Hey, I've started a more broad thread this month rather than a bus so we can keep it going rather than starting new ones every month.

Here are my stats
TTC no 2 (2 years to have no 1 but we weren't actively trying and I knew nothing about my cycle and DTD not so often)
Cycle 12
AF/BFP 12th Jan
Age 30

Feel free to tag some more @tamalala @Sunflower2019 @ceebee21

@Kiki87, 8dpo..wow!! With my DS it showed after 6dpos, I swear they were the longest days ever 😂

Hola84 · 03/01/2020 21:52

@Kiki87 welcome Kiki87, and happy New Year to you too! Fingers crossed for you xx

Hola84 · 03/01/2020 21:50

@BFP2020, thanks so much, it looks nothing like it lol 😂 still DTDing just in case, but will carry on with the tests.. I've read some ladies start OPKs from the first day post period just to be sure, so I guess I will try that next month (preparing for bad news already 😅) are you girls taking any vitamins or meds for support?

Kiki87 · 03/01/2020 21:42

@Hola84 u can ovulate late too and just have a longer cycle I ovulate every month between CD15-17 and my cycles are 28-30 days long I'm extremely regular which makes it so annoying!! Keep testing for another few days just in case and get plenty of DTD in!!

I actually really enjoy the gym once in there it's just hard sometimes to motivate myself to go. X

@BFP2020, the picture won't upload, but if you imagine the faintest second line ever, that would be it! I think I might have missed it I guess, perhaps didn't notice it over busy NYE/new year day. Especially as I don't have any other Ov signs.. nothing at all. few OV calculators I have used say todays the day, but nothing really to back it up. Well done to you for starting the excersizes, I am so impressed! It certainly sounds like a good idea to take the mind off this craziness, plus it's good for the body and the soul 🙌👏👏👏👏 do you enjoy it? I seem to be super up for it for the first few days, and then I find every excuse in the world to avoid it! X

BFP2020 · 03/01/2020 19:58

@Tamalama that's mental isn't it so unfair like secondary infertility is a thing like 🤦🏻‍♀️

OP posts:
Tamalama · 03/01/2020 19:50

@BFP2020 there isn't the option of ivf because me and DH already have a child together so apparently we wouldn't be eligible for it on the NHS and we can't afford to go private x

BFP2020 · 03/01/2020 17:11

@Hola84 So CD 14 today and you haven't had a positive OPK yet? Have you a picture of this mornings one? Are your cycles normally 2 days?

I'm feeling a bit blah today I have started going to the gym again since CD 1 as I was told its supposed to help PMS went last night and did legs and a bit of Abs and have a bit of a weird feeling now in my uterus area but dunno is it muscle pain or PMS cramps they re normally a good bit stronger than this if AF cramps so I'm hoping its Muscle pain!!! Going to do arms now at 5.30. Might go spinning too at the weekend really helps to take the might off TTC and really gives you good endorphins Smile xx

@BFP2020, it was 26 days X I try to do it twice a day, in the afternoon and then around 8pm x

BFP2020 · 02/01/2020 23:25

@Hola84 how many times a day are you testing and how long was your last cycle? X

@Kataa I've had an ultrasound and a vaginal ultrasound and they said I've a few small cysts on my right ovary but that they wouldn't be worried they were so small but they said they would have to do a laparoscopy to see if there is ENDO. The waiting for the appointment is annoying though hoping this is my month and I won't have to get it done 😁🤞🏼

Kataa · 02/01/2020 23:05

@BFP2020 I think endometriosis can be very variable, it can be severe with not much pain or mild with lots of pain, only way to know for sure is laparoscopy I think. It also depends on where it is, I was told an ultrasound can show it up if it’s on the ovaries but you can’t see it elsewhere.
It’s certainly worth seeing if you can have the operation, must be very unpleasant to have pain half the month, I found it frustrating enough planning my life around just days 1 and 2 of my cycle due to pain!

Hola84 · 02/01/2020 23:00

@BFP2020 thank you - it's my 13th day, first day of period was 21st Dec. I'm using some cheap ones I bought on Amazon called One Step x

BFP2020 · 02/01/2020 22:58

@Champoopapi I'm in the same mindset as you my little girl is 4 and a diva a boy would be totally out of my comfort zone and I'm afraid if I've a boy next my OH won't let us have a third and I've always wanted three 🙈 you are going to be wrecked after all that what CD do you normally O?

@Kataa I thought you were going to say you had pain all through the month I get bad O pain and then my PMS can't start some months from O day on and it's cramps and backache! It's almost like a relief pain wise when AF does arrive even though every month I'm praying I'm one of those ppl who have cramping and backache and still get a BFP🙈

OP posts:
BFP2020 · 02/01/2020 22:53

@Hola84 I can help you with telling you when an OPK is positive which ones are you using? My OH is really fed up of the schedules DTD it frustrates me so much🤦🏻‍♀️ what CD are you on?

@Tamalama why isn't there an option of IVF?

@Chanel05 me the minute I ovulate I'm just wishing the 2 weeks away because I know I'm going to be disappointed and it really gets me down. I've tried being positive I've tried not thinking about it I feel I've tried everything and nothing seems to help it's just harder for some ppl and I'm one of them and I feel this month I've come to terms with that a lot more x

OP posts:
Hola84 · 02/01/2020 20:42

@Chanel05..forgot to add @ 😊

Hola84 · 02/01/2020 20:41

Chanel05, same here!!! I tell myself to worry less, and try to relax, and dont stress, but I do exact the opposite! Seriously losing hope, although I know it's not been long in comparison to some other people...

Hola84 · 02/01/2020 20:37

@Tamalama, I totally get that! I feel exactly the same, and I was waiting cause I wasn't sure if I wanted the second and then once I've decided and finally convinced hubby, nothing is happening. I did have a cyst on the ovary back in October and needed to wait a month to ensure it disappears and the doctor did say that if it happens the chances are smallish. I'm wondering if I have it again, back to the doctors in Feb to check. Hopefully everything is okay. I'm supposed to be ov tomorrow, fingers crossed! X

Kataa · 02/01/2020 19:47

Hi @BFP2020 part of the reason I had the laparoscopy was because I did get quite bad period pains (would take 2xparacetomol and 2xibuprofen all day for first day and a half and would still sometimes get pain) although no other significant symptoms. They also partly did it because I went for a hycosy and they weren’t able to do it (long story and thankfully quite rare apparently- I don’t want to worry anyone else if they’re having one!) so they were able to check my tubes during the laparoscopy.
I’m pleased to say my period pains are not so bad anymore (although I do still get pain) so it was worth doing. Hope that’s useful 😊

SonjaMorgan · 02/01/2020 14:59

@Chanel05 all the time. The first few months I expected to fall pregnant but now it feels like playing the lottery. If I ever do get a positive I don't think I will believe it until I see the ultrasound.

ChampooPapi · 02/01/2020 13:58

@BFP2020 we are definitely happy with either, but I do fear the boy situation a bit because I feel that I know how to 'do' girls.

I'm going for it like a loon this month, only three day period so started dtd on cd 4 and now ticked off cd5,6 & 7. Going to do 9,10 & 11 if possible as then my partner is away untill Thursday.

I'm going for everyday this month he is here 💪

Chanel05 · 02/01/2020 13:39

Does anyone else ever feel like they have 0 hope in the tww? I am 8dpo and since 1dpo I have just assumed I am out already and feeling disheartened!

Tamalama · 02/01/2020 13:20

@Hola84 my DD turned 3 in November and I fell pregnant within 3 months of coming off the pill. I fell pregnant last year after 2 months of coming off the pill but it ended in a mc. We've been trying again since May but nothing so far, which makes it even more frustrating because it's happened so quickly before ☹️

Tamalama · 02/01/2020 13:17

@Hola84 yes, I've been on the ttc buses since May and it's great to have people to talk to 😊 good luck to you for this month x
