TWW - currently 6dpo!

Hey, I'm currently 6dpo and looking for some friends to pass this next week with as the TWW is a crazy time!! I'm at work tomorrow so that'll distract me but I'd like to test Friday when I'm 8DPO event though it's still very early... anyone similar? Merry Christmas everyone I hope we all get our BFPs!! Xx

@Sunshinexx95 honestly I'm not the one to encourage you not to POAS I'm as bad the rest of us!! See how you feel, if you've got a lovely day planned then don't test in case it's BFN as it's still very early days and if you know you're not going to be disheartened you could test? I read that implantation can happen up to 12 days so we're testing very early, I think 9DPO is the common implantion day and even then hcg needs to grow xxx

@AsSurprisedAsYouAre nothing wrong with 5dpo I think I'm a POAS addict I really wanted to do one at 5dpo but knew I'd be disappointed , I was going to justify it by saying I had bad indents last month so just want to have one test at 5dpo as a base comparison over the next few days!! I'm 7DPO and AF is due New Year's Eve for me... how wonderful!!

Hi, 6DPO as well, due AF on the 2nd Jan and symptom spotting with the best of them. POAS yesterday (at 5DPO!!) justifying it by saying its a 'control' reading on my ICs!!! Very very glad to have found so many people at the same point as me. Sending love, patience and distractions while our bodies get on and do what they need to do for us

@AliSxo if I test Sunday then it will be 5 days before Af shows up. My period is supposed to show up on the 4th

Hey @bethj123 it's a good sign if your symptoms are different this time round 👍🏼 is anyone testing tomorrow? I'm 8DPO I was going to test but might hold out another day or two xx nothing worse to start the day than a bfn xx

Hello I'm 6dpo today!!
Been trying for 4 years always get sore boobs a week before my period is due but this month got them the day after ovulation (well 1 day after I got my positive ovulation test) not sure what this means..
Haven't really got many symptom except from feeling so so tired. X

@Sunshinexx95 keep everything crossed 🤞 I’ve been in a good few threads where the no symptoms poster got a bfp. I think I’m going to wait and just see if af is late. Don’t want to spoil my holidays with a bfn. Will see though! My poas addiction may take over

Also I am worried this cough is going to interfere with implantation. 😭

@Quiffy I did convince myself last month I was pregnant I felt everything.. but no symptoms are also not good I think... we will see
When will u be testing?

I agree with @alisxo, @Sunshinexx95 no symptoms could be good! I usually convince myself I’m pregnant because my af signs are similar to the textbook ‘early’ signs.

Hey @Sunshinexx95 maybe it's a good sign you've not had any of the symptoms you had last month as AF arrived so fingers crossed your body is implanting hence why your AF symptoms aren't there xxx are you testing whilst you're away? I think my AF is due on the 31st so technically a FRER could start detecting for me in the next few days but we'll see xxx tempted to test tonight with an IC but I know I'll be disappointed if it's bfn xx

Hey @MissLLM I'm 7DPO and due around New Year's Day too!! I think it's a good thing if you can't test, it would drive me wild but BFN's aren't good for the soul no matter how early we all test!! I track all my symptoms in my Flo app so I can compare to the previous cycles and my boobs aren't sore yet but I'm sure they will over the next few days as it's an AF symptom too for me xx

I have no symptoms at all. Only a really bad cough. I don't feel anything unusual. I think I had more symptoms last month and thought I was pregnant. But I wasn't. So honestly I feel nothing this month. And this cough is killing me.

Last month I had really bad "implantation pain on my left side. Backache, sore boobs, cramping all over my stomach. Headaches, And bom af showed up. So funny how the body plays around with our emotions.

Bloated and pee more could be very early pregnancy signs to be honest. I think we need to let go of the though but it is really so hard not to symptoms spot...

I am such a test addict. I'm going away to my parents tomorrow to celebrate new year. So I will be there from 27th night to 1st.. I wish I could surprise them but I don't think it is my month... :(

Can I join? Im 8dpo and af due new year's day. Im staying at partner's family in the middle of no where so not able to buy a test for a few days but driving myself crazy symptom spotting!

Also @Sunshinexx95 any symptoms, I'm bloated and had a few cramps, need to pee a bit more too but they could be general symptoms of anything so not going to get carried away xxx

@Sunshinexx95 that's ok we all do it you're normal hun don't beat yourself up I'm a POAS addict!! Implantation won't have happened this early and it has the hcg needs time to grow, we're halfway through the TWW now, we're on the last run now!! Which test did you use? Xxx

@botbird84 I had the worst indent lines on IC's last month I was convinced there was a line burn it was just weird indent/shadow lines xxx

@LockThatFridge well the only symptoms I've got are a few cramps today, boobs aren't sore yet either, still feel a bit like I've got a cold too which is rubbish!! Xxx

@AliSxo I actually developed an overactive thyroid after having my two. It unfortunately coincided with ttc. My thyroid levels are now under control but it’s caused by an autoimmune disease. It means my immune system is in overdrive and could potentially attack an embryo and not let it implant. That’s how I understand it anyway! I don’t know if that will happen though so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that now my thyroid levels are back to normal my body will let it happen.
I knew I was pregnant with dd2 because I just felt weird. I remember trying to do some work one evening and the computer screen was making me feel dizzy. I can’t really explain it other than a really fuzzy head. I knew early with dd1 too even though I didn’t test until I was late. I had a really sensitive sense of smell and my boobs got massive. Completely different symptoms both times!
@CooperLooper they sound promising for implantation cramps. I keep looking out for them but anything I have will probably be indigestion after too much Christmas food Xmas Grin

Hey @Quiffy I'm a POAS addict, I'm 7DPO so it's far to early to test!! Plan was to test tomorrow at 8DPO but may hold off until 9dpo or more if I can! I'm working today so that's a good distraction!! Have you been trying for long? Xx

Can I join in too? I’m currently 3-4dpo. Had my peak last Sunday and AF due on 4th Jan. TTC #1 and this is cycle 5. I usually symptom spot and test like crazy, but this month I’m trying to relax and distract myself.

Did everyone have a nice Christmas?

@AliSxo yeah keep yourself busy and distracted so you don't think about it too much! Ooo I'll have a look on Amazon I didn't think about that.

No idea when AF is due unfortunately 😔 I had my implant out on 5th Oct and have only had a 2-day period since then (4 days after an LH peak), I didn't ovulate at all for November either. But got a really nice strong LH curve and peak for Dec and I've started BBT tracking too, and had a temp spike the day after my LH peak. So hopefully things are happening the way they should this month, on a 28-day estimate AF might be due on NYE or NYDay! X
