Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

@Devgirl31 @fayy123 @NCON @MrsKJW19

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

Hello guys! Need some help! Isit positive that a OPK will not pick up your LH surge! I’ve been testing from CD8 and have not got a positive OPK yet! Last month I got my positive on CD12. This is the closest to a positive I’ve had so far! And this was on CD11! (Thursday) what do you guys think?

How many days past ovulation are you? Did you do 3days in a row? Or just 2? X

Pheww test was negative. Still having what could be pregnancy or AF symptoms. This has been going on since I had the brown/pink spotting, on Dec 4th.

@Healthypositivity no symptoms other than sensitive boobs which isnt like me!

@Lucy5546 no iv no children yet either, im the same, was on pill 9 years.. when i think about it its actually crazy that we're allowed to take it for so long x

Hi @Diamond94 i usually am a chilled person anyway but since coming off the pill i was so anxious. So i took a break an we decided to take a more chilled approach. It will happen when it happens.
No children for us yet iv been on the pill for about 7 years so this is all new to me. What about you?

@Healthypositivity its sperm meets egg plan. Basically means DTD every other day then every day for three to four days when ovulating.

1st night of SMEP ✅

Will OPK tomorrow as haven’t done one today as away, not sure whipping out a pissy stick is the most romantic of things! Lol.

Expected to OV CD11/12 (Wednesday or Thursday) so will DTD Tuesday again.

Lol Just took a test now and it’s still very negative. How many times did you BD so far ? Hopefully I’ll ovulate tmmrw! And I get a positive OPK😤

@fayy123 i dont actually think it was positive just high.. i done and opk tonight and its getting darker.. hopefully you'll ovulate tomorrow 🤞🏼

Ohhh okay. What CD was that when you got a positive OPK? And was you testing at different times each time? I keep forgetting to test at the same time! My app says I was ovulating yesterday. And the flo app says I’m ovulating today lol I can feel cramps tho

Hey ladies mind if i join.? Cycle 3 off the pill. Range between 28 and 30 days. Last two months i have stressed my self out so taking a more relaxed approach this month. Trying SMEP. Should be no problem for us as we regularly DTD anyway so i just stocked up on some fancy lingerie haha. Cycle day 9 here and i already feel so much more relaxed not tracking anythin this month

@fayy123 i got a dark opk on the 30th but thought it wasn't positive as my app says tomorrow is ovulation..
im definitely not getting my hopes up.. you guys might not even be able to see a line 🙈

Did you get a positive OPK yet? I don’t think I’ve caught this month I’m on CD13 and only BD 7,8,12 so far 🙈 no positive OPK yet x
