@botbird84 o yes my one friend who's going is Mrs fertile pants and only had sex twice in her first cycle and got pregnant, the girl who's baby shower it is hadn't been trying long but her first child took around 8 months so we're all different xx sometimes when people blab about their fertility I wonder if they're making it up to put a brave face on how hard they tried, like it's a stigma, it's horrible as none of us have any control over it xx

Aww @Sunshinexx95 you're counting yourself out at 7DPO, maybe crying and being emotional is a sign you're pregnant? I read today most people implant at 9DPO so please don't be disheartened by it all, I know it's horrible when everyone else is fucking pregnant I'm avoiding lots of people as I don't want to hear about "how they weren't even trying!" Your parents will not be disappointed that you're not pregnant they'll support you and it takes a lot longer than everyone thinks. Keep wishing for your BFP and you'll get it, don't count yourself out at 7DPO babe xxxxxxxx

I just couldn't hold it and tested now... bfn... I don't think this is my month. I feel so sad.. my sister tested at 7dpo few weeks ago and she got positive test. I feel like I will never see 2 lines ever.
I'm so sorry I know I am so negative but I am sick and tired of trying and of tracking stupid ovulation. Some people get pregnant like that and I have to record my stupid ovulation and it is still not good enough. It is so unfair. I am going on holiday to my parents tonight. And they have been waiting for me to get pregnant. Now my sister is pregnant with her second baby and I feel so stupid that I can't even manage to get one stupid positive pregnancy test. I locked myself in t e toilet and started crying. I'm sorry ... I know I'm stupid ... but I wished this would be my month...

SunnyFlover · 27/12/2019 19:17

I have both Flo and Femometer apps, both have different ovulation predictions, but I noticed that Femometer works better. Plus you can use the app for motion ring and calculating your OPK test results.

botbird84 · 27/12/2019 19:13

@AliSxo yeah that defo won't help, coupled with that one person at baby showers who asks "so when is it your turn?" - or is that just me?! Confused

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 19:08

@botbird84 good idea... it'll do me good not to test tomorrow xxx I'm at a baby shower on Sunday so don't really want to test in the morning as a bfn and baby shower all in one day won't be fun xx

OP posts:
botbird84 · 27/12/2019 19:05

@AliSxo Maybe find some dodgy TV or something to distract you until then?!

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 19:02

I really want to try and hold out even if it's just until Sunday but don't think I'll have the willpower x

OP posts:
botbird84 · 27/12/2019 18:34

@AliSxo yeah it did that with me too which is why I'm not trusting it! Try and hold out for another day or two if you can (I know, easier said than done! 😂) X

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 18:24

*or not! Not now lol x

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 18:24

Hey @botbird84 yeah my Flo app tends to be off for ovulation and when I correct it it throws off my AF date. It's good for symptom tracking though xx I'm 9DPO tomorrow not sure if I should test
In the morning or now xz

OP posts:
botbird84 · 27/12/2019 17:25

@AliSxo I use Flo for tracking AF but found it was off for ovulation. I was using Premium for tracking OPKs but it wasn't massively useful as the photo quality was so different to the OPK sticks. Last month I was ridiculous and so irrational, taking tests before implantation could even have occurred!

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 17:16

Hey @botbird84 I'm so glad we've all found it useful I read it last night in bed and it made me feel really positive so I thought id share... I use an app on my phone called Flo to track everything I'd recommend it xx

@AliSxo thanks for sharing that Ava article, really useful to read and helps to keep you a bit more rational when thinking about testing and stuff. I bought a cheap desk calendar and have marked dates on that (DPO, poss. implantation, etc) so I have a more visual reference. Working so far! :)

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 16:40

I really hope we all get our BFP's - last cycle I was recording I had different CM to what I've had yesterday and today so I just hope it's my month xx

AsSurprisedAsYouAre · 27/12/2019 16:05

@aliSxo that is comforting, thank you. I'm trying to wait until FMU 9DPO to test again, and will remember that even then a negative doesn't need to discourage me.

I'll be testing on Sunday too @Sunshinexx95, fx for us both xx

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 15:04

@Sunshinexx95 you're not out yet so don't be disheartened, well done not testing today you're doing really well!! Let me know when you test, we're only 8DPO so maybe implantation is happening now for both of us!! Fingers crossed xx

@AliSxo
Don't worry it is still too early. I was tempted to test this morning but I didn't. I will test either tomorrow or Sunday. I have no symptoms. My boobs r a bit sore but that is typical af symptoms. I don't think this month is my month to be honest. I feel like usual.. I will test on Sunday ...

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 14:13

@LockThatFridge @AsSurprisedAsYouAre the other month at work I was in the corridor jiggling my boobs around thinking they're probably watching this on the cameras thinking what is she doing 😂 xx

Absolutely caved and POAS at work today. wasn't FMU and was BFN at 7DPO. I don't honestly know what I expected. I am scaring myself because I had extremely tender breasts (which is really unusual for me) until this morning when suddenly they're feeling much more normal, and the heavy feeling in my uterus had gone too. I feel incredibly nauseated but that could just be a cold.. I keep thinking everything suddenly disappearing must mean something bad. I also have virtually no cm, which I keep reading is a bad sign? I know I just need to wait. But it's so hard!
@LockThatFridge you made me laugh, I've been squeezing my boobs today hoping for the tenderness to have returned, too! What must we look like?! Sending love @CooperLooper, and @AliSxo that's really helpful to know that statistically I haven't even implanted yet, so wouldn't see my BFP for many days, even if there is one!

xxx

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 12:44

Hey @SunnyFlover yes you must have implanted really early, I bet you were so shocked to get your BFP so early. I think the rest of us are waited for our BFP so the article gives us all hope that the most common day for implantation appears to be 9DPO so a bfn at 8DPO isn't anything to be upset about. X

OP posts:
SunnyFlover · 27/12/2019 12:22

@AliSxo , it is very individual, I have tested positive 7DPO, which means my implantation happened at 6DPO. Every body is very different and therefore the days can vary drastically. Some ladies wait for much longer to have the positive test as HCG take its sweet time to build. My friend only tested positive 2 weeks past her AF date... not sure how that happened, but apparently it did. Good luck!

AliSxo · 27/12/2019 12:01

Hey everyone!! Hope everyone's well!! No sore boobs for me at 8DPO which is odd, bfn for me this morning but that's ok it's still early, I read this article which was great, basically the earliest implant is around 9DPO, my AF is due on NYE as I have 27 days cycles but don't ovulate until Cd15 which only gives me a 12dpo max xx

Come out for some lunch with boyfriend to take my mind of things, going to tidy up the house and really just try and distract myself today xx

@Sjp17 I'm going to try and hold of until new year at least if I can, although I have a few ICs so it's soooo hard not to be tempted 😬 I have a couple of FRERs so I won't use them until the day AF is due if it hasn't arrived
