeling about this month but what will be will be.

TigerJoy · 26/01/2020 09:34

Oh boo @Jonesbabynumber1

Still, fingers crossed until then...

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/01/2020 09:00

Well BFN on a frer this morning 11dpo I have no frer left so I’m going to try and hold out for af which is due on Thursday

TigerJoy · 25/01/2020 19:28

I think I wouldn't hang about if I were you. Would pregnancy make it any worse? Could you manage it with diet until surgery becomes available / you have sprogged?

I'm ok. Feel really puffy. Boobs really sore, feel puffy all over - arms, fingers, cheeks.

dizzy85 · 25/01/2020 13:00

@TigerJoy they've said in the past to remove my gallbladder if I get more attacks but it's been so on and off and few and far between that I've just been seeing how it goes, so possibly they'd just say the same. Just don't know if I should continue just incase but I think the waiting list is about 6 months for surgery and I really don't wanna wait that long. How are you getting on?

TigerJoy · 25/01/2020 07:46

Gosh @dizzy85 that is tough. What's the treatment for gallstones? Do you think they might offer an operation? Can you live with it for now if you do get pregnant?

dizzy85 · 24/01/2020 14:39

Afternoon ladies, hope your all doing good, sorry about af @ceebee21
I've been in a bit of a predicament lately, I have a gallstone and I've been getting pains on and off and not sure what I should do whether I should put trying on hold until I've seen the doctors but it's not until the 6th and I should be ovulating soon so it's quite a stressful decision to make as you know how slow things take at drs and I don't wanna waste time missing each month, so yer still don't know what to do for the best really. 🤷‍♀️

TigerJoy · 24/01/2020 12:53

@Jonesbabynumber1 I find the whole booze thing really hard. I gave up completely for 6 months, then started again on a really bad period (periods seem like a safe time! And booze is a good painkiller).

There are a few times I'd really like a few drinks and I do wonder how much it can really hurt if its before you've missed your period. I'm taking a long flight next month and not sure how I'll manage without a few g&ts!

Jonesbabynumber1 · 24/01/2020 10:59

@ceebee21 yes I agree sometimes you need to take your actions and sometimes that can prompt the NHS to do more. Unfortunately usually those who demand the loudest get the best support. They don’t count the emotional strain which is the hardest thing.

@tigerjoy I’m the same all or nothing. Like you said as long as your doing the deed nothing else we can do. I’ve noticed my husband asking more about it so think he’s surprised it hasn’t happened, but luckily if anything it’s made us stronger.

I’m 9dpo so will test with frer either tomorrow or Sunday. I’m on a hen tomorrow and feel torn as to whether to do one as I know if it’s negative it will be a free for all on alcohol where if I don’t test I may be a bit more sensible I hope.

TigerJoy · 24/01/2020 09:06

Thanks @Jonesbabynumber1. I veer between being completely obsessed and not wanting to think about it at all. Spent a lot of time the last few weeks crying. It was much easier over Christmas when I just told myself we were having a month off and i let myself have a few drinks! It's so hard to get that balance between not letting it be the focus of your life and also giving yourself the best chance

I've found it much better since I've stopped temping and opking as well. Like you said the most important thing is dtd and if you're doing that enough there's no need

ceebee21 · 24/01/2020 08:07

@Jonesbabynumber1 thank you, yeah me too. Unfortunately as much as I love the NHS and think its great, I dont think they are great at this sort of thing, I am having to pay myself as they wont refer me to and endocrinologist, or to any fertility specialist until 3 miscarriages, and in their eyes my thyroid is being treated correctly! Xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 24/01/2020 07:46

@TigerJoy the thing is there is that 15% I do know people who’ve had late BFP and and it’s hard to know exactly when you ovulated without ultra sound. I think that’s why everyone always says your not out until AF which is the only thing that can confirm that pregnancy has occurred.

@ceebee21 sorry about AF but I’m glad your going to see a specialist. I’m just waiting and seeing I’m glad it’s weekend. AF not due for me until next Thursday so got a bit to wait.

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 24/01/2020 07:16

I'm out Sad. AF has arrived this morning as expected, but that does mean only a 10 day luteul phase.

I'm seeing a consultant on tuesday about my thyroid; I have low progesterone which is probably caused by my thyroid and is probably causing the 10 day phase, hopefully she can give me something to correct it xx

TigerJoy · 23/01/2020 20:33

OK so if 85% of people implant at 9DPO does that mean I am definitely not pregnant now?

I just ask as the pelvic pain has come roaring back, plus I went to pilates today, and I really fancy a really, really hot bath. But obviously I don't want to put anything at risk...what do you all think?

I feel a bit weird. I'd normally have pain at ovulation but didn't have any. Have it now, the day after. My boobs have swollen up and I feel quite puffy. Tbh, wondering if I'm pregnant but presumably I wouldn't be feeling anything now?

Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/01/2020 18:40

@ceebee21 I agree 100% I’m glad I don’t temp anymore I did opk for 3 days and proved I was right that ovulation about cd 16 and still only bd every other day as long as you do that there’s nothing more you can do. The bd is the important bit. I think opk and temp good to do to learn about body but once you kind of know it’s not much use doesn’t change anything. If it’s not positive Saturday I won’t be testing again because I think if it’s negative at 11/12 dpo the chance of it being positive is low at 85% of people implant 9dpo
