Anyone looking to start TTC in New Year?

Join here please! I’m still taking my pill at the moment but current packet runs out on 7th Jan so planning to start then but not really track anything officially. I’ve been reading up about conception vitamins and going to buy some this week to start taking after new year- does anyone have recommendations for particular brands?
Will be my first but partners 2nd, very nervous but excited at the same time. No idea what to expect but hoping to have some ladies in the same situation to chat to!

@yoomoo Sore boobs and vivid dreams have always been a sign for me. I never dream so found t really odd to suddenly be!

My boobs are so painful today and DD just wants cuddles because she feel rotten, but then constantly elbows them!

@RBSK1 I can see a faint line there, did you use FMU? if not maybe take tomorrow and see then?

So, took the plunge and took a test today, got this very faint response. Did another one an hour or so later and it’s a similarly faint line.

Should I wait a few days or a few weeks to do another?????

@yoomoo so funny you say that, I've been having crazy vivid dreams too. I stopped my pill 1 day before you so we must be on par for symptoms. My boobs still feel swollen and sore

@yoomoo I've been symptom spotting like mad. Even though I tried not to. Really bloated today and had an ache in my lower back this afternoon. I've had a few dizzy spells when I've got up quickly.
I've also had some little stomach twinges/pains occasionally during the last 24hrs. But they feel like they're near my belly button.
I've also been a bit short tempered with DH, but to be fair he has been a bit annoying Grin

Hi all, just catching up! Wow I’ve been away for a few days and we’ve got 3 potential BFPs! I can definitely see lines on all of them!

Congrats @lastonetime @switcharoo and @rachTTC how do you all feel? Think there’s some more tests being done over next few days Smile

Not much by way of update from me, think I ovulated last week based on the OPKs so I could be anything from 7DPO to 10DPO but hard to know really as no AF at all since stopping the pill on 17th December. So I might be in a TWW but not sure!
Did a test on Saturday which was negative as expected but the last few days I’ve been absolutely wiped out, have developed a sore throat & headache, keep having dizzy spells when walking, very emotional, sore boobs and I’m having the most vivid dreams! Probably all a total coincidence but wondering what could be going on. I’ll probably do another test at the weekend, I’ve got a load of cheapies on amazon as not sure I want to pay out for the others at this stage Grin

How is everyone else getting on?

I think I'll try to hold off till at least Friday, I'm due AF on Monday and have spent far too much already on tests and it's only month 1 of trying!

@switcharoo I've heard that about Sainsbury's tests too, if the line is to one side, maybe try a different brand of test?

All I have to report is that i can taste blood today and I haven't slept properly in a week! But I think I'm just going a bit mad as I'm sure that was I had was a short AF rather than anything else!

@lastonetime yes they've got colour definitely blue lines not grey or just indents but they're sainsburys and I know a lot of people get evaps on them

Okay so caved because my boobs are agony!!!
Been up nearly all night for two days in a row with a poorly DD but I don't think I'm going insane and seeing things?!

9dpo now so still early but can't resist testing, both done today at lunch and this evening so not fmu, look like positioning of evaps but I've never had this and had a few bfn on these tests before

@lastonetime Yes do tell!! My boys didn't show up until the day before AF but my last pregnancy (MC) showed at 9dpo. I'm 9dpo tomorrow but I'm not testing yet 🙈I'll wait until 12 at least ....if I can help it!

So I had a look over my Clue app, can't believe I've been using it religiously for nearly 5 years!!
For both my previous pregnancies (one successful & one not) I didn't get my positive pregnancy test until 12 DPO even though I did test early.

So I'm going to wait until Saturday because that will be my 12Days. Otherwise I'll just be gutted when there might be no need

I know I'll be disappointed if it's negative but it's still quite early
