Hi everyone, just making this thread as it seems a few of us will be trying SMEP to TTC! Adding these lovely ladies in from another thread but I hope everyone feels free to join! All welcome :)

@Devgirl31 @fayy123 @NCON @MrsKJW19

Some stats about me:

TTC #1
27 years old, DH is 28 years old
Missed miscarriage in October 2019 at 7+2 weeks
Still in that cycle (no AF yet)
Long and irregular cycles, some anovulatory
Suspected low progesterone/hypothyroidism (I think this based on symptoms, not diagnosed yet!)

Hope we can all provide support for each other in this crazy TTC journey.

After my sliver of a line yesterday I had a BFN this morning and have the worst AF cramps going, making me feel awfully nauseous!

Alcoholic beverages this evening!

Awwww sorry about that!its annoying when you get excited and then end up not getting a BFP 😔 onwards and upwards. Remember everything happens for a reason we’ll get it soon! Let’s keep trying X

Just thought i would update.. so after a line on my FRER, i got a faint line on IC, done another FRER next morning and BFN! Done 3 clear blues, 1 at night 2 in morning! All had a faint line... but iv had 4BFN last night and today on FRER and clear blue... so think iv either had a chemical or dodgy tests 😓😓

Yeah sorry I'm rubbish at keeping up/trying to reply to everyone, @danielasummer is doing a fab job! I was almost going to test as I had some symptoms I don't normally get, but then I had a big temp drop this morning so think AF may show up a few days early and I possibly have a UTI, which explains some of the symptoms!

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

I tested Yesterday and today (only 8dpo). Definitely a line there I think but it’s too faint to call it whether its the start of something or just an evap.

Top test is yesterday and bottom is today’s.

@danielasummer I got my positive OPK this morning so just about to enter the TWW (not quite 2 weeks for me tho as I usually only have a 9 day LP) don't discount yourself yet just because you haven't been able to stick to the start of it, as long as you stick to every other day then every day if possible after the positive OPK you're certainly in with a chance! 'It only takes one time' lol. Last year we bought a house & then fell pregnant that month so fingers crossed it brings some luck for you like it did us! Sadly we lost our little boy neonatally earlier this year tho x

@Diamond94 sorry to hear about the negatives following your FRER, I was in exactly the same position last month it really messed with my head! Fingers crossed for you still tho!

Hi @Diamond94 ugh sorry to here you seem to be getting the run around this month. The more you stress or worry the less likely AF will appear on time. I know its easier said than done but try relax yourself until AF is due. When is it due? I am hoping i will not test this month until i am late. I dont think i could handle seeing a faint line then AF shows

I had the copper coil out Monday and have done ovulation tests every morning since then incase i ovulate early!
I am on CD7 due to DTD tonight as last time was Monday and trying to do it every 2 days, does anyone think i should skip tonight and wait until tomorrow CD8 like SMEP says?

@danielasummer thanks for thinking of me.. well after my positive FRER i done another FRER and IC the next morning, FRER negative and IC had a faint line.. i tested again this morning with FRER and clear blue and both negative 😓.. so iv either had a chemical or it was a dodgy test.. im just going to wait for late AF and im never testing early again 😫

Heyyyy! How are you? I’m on CD24. Period is due on Sunday.. well flo suddenly changed to saying it’s due tmmrw! Lol.. will only test if I miss my period! Congrats on the house btw xxx

Hi @danielasummer. Im good thank you. Fingers crossed that i ovulated when i think i did. But we are still going to DTD every other day to cover ourselves and for fun!! I am 2-3 DPO and feel nothing yet. My Birthday is 5th of jan.
Yes i was thinking sex was ok in TWW as so many people dont know they are pregnant then. One less thing for me to worry about 😂😂.
You haven't missed it yet so dont rule yourself out and just go will the flow. Congrats with the house BTW. Exciting times for you

@Lucy5546 hey how are you doing? You've DTD loads! Good on you! When's your birthday? I'm not due to ovulate around new years day so mid Jan for me! Also with regards to sex in the TWW.. I didn't even realise I was pregnant last time and we'd just got married so were having sex loads during the 'TWW'! Baby was fine up until 7.5 weeks so nothing to do with the sex we were having. I worried about this though and midwife said sex was fine throughout all of pregnancy x

@ChampooPapi hey, I hope so.. massively failed with SMEP so far haha! My only saving grace is that my cycles are average 38 days long. I've only BD on CD7 and CD11, now on CD13. You're so lovely, bless you Flowers feeling quite positive now seeing @TunnocksTcake BFP on here! How are you doing? Are you in the TWW now? Also hell yeah to orgasms! Definitely not spoken about enough!

@Bunny2006 hi lovely, I've also failed haha! Not DTD every other night at the mo as my DH is a teacher and is exhausted! Luckily I have super long cycles so no chance of O until maybe next week or week after. How are you getting on? Have you done a test or too early?

@Mrssendy hi lovely. Welcome! Smile how is SMEP going? I've heard the same with Pregnacare preconception pills. I'm on Zita West vitafem and DH on Zita West vitamen. Are you on any now?

So as for me, I feel as though I've failed so far haha. We BD on CD7 and CD11, now I'm on CD13. My cycles are long though (38 days) and OPKs negative so I know I haven't missed the boat this cycle. Hard to BD at the moment as my DH is a teacher and is exhausted. Also to add to the stress.. we've just bought a house (am I mad?!) hoping this doesn't impact TTC! Expected move in is Feb/March so hoping to be PG by then! I'll be able to get out of cleaning and moving then hopefully Wink

Thanks guys! I'm new off the implant so not sure yet. 1st drop was this morning but got all the usual pms symptoms so guessing AF will be here either tomorrow or the next day!

I just did another frer, cb digi and a cheap one step one and got negative on the cheapie but pregnant 1-2 on digi! 🤷🏻‍♀️ just in case anyone frets in the coming days/ weeks and testing with cheapies, it was stark white!
