Testing Christmas Day / Boxing Day

Hi
TTC baby number one . I had EWCM yesterday , so thinking I’ll probably ovulate today or tomorrow ?
Going by Ovia I should be testing Christmas Day, but I think I’ll wait til Boxing Day just in case it’s a BFN I don’t want to feel down on a festive happy day !

Anyone joining me ? Or around that time , maybe Xmas Eve ?

I’m only about 7 DPO too and I am sure I’ve had a few symptoms but trying not to think about it . I’m gonna try and hold off until Boxing Day 😭💕

I’m pretty sure I see a line and really want to crack out a FRER but I’m pretty sure it will be negative!

@whyhaveidonethis I'm 7DPO also and absolutely dying to test! So silly as I know even if I was pregnant it's too early but it's killing me not to test today 😂

I'm 4+1 if my app is right, I thought I wasn't due until Christmas hence joining this thread but I had a bit of spotting the week before which I had discounted and shouldn't have by the looks of things as I've been testing positive since the weekend 🥰 good luck to you all! Xx

My resting heart rate has jumped from 62bpm to 68bpm today, is it a sign?!? 😂

Your CM changes once you have ovulated yes @ItsEmily so if it's now creamy you have probably ovulated. It does vary per person though and you can have random CM anytime.
Only way to really know is to use OPKs and/ or temping (your temp spikes when you ovulate then stays higher).

hi op, sorry havn't had the chance to reply. tbh i really have no idea. i got incredibly lucky 1st time... took a guess i would be ovulating as i was mid cycle, had sex twice a day for 2 days & two weeks later had a bfp lolXmas Grin taking a chance this time two as i have no idea when im ovulating but hoping it wasn't before the 8thSad could very well be messed up this month as last period was 3 weeks late ( happens every once in a while.. stress i guess lol) so not really sure when i will ovulate this month

due to test 23rd or xmas eveSmile already have a 2 year old and spending xmas with the inlaws this year. 1st cycle ttc... got pregnant 1st time with ds so really joping is the same this time but also know would be very very lucky if that actually happendedXmas Smile

1dpo today! Finally in the TWW! 13 day LP so trying to work out when I can start testing!

Started 6DPO last cycle. I think I can hold off until 9dpo (out with work), or do I really really try to hold out until Christmas Day? But then theres copious amounts of alcohol on Christmas Eve.

I half expect to come on with a bang on Christmas Day.

I’d say you could use a First Response Early one, they detect pregnancy about 5 days before your period is due if you get the sensitive ones xx

@LosingtheTTCplot If I get a bfp, i think im going to say I've taken some cold medicine so can't drink. Will be glugging lemonade and tea.

@Peach7744 really really sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Test when you feel is right but maybe wait until 28th/29th as it's after Christmas and if that's when af due as it's likely your body will need some time to recover.

In feeling really ill today, think I have caught the flu. Throat is so sore but I strangely can't stop eating as I feel like eating is soothing it!

I had a miscarriage on the 4th November at 10 weeks 💔 started my period on the 30th November so now on day 12 of my cycle. My period should be due again on the 28/29th December so I am unsure when to test and what the most accurate tests to use are? I don't want to test too early and feel sad over Christmas but know it will be hard to resist!

@Whyhaveidonethis whoops , too soon. And no ewcm so I hope DTD yesterday gave us more of a chance , as well as Sunday too. Only time will tell. Onto the TWW 🤞🏼

I think I'm ovulating today. Got a nearly positive Opk this morning so will see tonight. Dts yesterday and this morning but won't see DP until Friday now so hopefully I'll be covered.

@LosingtheTTCplot luckily (maybe?) I’m not a drinker so it won’t be an issue for me , but can you sneakily have a non alcoholic drink somehow ? Or make some kind of excuse that you’re on codeine for a sore back or something and say you’re not allowed drink ? Lol

I'm sure of when to test... all mixed up cycle wise you think I've bought dodgy ovulation tests too 🙈 I'm going to most likely test in the new year.
Impatiently waiting for AF... according to my app I'm due Xmas eve if it's right. Who knows 😪
