Anyone keep getting BFN on FRER before AF but were actually pregnant?

I'm probably clutching at straws here, but I really feel pregnant this month (similar signs to when I was PG with DS), but got a second BFN on FRER this morning and I'm only 2 days away from AF.
I don't know when I ovulated this month but had what I think was implantation bleeding on Saturday (7th) - see my other post.
So what I wanted to know is, has anyone else had BFN on a FRER before due on AF but then got a BFP later?
Just that I would have thought I would get a + on FRER this close to AF, so does that mean I'm out this month?

Thanks xx

@CatEnabler that's really good they are covering all bases! My Dr basically said they wouldn't worry about a missed period and maybe test again in a week (when I would be 3 weeks late!). I was told to ring up Wednesday for them so hopefully it's the same for you. Ahh I hope you don't have to go through IVF! How long have you been trying for? Xx

@Katnissx yeah mine included that to, all in all it was thyroid/ hormones/ beta HCG/ diabetes/ plus full blood count. The nurse who gave me the slip covered all bases bless her! How long do we have to wait before results? I always forget to ask....I think it's 2 wks isn't it? I said to DH this evening I bet we end up having to go down the IVF route and have twins when previously I'd always thought that'd be the worst thing ever! Funny how life turns out BlushGrinXx

Katnissx · 27/12/2019 19:11

@CatEnabler how funny, I had bloods done today too (not for HCG, but for thyroid and iron etc).
@Posierosy unfortunately that sounds like a chemical pregnancy 😔 sorry x

Im now 2 days late and tested this morning and got another bfn
I know im probably not pregnant but cant get that first bfp out of my head :( x

CatEnabler · 27/12/2019 11:15

@Katnissx thanks 😁 I heard somewhere you can get a high ov test reading before your AF... But I didn't lol! Going for my blood test today. Xx

Katnissx · 26/12/2019 23:37

@CatEnabler yay for AF! (Don't say that very often!)
I'm still not sure what exactly is going on with me, I had pink spotting from Sunday for 3 days and gone back to normal CM today :S seeing as my most recent periods have been quite heavy and lasting 18 days this is really weird for me! Also got high ovulation test today (not peak just high), but still BFNs (haven't been able to stop testing 🤦‍♀️) would be CD47 for me if that wasn't AF (which it didn't seem like). Weird weird weird! xx

I’m CD34 and had 2 BFN on CB early detection, last one took this morning (had FX for Christmas miracle haha). Longest cycle I’ve had is 39 days since TTC (last month was 31days) so could just be a late one this month. Had 2 day spotting CD24/25 so really hoped this was the month for success but now I think I’m just late.. gotta love the body and it’s ability to play tricks!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas anyway! 🎄✨

CatEnabler · 25/12/2019 21:26

YES!!!! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT, AUNT FLOW!!!!!!

I had a clear BFN on a FRER, then the day after I tested again and got a faint line on a FRER and a pregnant on a digital clear blue Smile

Baby dust not duet Confused

CatEnabler · 18/12/2019 21:18

@Katnissx Yes making decisions always helps doesn't it. Lots of baby duet to you for the future xxx

I'm so worried I've got early menopause Sad My mum had it at 40, I'm 32... AF feels like it's gone on a sabbatical.... I was tempted to get the test done today but I'm run down so I'd get false inflammation results.

It's so bitter sweet...just as I start TTCing...this happens 😢

Katnissx · 17/12/2019 23:19

@CatEnabler I'm glad they are doing bloods but that is annoying you have to wait!
I'm now 5 days late, no sign of AF lots of EWCM. FRER this morning BFN. I've decided to stop testing now and just wait for AF to come. I'm almost certain I'm not pregnant. Think I may have had a chemical (see other post) due to symptoms and possible early positive test. Feel glad to have made a decision about it as I was driving myself mad being in limbo! Xx

I'm now a day late for AF and testing negative.. will keep updated if AF comes or get my BFP.. good luck to you xx

CatEnabler · 17/12/2019 17:51

@Katnissx How are you doing?

I've been given a blood test for lots of things: thyroid, PCOS, menoP, pregnancy etc etc

But I can only have it done on the third day of my period.... Problem is, who knows when that's going to be! So have been told to wait for another month then get it done... 😢

Katnissx · 12/12/2019 19:57

@Chefwifelife sorry to hear about your EMC x

Katnissx · 12/12/2019 19:57

@CatEnabler When are you planning on testing again? Good luck! Maybe see tour GP next week if still BFN and see if they'll draw blood?
I'm testing with a FRER in the morning but not feeling very optimistic 😣

10-8 days over...my app initially thought I was due on day 37...but I've always thought 40 is my average xx

Chefwifelife · 12/12/2019 13:43

Sorry I can’t see a line on that one. I got a bfn on an frer then had af then got a positive on an frer a week later which went on the be able EMC.

Katnissx · 11/12/2019 20:55

Thanks for the reply @CatEnabler, how many days over are you? Fingers crossed for you x
