TTC after miscarriage - January 2020

@stephyrose please don't catastrophize just yet (coming from the worlds biggest catastrophizer!) and be kind to yourself.

I know how you feel about wanting to be pregnant again immediately to help come to terms with everything. I feel the same way, I'm already hoping and praying that the first month we try again I'll catch immediately but I also know the reality is that it is unlikely and it may take a bit of time. If it's not meant to be this month don't worry yet, there is absolutely nothing to say it won't happen for you again with a successful outcome. Me and my husband are clinging on to the positive in that we know we can get pregnant (as this was my irrational fear before we began trying 😂). I also fell really quickly once we began trying and I know I will be devastated if it doesn't happen straight away again and my mind will go into overdrive so I feel a bit of a hypocrite offering you reassurances but there is honestly nothing to worry about just yet and I'm sure your time will come, as will everyone else's on this thread hopefully 🙂

My opks are getting darker again... What does this mean? Maybe I didn't ovulate last week when they went dark...?!

13 dpo and tested everyday with frer and just BFN the last one being this morning with FMU.
Been doing all the crazy looking from all angles and lights but nothing there:(

@StephyRose .... Awww no that’s awful you’re feeling that way!
Chances are the miscarriage could just be a once off and there’s no reason why you wouldn’t be successful this time.
Also your hormones are all over the place so they’re responsible for making you feel really down and teary!
I think if you hang on for the first morning urine you could get a good solid line and you’ll feel much better.

I've just done another CB but not a digital one and not pregnant according to the test. To be fair, I've just downed 3 pints of coke in 30 mins so it could be diluting but I'm a day late so it should come up if I am.

Haunted by the three faint positives I've had this week and for 6 full days I've been so excited and thought I could come to terms with the MC if it means I get my little baby this way.

DP are visiting friends at the moment and we have a long drive back down south. Im surrounded by happy people but all I want to do is cry and cry. Totally defeated and floored.

I'm being totally melodramatic but I feel like I'm being punished for something I've done wrong in a past life. If I'm not cut out for this, how could I possibly expect to be trusted with a baby? 😥😪

@toomanyleggings try to DTD tonight .... it actually stops me wanting to kill him for a couple of days after 😂
@StephyRose I know how you feel, I’m the same, Anxiety through the roof! I never test after first morning urine coz that only happens once a day so it stops me from testing all day long. Try to hang on til the morning. Do you have another CB to use?

Congrats to all the BFPs this morning. 🎉🎉👶🏼 @didslysquiddlydoo @Cruiser1 amazing news, so happy for you.

I stupidly just did a CB digital and managed to only diddle a tiny amount on the stick as I didn't really need to go and the result came back 'Not Pregnant'🙈🙈 my anxiety is through the roof. I just dont want to try to concieve anymore.

Still no period, I'm now a date late. Will do another one this evening. I've worried about this all weekend and I haven't thought about anything else, and I'm bloody sick of it.

@toomanyleggings we aren’t months into ttc either, when we conceived in August we wasn’t actively trying, just not preventing it from happening and we caught first cycle. Feels like a lifetime since then. Sending hugs your way x

Me on the other hand... still no AF, was due Weds/Thurs gone, I have no hpt left however I did one on Friday and was negative... any one know how long it takes for your 2nd AF to come after MC? After my MC it took 5 weeks and my cycles are usually 4 weeks ...

Getting so frustrated and impatient 😩😩😩

@BS9790 I feel cheated literally 3/4 days of the week to be honest. First miscarriage I’d be 6 months now and second miscarriage I’d be going for my 12 week scan this week. It’s so unfair and it’s also robbing me of enjoying my friends pregnancy with her. I’m so happy for her but it makes me sad when I talk to her because it reminds me of what I lost 😞

The whole thing is SH1T ladies but we will get there in the end 🙏

I'm so tempted to test after seeing all these lovely lines!
Still only about d6-8po that I can work out, although symptoms are v similar to further along last time. MC lasted 9 days and I've no idea when or if I OVd. Have exactly the same symptoms though. Been an absolute cow to DP last night for no reason at all, so thats another sign!

I'm about half way through TWW too.
Stressful week at work coming up and all I want to do is stay under my duvet!!

This last week I've just felt so emotional about it all, feel cheated that i should be getting excited for my 12 week and instead I'm worrying that I haven't gotten pregnant this month and (rather irrationally!) fearing that I'll never get pregnant again.

Zero signs for me.... by 7dpo with my MC Pg I was feeling sick, cramping, bloated, off chocolate.

As soon as AF arrives next week... I'm booking a holiday!!!

The BFP’s on here this morning have cheered me up. Congratulations lovelies. Fingers crossed for happy healthy pregnancies x

Thanks for your messages, I knew you guys would understand. The OH doesn’t seem to and it’s causing some arguments at the moment, so even with the EWCM we haven’t DTD, so if it was any indication of ovulation it might have been missed now ☹️
Hope everyone in the TWW is surviving. Can’t wait to see more positives in the coming weeks x

@Elm7 Iv just bought loads of internet cheapies and testing from 5dpo (even though it’s ridiculous) as it’s costing me about 20c 😂 and it makes me feel better 😂

@didslysquiddlydoo yep I’m half way through the TWW and it feels like it’s been months 🤦🏼‍♀️ AF due Sat will try and hold out on testing until Friday but make no promises that my willpower is strong enough to wait that long 😂
