Anyone looking to start TTC in New Year?

Join here please! I’m still taking my pill at the moment but current packet runs out on 7th Jan so planning to start then but not really track anything officially. I’ve been reading up about conception vitamins and going to buy some this week to start taking after new year- does anyone have recommendations for particular brands?
Will be my first but partners 2nd, very nervous but excited at the same time. No idea what to expect but hoping to have some ladies in the same situation to chat to!

Decided to have a look back on this to see how all the other TTCs were doing. Congrats @yoomoo and everyone else!

I'm 17+4 now with a little wriggler with, according to sonographer and midwife, "ridiculously long legs!!"

Hi all, hope you are doing well. Just a little update from me, got my BFP this morning 😊 had a very faint line on a clearblue on Friday but had some FRERs arrive yesterday.
Hope all the earlier BFPs are still doing well and the TTCers are on your way to BFPs!

My ovulation day is tomorrow but thinking might wait till next month as not sure stress and anxiety will be beneficial to it happening.

Hi all, just catching up been super busy at work putting contingency plans together for my team! Been totally hectic but we did manage to put full effort into fertile week last week I went for it with a clearblue monitor and all the vitamins! Next AF due around 26/27th March. Not worried about coronavirus really, I’m not in one of the high risk categories and haven’t heard of pregnant people being affected. Did have a good laugh the other day though that people would assume the baby was a lockdown one 😂 hope everyone is doing well!

Having the worse AF in a long time, got migraine and the worst cramps going. Here's hoping dont have to deal with AFs much longer!

Hi all! Been away as I was on my honeymoon and just enjoying time with my DH. So lovely to see some BFPs while I was gone! Congrats to all!
I finally had my first natural period since coming off the pill mid December (on the first day of honeymoon so typical) due to ovulate around 6th March 🥳

@newbie0818 5 weeksish, tomorrow I think. Still so early! I don't 'feel' pregnant and didn't last time either so I don't think that's a sign either haha!

@EffRam really? That’s a bit more hopeful! I’ll have to wait and see I suppose. I don’t “feel different” or anything, so I’m just trying to keep my mind occupied and not think about it for the next week or so.

How far along are you now?

@newbie0818 loads of watery discharge was Def a sign for me in both pregnancies but can't remember when it started, so I would still keep hope!

I’m currently 5dpo and I posted on another thread as I’ve had LOADS of creamy white (more watery) cm throughout today, which doesn’t normally happen. They said it’s probably a bad sign :(

Currently 3DPO & CD33 - I've just realised we are away with DPs family when I can test 😩 think I'll have to wait until we get home

@EffRam definitely I’ve hardly thought about it today, on the train home now so catching up! It just shows that each pregnancy is different, I’m keeping everything crossed but if it doesn’t work out this month I have my fancy new thermometer to try next month, it’s still in the amazon package in case I can send it back though

9DPO today! I’m tempted to test from tomorrow but I don’t think I will as I’ll just be disappointed to see a negative.

@yoomoo Hi! Probably a good time for work busy-ness to keep your mind occupied! I'm feeling pretty good, some moments of nausea but that's kinda reassuring.It's a funny time this first bit just waiting for more confirmation! Weird taste sensations are definitely a symptom so I'll keep my fingers crossed!

With my first baby I got a positive 4 days before my period was due, at about 8/9DPO, but this time I didn't get a positive until the day of so just shows they're all different! BBT is reliable as long as you take it exactly the same time after same amount of sleep etc, but it definitely helped me pinpoint ovulation.

Good luck @Lola871 we had same issue as my husband often doesn't get in from work until 1/2am and I am up at 6 with our son so just had to put in the effort haha! We were both laughing about how unsexy it became...!

@yoomoo due very end of September! We are very excited when I do manage to get some sleep! I'd forgotten how tiring the first trimester is and with a toddler in tow!

I do try and check in every so often, wishing everyone luck on their journeys 💜

Oh @lastonetime thank you for coming back how lovely to see your little heartbeat there. When are you due? How exciting!
@Newbie0818 I couldn’t get to grips with OPKs to be honest, I’ve bought a BBT thermometer for next month if I haven’t managed to fall pregnant this month. Going to give that a go instead as from what I’ve read that can be more reliable. Fingers crossed for you!
@Lola871 we’ve had the same struggle in getting it done lots due to work, I am often super tired in the evenings but having to find the energy for baby making

Anyway my update I think I am 8DPO today (nothing scientific to base that on just going by my app) I think AF is due on 1st March so going to test then if it doesn’t show up, I’ve got a feeling I’m not going to be one of the lucky people to get a BFP before period is due!
Totally symptom spotting at the moment, all day I’ve had the most awful taste in my mouth kind of sour- it’s even making tea taste awful which I’m gutted about I made DP smell my breath earlier as I was convinced there must be something but he couldn’t smell anything. Even chewing gum doesn’t help. I didn’t have it last month, hope it’s not just hormones! Also had backaches and stomach cramps on and off.
I just want to know, too impatient for this

Congrats to the new BFPs! I'm just going into fertile week of my second cycle of TTC, so will be trying to get plenty of DTD in! It's difficult to fit in sometimes as we both work a lot but trying to put the effort in at the right times!

Well I went to the docs and they’re going to do a blood test to see if I am actually ovulating, but I have to wait until day 21 of my next cycle. Fingers crossed I did ovulate yesterday and won’t need to go because of baby dust 🤷🏼‍♀️🤞🏼✨
