@mrsgtobe97 I can see something faint wait a couple of days and test again you'll probably get a good line! 😬 I wouldn't go off opk though, I never got a positive when I found out I was pregnant

I took folic acid form when I found out up to about 6/7 weeks but it make me feel so sick so I did stop and the nausea eased I tried combined and on it's own but it just did not agree with me.

@Jonesbabynumber1 yeah I just downloaded loads of apps and put in the first day of last period and they all came out the same so I just relied on the app lol. @mrsgtobe97 I can't really :( how many dpo are you?

It's weird isn't it! Like I'm in the 6th month now but still have 4 to go?! Baffling hahah. The dr isn't likely to want to see you, they have kept me away at all costs. All the booking in apps at 8 weeks with your midwife are over the phone atm @Jonesbabynumber1 x

Yes that’s what confused me that your two weeks before actually being pregnant I suppose not everyone like us lot who know the ins and outs of our cycles 🙈😂

@BabyB19 amazing advice thank you, I’ll defo book In the private scans. I’m 30 in two weeks and I’ve said to my husband this could be the best present I could have wished for. Hopefully I get a good GP, I’m curious if they’ll want me to go in or do it over the phone

I was taking the pregnancy vits and they wanted me on 5mg of folic acid as soon as I told them until 12 weeks so ask your gp straight away. Go from first day of your last period, so when you find out you should be 4 weeks by your missed period, you're counted as pregnant 2 weeks before you ovulate which is weird @Jonesbabynumber1 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

My advice would be to book 2 private scans at 8 and 16 weeks, that way you have private and nhs scans at each 4 weeks point, it helped me massively having that reassurance and never having that long to wait up until I could feel movement and had a bump. I would also say don't let anxiety ruin it for you, I really became quite unwell in first few months with anxiety and there was no need because it's all worked out well so I've just lost out on all that happy time. If the worst happens you will be equally as upset wether you've waited for it to happen or gone ahead and got excited, so you might as well let yourself enjoy it. Physically I would try and stay active with some yoga or something as I'm struggling with ligament pain atm which I'm positive wouldn't have been so bad if I had have been more active initially @Tbug @ceebee21 @Jonesbabynumber1 xx

@Tbug glad I’m not alone after 6 months of it I was sick of taking it. I’ll start tomorrow, I’ve only got pre pregnancy multi tables will they be ok

That’s exciting. What I’m confused about is to find how many weeks you are do you go from day of last period or count day one as first day of missed period. As my app saying I’m 3 weeks but obviously implantation has occurred likely in the last week. Does that make sense?

@Tbug how exciting can’t believe how close a lot of us are. @babyb19 your brave my husbands just cut his hair it’s not the best but I can’t tell him as if he thinks it’s that bad he’ll take it all off and look like and egg 😂. Any advice for next few days ? What would you tell yourself at the start of you could?

@ceebee21 I’ve googled it’s not clear on midwifes I’ll ring GP tomorrow, see what they say and ask about folic acid. Feeling guilty that I stopped taking it be nothing I can do now about it. Are you planning on having an early scan, before 12 weeks?

@Jonesbabynumber1 my OH has cut my hair for me 🤣🤣🤣 I was off work with migraines before lockdown so I've pretty much been in two 2 months now and was in desperate need for a cut 🤣 luckily he's done a good job ahahah! I'm glad I'm still in the group to see everyone getting their bfps!
I think getting past that 4 week mark is a big milestone when you've had CPs isn't it @ceebee21 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

@Jonesbabynumber1 yes spoken to GP, had to get bloods done due to thyroid , but re midwife, you self refer online where I am!

@BabyB19 5 weeks today... hoping maybe I'll get a 3 weeks on clear blue soon xx

@MrsCl19 @BabyB19 it’s so exciting and even better to have people that have been there from the start to enjoy it with. Aw thanks I ordered a uv lamp and have been doing my own, my hair on the other hand is in desperate need of a hairdresser 💇‍♀️.
