Quite upset as the smileys don't have their Santa hats on yet.

AF arrived 2 days ago so I will probably be testing around 21st December (cycles are about 24 days)

Anyone else???

@TunnocksTcake @debbs77 I'm so excited for you! I'm sending sticky vibes your way!
For the first cycle ever, I'm actually not sure when I ovulated 🤷‍♂️ I'm actually feeling considerably less obsessive though, because I don't know which dpo I am. I use natural cycles, and it says I ovulated between CD 15 and 17, but I had a clear lh surge at midday on CD 16 so would assume it would happen at least a day after that. I guess CD 17 is most likely? I guess what matters is that that we totally sealed the deal in the bd department 😂 we actually high fived at how many times we'd managed to do it this cycle 😂 even if some of those times I would have rather been asleep
Currently AF due on 27th Dec but might do a cheeky frer Christmas day just in case I get a bfp from santa

debbs77 · 17/12/2019 14:28

To be honest, I'm not convinced that I'm not just seeing things, so will hold off on my excitement for a couple more days!

TunnocksTcake · 17/12/2019 13:47

@debbs77 they are definitely less sensitive so may take another few days to come up! Congrats on your positive though Thanks I am wondering when to try a digi! Thinking maybe tomorrow x

debbs77 · 17/12/2019 12:09

Are the tests that actually say pregnant/not pregnant, that you can also do early, any good???

I seem to have a very faint positive on cheap tests but a definite negative on more expensive ones.

I want to surprise my partner when I get a positive, and would rather have a nicer looking test!

TunnocksTcake · 17/12/2019 11:36

@Chlo04 Your solid smiley/ LH surge is 12 - 48 hours before ovulation. Most people ovulate the following day, so I would say you can safely assume the 9th was your O date, or the 10th if you are being cautious and don't want to test too soon!

chlo04 · 17/12/2019 11:31

Ladies can anyone help me work out how many days post ovulation I am if I got a solid smiley on clear blue ovulation tests on the 8th December? Please

HerondaleDucks · 17/12/2019 10:19

Congratulations @TunnocksTcake that's amazing. What a fantastic xmas present for you!!

TunnocksTcake · 17/12/2019 08:20

Thanks ladies
@Spark27 haha yeah I think the latter is what will happen! I'm going to go and buy alll the tests today and I have 3 frers left over so will do them tomorrow morning if I get a darker line on a frer first. Eeep so nervous!

LizzieLottie88 · 17/12/2019 08:14

Congratulations @TunnocksTcake!!

Spark27 · 17/12/2019 07:42

@TunnocksTcake, congratulations. Yay, a BFP. If it was me I'd like to say I'd test the next few days to see the line get stronger and then maybe do a digital at the weekend?
But who knows. I'd probably lose my head and go and buy ALL the tests now and do them one after another Grin

Mystie · 17/12/2019 07:26

@TunnocksTcake ahh amazing!! Huge congratulations a Christmas bean!! So happy for you xx

TunnocksTcake · 17/12/2019 07:09

Shit photo sorry ladies, they really are hard to capture on camera! When would you do a digital if you had a line like that?

TunnocksTcake · 17/12/2019 07:05

Ahh 12 dpo and temps still high and look! Please please be a sticky one! I am in shock right now!

Spark27 · 16/12/2019 20:28

I'm with you @LizzieLottie88
I'm feeling so bloated and had the odd few twinges all day and lower backache. But I'm not sure if I'm reading into things that I wouldn't notice any other month. I did another ovulation test and the line was still there but not as dark as this morning..... I think?! Not sure if it's a full negative for that or if I did earlier. Think I'm going to jump on my hubby tonight just in case.
Then I'll just have to wait and see what if anything does, or already has happened.

Fingers crossed for all you guys

LizzieLottie88 · 16/12/2019 20:16

Sorry, didn't proof read. Meant to write CAN see

LizzieLottie88 · 16/12/2019 20:15

I did a sainsburys test also just now (stupid time I know but couldn't help myself! Feel like I can't see the faintest start of a line from the middle but could also be me seeing what I want to see as if I take a photo there's absolutely nothing there. It's way too early but I'm just so bloated and getting lower back ache and odd twinge. Maybe I did ovulate earlier when I was supposed to? Or maybe I'm just due af soon. Who knows! I'll have to wait and see

Blondeandbroody · 16/12/2019 17:24

@LizzieLottie88 everything has been negative since that one tho so I'm not entirely sure what that line is! X

LizzieLottie88 · 16/12/2019 17:19

@Blondeandbroody I can see a faint line on yours. But they are easier to see in real life aren't they. I have some sainsburys tests, I'm sitting on my hands atm... Maybe do one in the morning... Just for kicks 🙈
Congratulations @debbs77! X

Blondeandbroody · 16/12/2019 17:16

@Lexie365 I can't see anything on yours I'm afraid x fingers crossed that it's just cause it's so early! X

Spark27 · 16/12/2019 17:09

@Lexie365 is it supposed to come up with a cross? I can't see it I'm afraid, but they are usually better to read in real life. I have seen some people asking about the reliability of the Sainsbury's ones for early detection. Hopefully it will get stronger over the next few days

Lexie365 · 16/12/2019 17:09

yes is SainsburysHmm but i used the other one few days ago and didnt get that. also used sainsburys brand when i got my bfp with ds1. ughh so confusingConfused deffo going to wait a while to test again so just have to have patience i guess lol

Spark27 · 16/12/2019 17:06

Congratulations @debbs77. Fingers crossed for a double celebration soon.

I've been stood in the kitchen eating my daughters leftover dinner (that she refused), staring at my period tracker app and doubting myself. Did I really ovulate earlier? Am I ovulating now? Argghhhh. Had a few FRER's delivered but don't want to waste them when it's probably too early to detect anyway. Should I just DTD tonight just incase. Although I feel so bloated I'm not sure I can get myself in the mood for it Grin

Blondeandbroody · 16/12/2019 17:02

@Lexie365 is that a Sainsbury's? That's what I got my weird shadow line on!

Honestly I wouldn't trust it just because since I got mine I have been negative on everything I've taken since!

this is itGrin

Anyone testing just before Christmas?
Blondeandbroody · 16/12/2019 16:37

@Lexie365 haha I've blown through so many tests already, due AF on Wednesday and latest been negative, I did have one that looked like a shadow line but all tests since been negative. My rule for next cycle is to have no tests in the house until I can realistically get an accurate result. I have had a right stock of tests this cycle and I've just used them even when I knew it was too early! Need to nip it in the bud!!

The urge to take them is too great and having them to hand is dangerous x
