Anybody Wanna Cry with Me? 7DPO

LosingtheTTCplot · 18/12/2019 15:50

No reason for crying just feeling super emotional! 😭

7DPO, tested but BFN as expected. Feeling bloated like I have a balloon in my tummy, exhausted, sore boobs and really struggling with smells today. Worst bit is feeling like I could burst into tears.

I know this possibly isn’t pg symptoms but probably PMS, AF not due until Christmas Day either.

Sorry needed to rant. Anyone else feeling the same?!

@Newbie1981 thank you, it's always good to hear stories like that, you end up thinking that was your one chance and it's gone.

Finger crossed for you, 37 is definitely not too old and I'm sure you will get a bfp soon, how many DPO are you? Xx

Newbie1981 · 19/12/2019 06:31

@SoonToBeMrs91 I hope this doesn't sound too patronising but are you sure you want to test Christmas Day, can you wait one day so it doesn't ruin it for you? I know that we all can't wait so I'm guessing not but maybe you could have a Christmas where you fantasise about being pregnant and then wait til Boxing Day. Then if it's a BFN you can have you Christmas come down and TTC meltdown together - knee deep in a box of celebrations. X

Newbie1981 · 19/12/2019 06:29

@Mrssendy Maybe its a subliminal message from one of your eggs telling you it's just been fertilised and that's why you wrote BFP! 😀😀😀

Newbie1981 · 19/12/2019 06:27

@Ange211 there is nothing wrong with those feelings, you're allowed to be jealous and angry. And they will also understand too. You don't begrudge them happiness, it just seems some people will never have any issues TTC and that always seems unfair. All my brothers and sisters (5 in total) have had a boy and girl each, like the movies. They will never get how much has to be right in order to get pregnant (and for it to stick) as it just happens for them. Sigh

Newbie1981 · 19/12/2019 06:22

@ceebee21 not sure if it's helpful or not but I fell straight away then had MMC too. On my 4th cycle after that I fell again with my DS who is 1. Doctor said that's about how long it took to get my cycle back to normal so hang in there, it could be your month!

I'm trying again so soon as I'm so worried it will happen again. I'm 37 so feel like I don't have much time if I lose another. Now up to month 6 and thinking maybe my eggs are all too old now but will keep going.

Obviously not as traumatic for me as I have my little one, but also feeling the stress of it!

Mrssendy · 18/12/2019 22:55

@Ange211 sorry to hear about your MC :( hope you're feeling much better now.

Oh same thing happened to me - few weeks ago my SIL annouced they were pregnant (a lovely surprise one as they didn't want to fall pregnant again that soon as their DD was only 9mo). And I couldn't stop crying for a week! I'm happy but extremely jealous as well! And think that life is unfair! Although DH and I are very lucky as we have our lovely DS. But same with you I do think TTC is hard regardless! I hope you'll get sticky BFP soon! Xx

Ange211 · 18/12/2019 22:51

Glad it's not just me! I've absolutely no idea when AF due (had a MC almost 6 weeks ago) so far this cycle I've poas loads lots of bfn & one or two (probably imaginary) squinters. Last 3 days I've had horrendous cramp as though an epic AF is brewing then tonight my brother announced they are expecting dc3.
I've not stopped crying since I got off the phone. I think it's just a combination of delayed grief, pms & pure jealousy. I'm disgusted & ashamed of myself for feeling this way. I have 2 beautiful ds who I adore & I know I'm very lucky but ttc is hell.

Mrssendy · 18/12/2019 22:49

Wait I meant "somehow I have a feeling I'll have another BFN!" Gosh how sad am I to really want to be pregnant that I typed it wrong! Haha! Silly me! Blush

Mrssendy · 18/12/2019 22:45

Hi ladies. Hope it's ok if I join you all.

@LosingtheTTCplot I really am sorry to hear about your CP Sad and I completely agree with your post! Somehow today I just want to scream and cry! Feeling really down all of a sudden and I just somehow have the feeling this month I'll get another BFP :(
We only DTD on the day I got static smile and the next day. So don't think it'll work Hmm
why TTC is so blooming difficult?!! Why it's so easy for some people?! They only have to look at each other and boom pregnant! Envy anyway! I hope you'll feel better soon and get that lovely BFP! Xxx

Oh btw if you look for "up yours...." post it's a great funny one about ranting about TTC! ;)

SoonToBeMrs91 · 18/12/2019 22:34

Hi all may I join? So sorry to hear about all your losses, TTC sucks big time.
I'm 28, currently 8DPO, had 2 MCs, one in July and one in October. AF due on Christmas Eve and if doesn't show up I'll be testing Christmas Day and I just feel soooooo fed up with everything that I want to cry. My menopausal DM is driving me insane (dad works away and with menopause she got really clingy and emotional).

LosingtheTTCplot · 18/12/2019 22:28

@ceebee21 sorry to hear of your mmc

This will be cycle 7, had 3 chemicals and then a positive digi cycle 5 which was a false positive. Didn’t do the deed as thought was pregnant and missed ovulation cycle 6!

I have short cycles with a short follicular bit and ovulate CD11. Trying to work on that at the moment!

@LosingtheTTCplot We started in August and fell straight away, ended up in a dragged out MMC in October. This is my second proper cycle after that experience, but literally feels like a lifetime.

It really would, keeping everything crossed for that.

How long have you been trying xx

LosingtheTTCplot · 18/12/2019 22:10

Welcome @ceebee21 - How long have you been trying?

So many things to be busy with over the next week, would love to have a BFP for Christmas Day though

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 18/12/2019 22:04

I'll join, um only 4dpo, but AF due xmas day as shorter LP.

I feel so bloated, although that's probably due to the amount of crap I have eaten!!

I'm pretty busy from Friday onwards, so just getting to the weekend and can focus on the festivities xx

LosingtheTTCplot · 18/12/2019 21:49

And to not drinking over Christmas and New Years!

I’m such a loser! Hubby is in bed and my lack of patience got the getter of me and I took a test! Big fat no!! It has only been 7 days, so I’m still hopeful, but not gonna lie I regret taking the damn thing now as now I’m really bummed out! 😭😭😭😭

LosingtheTTCplot · 18/12/2019 21:25

I hate ICs yet love them! I love that they are cheap and you can test as many times as you like but I hate that you get a sliver of a line and then obsess over it knowing full well that it’s too early for a line.

And then you cry because you promised you wouldn’t test early and here you are 7DPO testing, squinting and tweaking again! But you also cry because you want it sooooo much to be a positive!

Im due on boxing day or beyond and feeling pathetic today. I felt the tears pricking at my eyes and pretty much every conceivable moment today!

Ginge35 · 18/12/2019 20:03

Thank you @Makeafamily19 much appreciated for educating me! 👍🏻

Makeafamily19 · 18/12/2019 19:56

Hi @Ginge35 yes DPO is days past ovulation.
AF - Aunt Flo/ period
DTD - did the deed/ sex
DH/ DP - darling husband / partner
OPK - ovulation prediction kit/ sticks
POAS - pee on a stick/ pregnancy test

can't think of any others right now 🤣

Ginge35 · 18/12/2019 19:33

I’m brand new to this site, so all these abbreviations, I’m seriously struggling to understand what everyone is saying!
If 7DPO is 7 days post ovulation then I’m the same. Period due Christmas Day!
I’m having waves of nausea and stomach cramps but I’m taking it with a pinch of salt as apparently no one gets symptoms this early as I may not (if I’ve conceived) have implanted yet
This is our first time trying. Never been pregnant before so whilst I paid attention in sex Ed this is a whole other ball game! Just feel helpless! Anyone else feel the same? 😭😭😭
