Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣
Feel free to jump on the crazy train with me!

Thanks, think there is something about this journey that scrambles my brain and turns me from a rational human being into...something else! I am working for 2 weeks straight from tomorrow, maybe that will help! 😂

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 21:30

@Why1stheskyblu3 it's usually around two weeks after your first day of your last period that you will ovulate, but some women are all over the place, as everyone is different.

I'm due to say hi to my AF a week tomorrow, but as I've said before I think I might be a couple days late, given I ovulated two days later than I did last month.
I really don't want morning sickness or even feeling nauseous as I can't bare that! I'm one of those people that will shove their fingers down their throat to make themselves sick just stop the feeling of feeling nauseous! 🤢
Ideally I'd like to be pregnant and not know it and to breeze through quite happily! My mom did so I really do want it to be the same for me!
Really hoping this month is THE month, as I really can't keep doing this every month! 😩😩😩

Our first proper month of TTC and I was trying to be all relaxed and not tracking ovulation, just enjoying it and see what happens. Slightly regretting that now as both me and OH are now symptom spotting like mad 🙈 and he is supposed to be the sensible one! Got some unpleasant cramping which could be anything quite frankly, but I don't even know when to count down from. I think Thursday/Friday, but could be wishful thinking, can you ovulate early? Have no idea with cycles as only had implant out for 2 and a half months or so.

Keeping fingers crossed for a BFP @dustydiva

Babydust to all, hope you are having a nice weekend

Anyway, just using here to let the crazy out! 😂

FarmerWantsABaby · 12/01/2020 20:12

@Wintergal I also went up to a 45 day cycle after coming off Yasmin. It wrecked my head. I tracked on my app, and today I finally hit 28 days. It took me about 5 months. And I still have no idea if I'll be on time next month either. Hopefully you will regulate soon!

Wintergal · 12/01/2020 19:40

To now I've only ever had one line. Am not long after the pill was 28 days then 45 days so all over the place

EffRam · 12/01/2020 19:36

@wintergal don't be! I always ovulate day 16/17. It's quite normal! How long is your cycle?

Wintergal · 12/01/2020 19:30

Cd14 and still no positive OPk feeling disheartened

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 19:16

@FarmerWantsABaby you can ovulate late and ovulation can run close to your AF date. I have a friend that is like that. She only found out when she was TTC and she had tests done.
Women's bodies work in mysterious ways!

I'm just curious what everyone else's opinions/knowledge is on this.....
If I received flashing smileys on OPK the days before AF arrived, is it possible then that we can have a LH or oestrogen surge right before AF is due?

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 16:27

I am determined not to test early too @Wiggleyfingers
Last month I was money on 4 tests! I think because I had mystery symptoms last month I'm not thinking too much into every twinge or wave of nausea, as this was a lead up to my AF!
I felt a little nauseous this morning when I woke up but other than that nothing. I'm taking that as a good thing, as mystery symptoms will test my sanity 🤪🤪
As implantation is 6-12 PO then I think I may be symptom spotting next weekend! 😝

Wiggleyfingers · 12/01/2020 16:08

Hey all, is there room for one more? @Ginge35 I am the exact same as you, with OD being on wednesday. Hoping your craziness will help me feel more sane. My app says there are 8 more days until I can test. Will need to sit on my hands!
Just a bit of background, I'm 29 ttc #2 DD is 20 months. We were one of the lucky ones last time and conceived first time but I had been off of contraception for a year then. I had my coil removed and of November and AF arrived bang on Christmas Day after I tortured myself for almost a week thinking I had seen a line. 😫 Determined not to test early this month... 🙈

BecauseReasons · 12/01/2020 16:02

Definitely a line. I bet it's more obvious in person too. The digital tests have a lower sensitivity so may take longer to test positive. I tested negative with the digital at first and then positive three days later. Use a FRER (first response early response)- the pink dye tests are apparently less ambiguous.

MrsD1990 · 12/01/2020 15:51

Fingers crossed @DustyDiva, hope on another test it shows a bfp for certain!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Husband and I have been seeing friends - yesterday was a rest day. Back to DTD today though, apparently I'm in my fertile window!

FarmerWantsABaby · 12/01/2020 15:34

@newmum2020 just enjoy the love and snuggles of the little one, any sadness that comes just let it out. You can say your tears are happy ones. Let the emotion out so you're not holding back and letting it build.
A mixture of horrific period pains, nausea (common for me) and disappointment hasn't made today great but as I said earlier, everything has a positive!
I agree with @Ginge35 you should try a digital @DustyDiva

newmum2020 · 12/01/2020 14:57

@FarmerWantsABaby sorry to hear but you're right to see it as positive re cycle tracking if that's you back to normal now! Enjoy your Netflix day ☺️

@DustyDiva I can see a faint line 🤞

I'm now 5DPO and no symptoms except a spotty chin but I do get spots on chin often, I've just never paid attention to which part of cycle 🙄

Sis in law had baby girl early this morning so I'm going soon to see her. Delighted for them and excited to see her but nervous for what emotions it might bring 😬

Ginge35 · 12/01/2020 14:35

@dustydiva have you tried a CB digital. It's just says pregnant or not pregnant. At least it will take away the guess work!
I can't see anything on the test though 😭😭😭 hopefully I'm wrong!

HGee12 · 12/01/2020 14:09

@DustyDiva I can see a faint blue line 🤞🏼

DustyDiva · 12/01/2020 13:40

The line is blue so that gives me hope...

@DustyDiva evaporation lines only appear after the test has dried. If it appeared straight away, it's a positive result. My first positive looked just like that- in fact, DH was convinced there was only one line (the lighting in our house is dreadful).

FarmerWantsABaby · 12/01/2020 13:15

@Wintergal on the positive side, it came bang on time for a 28 day cycle, my cycle has usually been 38-45 days over the past few months so hopefully this is a blessing in disguise and will allow me to track ovulation easier this time.
DH was very supportive. Going to see my Dr on Tuesday for some advise and to talk about my mum's difficulties when TTC so it's all on record.
On another note, I am in agony. Hot water bottle and Netflix for me today!

@DustyDiva would you try a different brand? Apparently the cheapies are almost the best to use? (Correct me if I'm wrong!).

DustyDiva · 12/01/2020 13:04

I did do another clear blue rapid detection this morning and it showed a slightly darker line, hubby could also see it. 12dpo today... but with all the chat online about clear blue being notorious for blue evap lines I am very sceptical

Wintergal · 12/01/2020 12:14

Aw sorry @FarmerWantsABaby

FarmerWantsABaby · 12/01/2020 12:07

Yep. AF is here. Gutted. 😞

FarmerWantsABaby · 12/01/2020 11:53

@DustyDiva definitely wait a few more days. It's very hard to work out. Fingers are crossed for you 🤞🏻 🥰

How is everyone over the weekend? I've had more cramping, especially during my yoga this morning when we worked on the sacral area. I'm feeling very pessimistic and feel possibly AF is on her way.

Still confused over the flashing smiley face on CB OPK. The first day I used it I had a solid empty circle (non fertile window), now on my 4th day of flashing smiley face yet AF is due in a week according to my app.

DustyDiva · 12/01/2020 11:43

I'm not convinced..... I think it could be an evap line even though it showed up straight away. Am going to wait till Tuesday to test again
