Our other thread is getting quite long and I know they stop at 1,000 comments so thought I’d make a new one for us .
I am so sorry if I’ve missed anyone , just going by usernames I remember off the top of my head !
I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant (miscalculated and thought I was only 4+3). Going for an 8 week scan (I’ll be almost 9 weeks) on 25th Jan.
but I am really enjoying joining you on your journeys on TTC and you’ve all been amazing so I didn’t want to just say goodbye to the thread .
Please come on in if you’re new here , and join everyone on their journeys . I feel like we’ve been chatting forever but it’s only been a couple of months. What a roller coaster it’s been!

Anyway, as we were!

@CurbsideProphet Glad you’re feeling slightly better. Have been thinking of you. I’m sure the beauty therapist didn’t mind and I’m glad she had a positive story to tell you. Take one day at a time 💕

@MGee123 I’m just about to finish my period and me and my husband have quite a lot of time off together over the next few weeks. We go away on holiday for three weeks on 18th as well so will just try and have regular sex every other day.

I have no idea what my cycle is doing though as my cycles have been long and have now become irregular. I went to the GP today who has sent me for bloods and requested a scan. Three of my friends have announced they’re pregnant in the last few weeks. I was feeling at ease with everything and had kind of taken a step back from it thinking it’ll happen when it happens but I’m feeling really pants about it again... probably because I don’t know what my cycle is doing. I know that regular sex is the best thing I can do so I will do that but I’ve just kind of lost faith in my body a bit... sorry for such a ramble.

Glad you're feeling a bit better @CurbsideProphet . Sometimes it's really helpful to talk to someone totally removed from the situation! I'm sure she didn't mind. Hope you had a nice time at the salon, a bit of pampering can make you feel much better 😊

How is everyone else doing? I'm in the weird waiting phase for my fertile period. I actually think I find this worse than the TWW - I think I prefer the slight optimism during the TWW that things might have worked this month. I find waiting for ovulation rather tedious!

I was thinking of ditching the OPKs this month (as I have never had any positive ones) but have decided to persevere as I would like to try and find out if I am actually ovulating. I started them very early this month (today - CD 7) and plan to continue them until CD 24 or so, in case I am ovulating later than average. We are going to DTD every other day throughout this cycle as well, due to the unpredictability of ovulation. Can't do any harm! I have quite an organised, pragmatic approach to life so think this organised approach to TTC will suit me! I'm feeling more positive after my first more regular cycle last month. Fingers crossed we're on the right track.

Thank you all Smile

I feel a bit better today. I went to an appointment this morning and blurted it out to the beauty therapist. I've only been to her a few times. I'm glad I did though, because she told me that she had a miscarriage (later on than my chemical pregnancy) but then went on to have a healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy. That has given me a lot of hope Smile

hopefulhel · 04/01/2020 00:40

@CurbsideProphet so sorry to hear that. Hope you're keeping ok and looking after yourself

notalwaysalondoner · 02/01/2020 22:17

Sorry to hear that @curbsideprophet. Thinking of you and your DH.

CurbsideProphet · 02/01/2020 21:48

I'm still thrilled to see all of your good news and BFPs by the way Smile Hopefully lots more as 2020 progresses Smile

Maddy0405 · 02/01/2020 20:36

Thinking of you @CurbsideProphet and sending you so much love. Take it easy and take time for you and your husband 😘 xxx

Hannahb26 · 02/01/2020 20:22

Sending all the love to you @CurbsideProphet ❤️

Cheyanne101 · 02/01/2020 20:04

@CurbsideProphet extactly it happened really fast so it proves it is possible. Its still so hard and heartbreaking but you will come out the otherside of it with time ♥️ xo

CurbsideProphet · 02/01/2020 19:56

Thank you all Flowers
Even though we both knew it was very early, you can't help but make plans.
Poor DH is feeling sad and helpless seeing me in pain. We have tried to remind each other that we now know I can get pregnant, which is something at least.

We're not telling family, as I don't want to have to comfort them or have them say things like "it wasn't meant to be". I've spoken to one friend who is a HCP and DH is going to speak to one friend.

We'll pick ourselves up after this and be back to it next cycle.

I'm very glad for mumsnet Smile

LeaBri · 02/01/2020 19:28

@CurbsideProphet I’m so sorry lovely, make sure you rest and take care of yourself. I know it’s so hard but there is a silver lining that you know you can conceive and it will happen for you again. Lots of hugs xxx

bubblyboo900 · 02/01/2020 19:06

Sorry to hear this @CurbsideProphet. Glad DH came home to keep you company. Make sure you let him look after you xx

MGee123 · 02/01/2020 17:55

So sorry @CurbsideProphet 😢 it must be such a rollercoaster of emotions for you. Glad you've got some company. Thinking of you this evening.

Cheyanne101 · 02/01/2020 17:47

@CurbsideProphet im so so sorry ♥️ we are all here for you to come chat when you feel like it. Look after yourself and get some rest xx

GaaaaarlicBread · 02/01/2020 17:17

@curbside I’m so sorry, I’ve been thinking of you . I think that’s what a girl on our old thread said, Leah I think, said don’t test until AF is due or a week late as it’s heart breaking . I know it’s hard as you want it so bad but it makes it much harder seeing that line and then this happening . Sending you so many hugs and I’m glad your husband is with you that’s good of him. Rest and take it easy, go into your next cycle with a relaxed mind xx

@bubblyboo900 @LeaBri @itsemily
it's not good news I'm afraid. I've been bleeding and have painful cramps today, so I expect that's it now.
DH came home from work to keep me company, so at least I've not been on my own. I'm quite down and had to tell work because I just couldn't do anything.
This was only our 2nd cycle of trying. Hopefully there will soon be a next time. I don't think I would test until I'm several days late, as it's been harder for me seeing that good line.

Onwards for next month I hope now Flowers

Maddy0405 · 02/01/2020 16:38

@itsemily I really hope so. Feel quite down about my cycles being irregular but also don’t want to get too worked up about it cos that’s no good for conception!

GaaaaarlicBread · 02/01/2020 15:48

I’m sat worrying because my boobs don’t hurt today when they’ve been agony 🙄😓

So happy for everyone ! 2020 is everyone’s year 💕

Fingers crossed this is my month.
Hope u all had a nice new year.

Cheyanne101 · 02/01/2020 14:06

GaaaaarlicBread · 02/01/2020 13:50

@chey will you be like me and worry now til the 12 week scan ?! 🤣 I’m so anxious about the wait which is why I ended up booking an early test lol

OP posts:
Cheyanne101 · 02/01/2020 13:23

Thanks everyone.. i still dont believe it i will break the bank now buying tests i just know i will! Hopefully it all still goes to plan etc im aware its super super early but jeez i was not expecting that! X

GaaaaarlicBread · 02/01/2020 13:09

Congrats @Cheyanne101 !! I told you , you just know when you’re pregnant ! I’m surprised the digital worked so early they usually say they don’t ! But that’s amazing , definitely no such thing as a false positive on a digital . You’re all good ! Blue dye tests can be known to run but pink or digital are very reliable ! X

OP posts:
bubblyboo900 · 02/01/2020 12:30

Congratulations @Cheyanne101. Good for you!! Like @MGee123 said you can’t really get false positives, only in very rare cases. But it feels very surreal when it happens doesn’t it? I’ve taken about 6/7 tests as I’m convinced it can’t be true.
@CurbsideProphet how are you doing today?
