Quite upset as the smileys don't have their Santa hats on yet.

AF arrived 2 days ago so I will probably be testing around 21st December (cycles are about 24 days)

Anyone else???

@IslayBrigid I've not checked my cervix this time. Tbh, mine is soooo low since I have birth, I wouldn't know what is high or low these days... the joys of childbirth 😂

IslayBrigid · 18/12/2019 12:03

Thank you @Peanutty86 and @Mystie! :)
I just did a quick trip to the ladies loo at work to check my cervix, just as you do haha... well it was actually to check my CM. But I found my cervix to be way lower than I've ever felt it ... got a bit of a shock! I really don't know what this means. I read that it stays high if pregnant but I also read that it can drop down before you have PG confirmed then go back up afterwards... anyway have never felt it so low so maybe it is a good sign? Or maybe it just means AF is coming. I don't make a habit of testing it but I did test it a few months ago as was buying a menstrual cup so needed to see how high it was to choose the right one. Then last few days when I test CM it's felt very high. Another body mystery!! CM is still creamy and wet but not heaps of it.
Any of you guys had cervix changes? haha

Mystie · 18/12/2019 11:47

@IslayBrigid I try and wait til 10dpo at least although I'm usually poas at 8dpo 🤣 I think the fact you have a cold is really good sign as pg hormones can cause you to be congested. I didn't have any cramping or bleeding but did have quite a significant drop in temperature at 8dpo which I suppose could've been implantation

Let us know how you get on with testing and get a frer if you can! Baby dust 💫

Mystie · 18/12/2019 11:44

@LizzieLottie88 they are really difficult to find, I think because they're an American brand? Although Amazon are doing 2 for £5.99 next day delivery so worth stocking up!

ArjaD · 18/12/2019 11:42

Hi all, I'm due to test on Sunday. Couldn't help myself though and had a bfn this morning at 10dpo. Trying not to lose hope but body is cramping like af is coming.

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 11:35

@LizzieLottie88 I've never seen them in shops either, but I would say that from all the tests that I've done, FRER were the best for early testing.
@IslayBrigid 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

IslayBrigid · 18/12/2019 11:33

@Peanutty86 hilarious haha. I think my OH will also be pretty surprised if it happens first time round; partly why we started in Dec was because of the idea that it can take a while, which of course it can. I guess time will tell! I've had a few very small twinges in what could be my womb but could also be my digestive tract and I've tried to dismiss as nothing coz it's not been obvious. I've also noticed sliiiiightly heightened sense of smell and I had some olives and cheese last night and they tasted REALLY odd. But again, it could all just be in my head! Think I will test tomorrow now haha. But I bet that even if I am pregnant it won't implant till like day 12 so I won't get a positive... who knows. Shall see.

LizzieLottie88 · 18/12/2019 11:33

@Mystie and @Peanutty86 I can see both your lines hurraaaaay! Let's hope you sprinkle your baby dust all around 😂
I haven't ever used a first response, they never have them in the shops I go to! Do you think they're better for early testing? I'm goin to try and out it out my mind this week, test on Christmas eve and enjoy some drinks if not! Xxx

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 11:28

@IslayBrigid I think I'm 9dpo... with my first I got a vvf line 10dpo. No symptoms this time, last time I had lots of cramping from 6dpo. I had the tiniest bit of cramping a couple of nights ago but dismissed it as nothing, I really thought our timing was completely off. It's our first month TTC #2, (#1 was first month too...). Husband will be disappointed as he was looking forward to lots of sex 😂

IslayBrigid · 18/12/2019 11:23

Wow so much has happened on here since I last posted :) HUGE congratulations @TunnocksTcake, @Mystie , @Peanutty86 and @debbs77 - I really hope the lines keep getting stronger and stronger! Can I check what days dpo you got your BFP? Did any of you have implantation cramping or bleeding??

I'm really not sure if this month is it for me... it's first month TTC so would be incredibly lucky if it happened so soon anyway. I've not really had any obvious symptoms apart from normal PMS and this horrible cold. But I'm thinking of testing tomorrow, 10dpo - what do you think? Should I do it? Or wait till 11/12dpo....

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 11:11

@Mystie it's not late. I'm amazed that mine has shown, didn't with my last pregnancy.
I did, but in my last pregnancy the lines were darker late afternoon for some reason. Like it would be darker at night and lighter the next morning 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mystie · 18/12/2019 11:06

@Peanutty86 12dpo which I think is quite late to pick up such a faint line on a frer but going to get some more now and test again later! Did you use fmu?

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 11:06

@Mystie oh and I guess congratulations are in order! To sticky beans for us! 🤞🏼

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 11:04

@Mystie yes!!! Mine is the same! How many dpo are you?

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 11:03

@chlo04 8 or 9.... had a bfn on a IC this morning but weirdly kept my little pot of wee on the side because I knew I'd be tempted to waste another FRER 😂 (5.99 for 2 on Amazon, I've stocked up with 3 packs so thought why not.....) def try a frer!

Mystie · 18/12/2019 11:03

Congrats @LizzieLottie88 and @Peanutty86 fingers crossed they are all Christmas sticky beans 🤞🏼

Mystie · 18/12/2019 11:01

Vvvf but it's a squinter I think! Does anyone see it?

Anyone testing just before Christmas?
chlo04 · 18/12/2019 11:00

@peachypetite OPPS!! AND CONGRATS!!!!

chlo04 · 18/12/2019 10:58

@Peanutty86 how many days post ovulation are you and what treat did you use if you don't mind me asking? I've used cheap clear blue ones (£1.99) 😂😂 and wondering if maybe I should by first response ?

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 10:54

@LizzieLottie88 thank you. I'm still in shock. Will wait a couple of days with a digi, with my first pregnancy they only showed positive when the line on the FRER was quite strong. Now how am I going to tell my husband??? 🙈

chlo04 · 18/12/2019 10:52

@Peanutty86 @LizzieLottie88 thanks ladies! Wouldn't it be lovely if all 3 of us god a BFP! YES LETS SEE A PICTURE! My line eyes are very good ( sometimes I can even see them wen they aren't even there!!) 😂😂

Try upload one to see it we can see!!

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 10:51

Peanutty86 · 18/12/2019 10:47

@LizzieLottie88 it's so faint in struggling to get it on camera. But it's definitely there and definitely pink 😳

LizzieLottie88 · 18/12/2019 10:34
