Hi Ladies, any of you out there around cd 8 looking for someone to chat with during the rollercoaster ride that is ttc? A lot of my friends already have kids and I’m feeling a bit left behind. xo

@Alice8688 I’m with you...the entire process is a nightmare - far too much waiting! You never know, perhaps you just missed ov as it happened during the night or something...& you’ll surprise us all with a bfp x

Last month it was 45 days. Flow app has me ovulating this week but last week I have two lines o e faint but they have now both vanished and I now have extremely sore boobs so no idea what's going on with my cycles which is very annoying!

@Sammiantha2020 thank you doll. I'm hoping that af will either be on time so I can start again or the cycle is long but I ov. A long cycle with no pos opks/ov will be upsetting xxx

Hi @Alice8688 it is verrry possible to have a long cycle every now n then - I’m having a particularly short one this cycle at 26 days...I was always 30/31. Don’t lose hope! x

CD16 here and nowhere near a pos OPK 😢 I just don't think I will this month. I've been testing since AF finished so haven't missed it. But no positive so far. Just faint second lines. Not getting discernibly darker or lighter. I am either in for a monster month of 30+ days or a regular 28-29 and no ov. Either way: pretty down about it!

I’m just trying to enjoy dtd outside of the window...it can be so stressful during the fertile window x

Don’t worry @Alice8688 mines have been all over the place & I ov’d a wk earlier this month to last month 🤷‍♀️ try not let it get to you!
I’m sure you will be well covered if it’s happened without you catching the surge... try to relax (easier said than do I know!).
I’m 9 dpo ...no symptoms, however as ov caught me completely unaware this month I’m pretty sure it’s into the next cycle for me... x

Thank you @Sammiantha2020 it's just so hard waiting! Especially after being pregnant so recently (and after relatively few months trying). And my cycle was so textbook then: as were the opks. I struggle with "outta the norm" at the best of times!
Luckily we do bd a fair amount (lucky DH!) even when we weren't trying. So this is my only saving grace!
How are you getting on? Xx

@Alice8688 Opk’s can fluctuate so much...this doesn’t mean you won’t still ovulate or that you haven’t already & perhaps missed this if it was a short surge (mines is positive for about 12hrs max usually). Make sure regular bd to cover yourself x

I think this month is a bust for me. 😔 I had a couple opks get a little darker yesterday and the day before but today back to as faint as faint can be. 😔 also probably means an extra long cycle which means the next ttc is delayed. I feel so down about it.

Hey @Wintergal if it’s gone from nothing to faint I’m sure you haven’t missed it! What cd are you on now? Maybe worth a test early evening just to make sure you don’t miss it... as I said in a yesterday if I hadn’t tested last Wednesday eve I’d have missed it completely & still be looking out for it x

Hi @Brodijen well I know if I hadn’t tested last Wed eve I’d have missed it! A surge can last just a cpl of hrs/ several days for some ppl - everyone is different! x

@Brodijen just IC ones. As have worked in the past. I've also used CB in the past but were no more accurate for me than the ics.

Also I test twice a day to "catch" the surge. So CB would see me bankrupt pretty quickly 😂 xxx

@Alice8688 I know exactly what you mean, I like to have things planned out! What test are you using if you don’t mind me asking? @Sammiantha2020 would you usually test more than once a day? I only test once at the moment, could I miss the surge if I do?

Aww thank you so much @Alice8688 - we all deserve it 🤗. Just keep enjoying dtd as you never know when a positive opk can creep up on you (if I hadn’t tested last Wed eve I’d never have known & would still be waiting)...I just got a feeling as had a bit of cramping after a negative opk at 2pm - weird! x

@Brodijen it really is frustrating! Another very faint negative today. 😔 it also means i could be in for a long cycle. And I hate that because I'm a stickler for "knowing what's next".
