Anyone else testing next week?

AF is due on the 12th for me so not too long to wait to find out. I have irregular cycles though so it can sometimes be hard to track.

Is anyone else testing next week and like to join in with a chat for support? (And madly symptom spot 🤣)

I'm 12dpo and just did a cheap test and think I can see something Hmm it's a freedom brand one though and I'm very aware that they sometimes have false positives so not getting my hopes up. Can anyone else see anything or is it just me hoping? 🙈

Anyone else testing next week?

Hi ladies been reading and wanted to participate
Can I join, TTC baby number 3

Came off the mini pill a week before my last cycle
#1 cycle of trying, last cycle started 17th of November so on day 25 of my cycle so far hoping for a bfp this month. But I do know it is unlikely as it only the first month and I am older and gained weight since last pregnancy.

How do you ladies all know when you ovulate? I have no clue ?

Also how many days past ovulation should you really test at the earliest ?

Thank you Smile

relaxingorchid · 11/12/2019 18:22

Hi girls,

May I join please?

We are TTC #2, 2nd month of trying after having my coil removed.

Desperately trying to wait to POAS until Monday when AF is due (may have sneakily done one today and convinced myself I saw a line).

Just need some help waiting it out!!!

Em4815 · 11/12/2019 17:53

@Daisy8008 Yeah could be - just boobs not usually this sore and don't usually get anything a week in advance! But as this is first try I may just be symptom spotting 😂 We shall soon see I guess 🤞🏻

Daisy8008 · 11/12/2019 16:35

@Em4815 hope it's not AF for you!

Em4815 · 11/12/2019 14:31

@AfterGlow87 - I've ordered them too! Was going to wait to see what happened after AF due on 17th but have had really sore boobs and possible IB (I'm 12dpo and just found some brown blood in knickers - sorry TMI warning there! 😂) so looking to confirm either way before a couple of Christmas parties coming up!

This is first time so I have no clue what I'm doing! Didn't even know IB was a thing (so reading everyone's posts is really helpful thank you!)

K8113 · 11/12/2019 14:24

@AfterGlow87 thank you!!! :) x

AfterGlow87 · 11/12/2019 14:06

@K8113 I used the clear blue ones this month as I liked the definitive smiley face! Haven’t used the other ones.

Just ordered the 2 pack of FRER on Amazon even though I said I wouldn’t!

K8113 · 11/12/2019 13:13

After this mornings slight disappointment, I was wondering if anyone can recommend ovulation strips if so which ones or the digital ones? Never used them but want to use them for this cycle :)

Thanks so much

TunnocksTcake · 11/12/2019 12:47

@sabtom try to hold off a few more days, its likely implantation hasnt even happened yet. It most often occurs at 8/9DPO. Also those ICs arent as sensitive as they say they are apparently, FRER are the most sensitve.

Good luck!

sabtom · 11/12/2019 12:30

7 or 8dpo and a BFN Sad used an IC which has a sensitivity of 10mIU. Promised myself not to be too disappointed if it was BFN as it's still early days I guess, but it's not easy. Still felt like a punch in the stomach seeing just one pink line.

TunnocksTcake · 11/12/2019 11:57

I wish I could just switch my brain to not believe its going to happen! Its the cheese I am focussing on, and we have made a gorgeous christmas cake with amaretti biscuits and Disaronno in it and I would LOVE to be able to eat it!!! Obvs not as much as I would love a bfp but still might soften the blow.

I might keep my frers in the car when I get them, then I can avoid FMU testing and I'm normally quite good at not testing later in the day as there's no point if early. That way I will have them when I need them but can keep them out of my mind!!

I'm having lots of niggly 'cramps', nothing like AF today. I have had these before though and BFN, only 6/7 DPO today so cant be anything interesting yet...

Bexy1393 · 11/12/2019 11:49

I just tested today at 7dpo... obviously BFN... it's like I can't resist haha.

I have had a few symptoms. Sore boobs, nausea (could just be in my head), really bad insomnia and my wee smells really strong for some reason so wondering if this could be down to increased sense of smell?

Sore boobs could be down to the fact that I'm still breastfeeding my 13 month old who has cut another two teeth so keeps biting me!

Not too long to wait! Why does time go so slow when you're waiting to test?! X

Pwd1 · 11/12/2019 11:12

@Daisy8008 it's incredibly difficult. Mentally ruling it out is a lot more difficult than it sounds isnt it. Christmas drinks would be a bonus, we have a work night out on 20th and theyll clock on immediately if I arent drinking. Oh that would be a handy skill wouldnt it. My mum was the opposite, 4 of 6 of us she didnt know until at least 8-12 weeks. The others were twins and there was no denying that one apparently

Daisy8008 · 11/12/2019 11:04

@Pwd1 it's so hard not to. My symptoms have all but gone today so I'm mentally ruling out December to try and soften the blow. And then I can also enjoy Christmas drinks! I do genuinely believe you can get symptoms super early though, my mum always told me she was certain the next day after conceiving me and my brother (not a skill I've inherited sadly!)

Pwd1 · 11/12/2019 10:45

@Daisy8008 driving myself mental with symptom spotting already! More so because I've had absolutely no symptoms of either being pregnant or AF being on her way.

Its Christmas, it's never too early 😁

Daisy8008 · 11/12/2019 10:41

Welcome @Pwd1! Ha it's never too early to symptom spot ;-)

Sounds good @Beku94 keep us posted.

Is it too early for a mince pie?

Daisy8008 · 11/12/2019 10:39

Ah I'm sorry @K8113 but yes at least you can enjoy Christmas nights out now and then start the new year fresh!

@TunnocksTcake thanks for the Amazon tip! I'll get on that now.

TunnocksTcake · 11/12/2019 10:28

PSA: FRERs are on offer on Amazon at the moment, £5.95 for 2! i just bought 2 packs to stock up for next week Xmas Grin

Pwd1 · 11/12/2019 10:23

Can I join? I'm due on the 18th I think. This two is already killing me and my partners been far too optimistic. My best friend found out shes pregnant this morning(2nd child) and it's a little deflating. Still excited for her though!

Beku94 · 11/12/2019 09:50

Morning ladies, how we all doing? I'm having the strangest symptoms and I'm trying so hard not to spot them! Yesterday at 10dpo I had lightning pains down first my left leg, then my right, along with af type cramping (booo) and TMI warning.. Snotty cm 😂 so I was like I'm out.. But this morning took a supermarket cheapie with fmu and was like its neg, went back to it at least after 10 mins and had a faaaaaaint positive. Plus feeling sicky and crampy this am, so I don't know wtf is happening with me😂

TunnocksTcake · 11/12/2019 09:32

Morning Ladies, you have been making me giggle Xmas Grin
I am only 6/7DPO and just want to fast forward another week!! Have loads of creamy CM the last couple of days but its too early to mean anything so will just have to be sodding patient!
Good luck those that are ready to test!

K8113 · 11/12/2019 08:34

My AF arrived this morning (early) Gutted BUT positive attitude prevails ... it's Christmas and a couple of drinks at the works Xmas doo and another chance to try in a couple of weeks :) they do say a lot of babies are conceived in December :) going to stay on this tread as routing for all you girls and have my fingers crossed for you all x

Daisy8008 · 11/12/2019 08:30

I did another this morning (madness). No luck.

Daisy8008 · 11/12/2019 08:28

@Beth804 I can see it too. I'll keep everything crossed for you!
