Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

@Devgirl31 @fayy123 @NCON @MrsKJW19

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

I’m the same as well! I’ve been feeling similar! Felt cramping last week but prob only means period is coming! I’m due on the 21st 😒🙈

@ChampooPapi hehe yeah I feel amazing today! So productive! 😂
I still have loads of creamy cm and felt a bit nauseous and headachey earlier today. Also had cramps... am 8do and trying to remind myself that I had all this last month and it was nothing so just telling myself it's all good signs my body is doing what it should. Will know either way soon enough.

Also the feeling the day post hangover is pretty good as you feel so much better in comparison to the previous day 🦸

@TunnocksTcake ha lol, I know what you mean as regards kind of enjoying the hangover lolling. But obviously only if you can luxuriate in it without work, god you must have felt like weeping in those pyjamas when you were finally horizontal in front of the telly Brew

Hi, can I join?
We are TTC #3 had a MC in Oct 2018 after a year of TTC then another MC in Nov this year. Not had AF since that so if I get a bfn this month in going to give SMEP a go - nothing to lose!

@ChampooPapi that sounds heavenly! I'm sooo happy to be home from work in my pjs now! Ha we all had pizza for lunch at work, and had baked potatoes for dinner 😋
Feel like I might fall asleep any second, had to keep getting up to walk around at work so I didn't fall asleep! I do quite enjoy a hangover sometimes!

Oh wow so there's a real mix of those of us in the follicular phase and those in their TWW! That's so exciting!!

Everyone please keep this thread updated.. I know it might sound silly but I scour MN for positive stories and positive HPTs as it really gives me so much hope. Now that I'm a real part of a thread (instead of just being a lurker like I sometimes am!) I'm really excited to see who has fallen PG this month and excited also to follow our journeys :)

TTC 3, we have two daughters already

CD 18

Cycle #2 after missed miscarriage in October at 12 week scan

Dtd yesterday afternoon. However over did it with the man last night and the hangover is REAL today. I'm done this cycle baby making sex wise, closed for business unless for pleasure for the rest of the month.

Im not sweating it this month, just trying to have fun and live life

CD13/2dpo. AF/BFP due on 24/25th December.
DTD on CD8, CD9, CD10, CD11 and CD12. Peak OPK on CD10.

29 Years old, DH is 32
TTC #1
Lost track of what cycle due to MMC etc but coming up to a year in total trying
CD 25/ 9DPO, due AF/ BFP around 18th / 19th so nearly there now!!
Had my work xmas party last night and may have been coerced into too many drinks so feeling a bit sorry for myself and hoping I haven't ruined all my chances. It's so tricky to know if its ok or not, who knows!

24 years old.. DH is 27 TTC #1 and first cycle TTC. Attempted to follow SMEP but couldn’t. So far I’ve BD CD7,8,12,14,15,17 ( only a little bit on 17 According to DH😂🙈). Currently on CD 19.
And haven’t done it since 17.. got the flu! Not very hopeful this month could have done more! AF due on the 25th so in a week and a half! Good luck to everyone! X

31, DH 29
TTC #1
Cycle 2
CD 15 - have followed to the book so far BD 8,10,12,14 then got my static smiley yesterday so plan on BD today and tomorrow too and one last hurrah on Monday to complete the plan 😆
AF/BFP due between 27-29th

So i came off pill end of october, had withdrawal bleed 4 weeks later, and just finished what i think is my first AF
I am 25, DP is 23
TTC #1
Will count this month as my first proper month trying

Hey, how's everyone doing? I think it would be useful for everyone to update their CD and SMEP journey so far. I keep scrolling through the posts then lose track of who's said what!

So I'll start:

27, DH 28
TTC #1
CD8 - BD tonight and start OPK testing Sunday
Long and irregular cycles
Referred to fertility clinic after missed miscarriage in October

Will be easier to keep track this way maybe :)

I’m just going to stop testing now, will continue to try and DTD until the weekend and stop! As my period will be due the week after lol so there won’t be any point! No I don’t use any apps to put tests up! I’m always using flo and period tracker to track my cycles and fertile window. Remind me how long you’ve been TTC for? X

I’ve tried lots of DTD, not much DTD, never know what is enough or if I should do more.

It really is a roulette! Hoping this is the month though as been a little more relaxed as tbh I wind myself up each cycle and always disappointment! However won’t stop me testing early and posting squinters! Haha 😂

Do you have an app to put your tests on?

Heyy Yh I’m due on the 25th as well! Ive done CD7,8, 12,14,15 so far! Haven’t got a positive OPK yet.. and don’t think that’s enough BD tbh lol so not getting my hopes up this month! X

Due 25th! Ovulation was yesterday, DTD the last 4 days and plan on seducing hubby tonight as well and maybe tomorrow!

Hubby is tired and I’m like a nympho at the moment. Think he’s taken aback by all my sexual demands! 😂

How you getting on?

Lost complete track of SMEPping tbh as I OV early.

I’ll DTD tonight and tomorrow and hopefully covered all bases then. Xx
