Despite my TTC last month, it resulted in my AF arriving Christmas Day (deep joy!) it's round 2 this month! I'm due to ovulate on Monday (6th) so anyone else wanna join me, with the overthinking, being excessively paranoid, mystery pregnancy signs and taking PT's when you know you shouldn't be! 🤣🤣
Feel free to jump on the crazy train with me!

Also, I've now got a cold sore!!! I remember with my DS the day before I tested positive my wisdom tooth started coming through...

MrsD1990 · 15/01/2020 16:52

@DustyDiva it sounds amazing where you live! I live in a city, which I love, but I do wish it was easier to get out to have some fresh air!!!

I'm DTD tonight. It is starting to feel like a chore because we've scheduled it in with each other but we both really want a baby. I can't wait to test next week on Friday!!

DustyDiva · 15/01/2020 16:33

I had lots of sharp stabbing type pains from ovulation to around 8dpo and then nothing until 13dpo and feeling some slight twinges again. I have PCOS so I think it more than likely just tiny cysts rather than actually being preggers...

ablisha · 15/01/2020 14:06

@cherrybomb86 @Ginge35 exactly the same here! Let's all cross our fingers were wrong!

cherrybomb86 · 15/01/2020 14:04

@Ginge35 that's exactly what I've been getting. Stabbing pains, sometimes feel likes it ovaries sometimes more central. Weird.
Totally convincing myself that it's AF to be honest, today I'm feel very blue. Miserable and hopeless. If it is AF then she needs to just hurry up and get here and piss off again!! Silly cow 😝

Ginge35 · 15/01/2020 13:50

@DustyDiva sounds Devine! DH keeps banging on about moving to somewhere more remote! Maybe one day!
@cherrybomb86 you're same as me for when AF is due! Fingers crossed we both get a BFP next week and I'm liking the sound of cold symptoms as a good sign! Saying that I've been surrounded by ill people for a couple months now, so I'm surprised it's taken so long for me to come down with something!
Still got the cramps and I've been getting sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen as well. Anyone else had that, or am I just in for a horrid AF?

cherrybomb86 · 15/01/2020 10:26

Morning ladies, @Ginge35 cold symptoms can be a really good sign of a BFP so fingers crossed that it's your time!
Anyone else experienced spotting? I usually spot during and before ovulation. But this ninety spotting has continued since ovulation til now. I have another 7 days until AF is due. Lots of dull aching in the lower abdo...however I'm stressed with work so thinking it could be something to do with that.
Babeh dust to all xx

DustyDiva · 15/01/2020 10:06

@Ginge35 I don't have time to be bored!! I work full time and when I'm not doing that I usually have my DS & his friends to entertain!! Wouldn't change where we live for anything, apart from the lack of shops!!!

Ginge35 · 15/01/2020 08:51

Morning ladies! Well my cold has officially taken hold! Woke up this morning with a sore throat, runny nose and still feeling like I need a solid weeks sleep! 😩
I hope you're all right that my "symptoms" are signs I'm due a BFP not my AF!
The way I'm feeling I feel if AF does arrive next week it's going to be vicious!
@dustydiva that's mental that you're so remote! Don't you get bored? 😝😝😝
I suppose if there isn't a lot to do where you are, you have more time to DTD! Haha! 😂

Hi all, lurking but thought I would post.
I'm 33 and in same sex relationship, my wife and I have been TTC for 6 months.
Currently 5dpo and symptom spotting like a MF.

Currently stabbing/aching pains in lower abdo and ovaries. Fleeting nausea which is totally in my head...

Good luck to all!

ablisha · 14/01/2020 23:02

@Ginge35 I have the same signs today 😢

DustyDiva · 14/01/2020 22:08

@FarmerWantsABaby we are very remote but it's amazing! However not so good for having babies as you have to leave the island 4 weeks before you are due to stay on the mainland just in case!!

FarmerWantsABaby · 14/01/2020 22:03

@DustyDiva you are remote! I thought I was! I'm on a farm, in a forest, on a mountain 😂

@Ginge35 try not to think like that! Keep positive!

MrsD1990 · 14/01/2020 22:02

Wow @DustyDiva hope your tests get delivered soon!!

Fingers crossed for you @Ginge35, they might be symptoms rather than af!!

I think I'm a bit behind everyone else in terms of ovulation. In the fertile window now so I have a while yet to go before I can test. Feels like ages.

DustyDiva · 14/01/2020 21:39

@Ginge35 yes off the west coast of Scotland!! Don't give up hope, cramps are also a sign of your womb growing.... hang in there x

Ginge35 · 14/01/2020 21:37

@Gastonimo totally understand!

@DustyDiva flipping heck! You are remote! Where the hell are you? One of those tiny islands off the coast of Scotland? My geography is terrible btw!

I'm now getting sharp pains in my stomach and my boobs are starting to hurt. All signs AF is due to rear it's ugly head next! 😩😩😩 devastating! I really thought this would be the month!

OP posts:
DustyDiva · 14/01/2020 21:11

I have to get a ferry to the nearest shop and it's not sailing because of the size of the sea so I will just have to wait ...

Gastonimo · 14/01/2020 21:07

I think because last time round I tested way too early every month and it was so disappointing. And I kept telling myself if I don't test this will be the month. So this time round I feel like if I don't test there's more chance. Even though that's stupid!

Ginge35 · 14/01/2020 21:03

Hi @Gastonimo if you're 16DPO then you should be close to your AF. Hopefully not and you get a BFP instead!
How come you don't want to test?

OP posts:
Gastonimo · 14/01/2020 20:52

How's everyone doing?
I'm about 16 dpo according to my app (although don't actually know when I ovulated).
I don't know when to test as I dont really know how long my cycles normally are.
I'm putting off testing but can't really explain why. It's like the longet I leave it the more chance of being pregnant.
I'm so hungry and tired, definitely symptom spotting!
Hope everyone else is doing ok x

Ginge35 · 14/01/2020 16:23

Wow! My grammar is horrendous on that message! 🤪

OP posts:
Ginge35 · 14/01/2020 16:22

@MrsD1990 you've got some restraint! I'd get in my car and drive for however long I had to, to get to a shop that sells PT's!
Fingers crossed for your delivery tomorrow!
Look at this way the longer you leave the more chance you've got if an even stronger positive!
How is everyone else feeling today? I still feel like shit. Intermittent cramping, now got small ulcers on my tongue and feeling really tired still!
I still think I'm out this month and now my body is torturing me with pre AF suffering and feeling under the weather! 😩😩😩

OP posts:
ablisha · 14/01/2020 14:57

@MrsD1990 I have read that DTD is best every other day for sperm mobility but I guess it's all luck!

MrsD1990 · 14/01/2020 14:30

Annoying that you can't get your tests because of this storm @DustyDiva!!

TTC is so hard. Husband thought he would be having an amazing time but he's feeling way now too. I'm in my fertile window so we have been DTD even though yesterday we were exhausted... DTD every other day now until the end of the month.

Hope we get some positives on this thread! Am thinking probability wise it's likely!!

LV1987 · 14/01/2020 13:54

@ablisha I know what you mean... I just want this cycle to be over with so we have a benchmark for moving forward. January is already the longest month in the universe, and this is just dragging it out even more!
