That's how long it's been now. I would happily never have sex again but I know by the middle of next week I will be singing the welsh national anthem in my head.

@Lammoshay is soooo shit isn't it. After two abnormal sperm results, my husband has been asked to do a third one. Why can't they just refer 😭😭😭 it takes at least a month for each analysis

Lammoshay · 13/01/2020 23:27

Can I join- this month marks my 1yr trying and it’s been an absolute shitter! Started the ball rolling with docs so bloods and hubby test next month but I hate this process 😥 period came this morning so my uterus can go an swivel.... 🖕 xx

Hhdxx · 13/01/2020 22:38

I also get cramps from 4dpo right up to period. Is this normal?!?!

Hhdxx · 13/01/2020 22:36

@Pizzaaddict yes I've tried it for a few months but no luck I'm afraid.

@BeingATwatItsABingThing congratulations. I'm so jealous of you right now. Any tips 😂

Month 15 feels like forever

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 13/01/2020 18:53

I got my BFP this month and am now 4+4. That was cycle 13 for me and didn’t do anything differently. 🤞this sticks for me.

I hope you all get your BFPs soon.

BabyMoonPie · 13/01/2020 18:38

I'm into month 14. GP has started the referral process. I was going to have January off to help my mental health but I just can't - time is not on my side

Pizzaaddict · 13/01/2020 18:21

Btw I’m not trying to sell preseed 😂

Pizzaaddict · 13/01/2020 18:20

Sorry to butt in, I stumbled upon this thread and read through it. Have any of you tried preseed?? My first baby was an “accident” ten years ago and when I met my current partner we tried for months and months and nothing. Then I tried preseed and was pregnant instantly. That ended in a loss but we kept using it and I was pregnant after that loss within a few weeks. He is now 20 months and we also have a 7 week old (I believe) through using preseed

Hhdxx · 13/01/2020 16:47

Hello. I wondered how everyone is getting on? I'm 5dpo and have really sore boobs. Does anyone else get this? Do you think it could be a hormone problem?
Were putting off going to the doctors 😭

Hhdxx · 18/12/2019 17:05

@Hhdxx you most definitely aren't unreasonable.

I'm trying so hard not to think about it because I feel like I'm getting on my husband's nerves. We are waiting till new year to book an appointment.

I also avoid people who are pregnant or who have recently had a baby. I find it too painful.

That is shocking, your manager should not be gossiping about your private medical matters!!

zoomies1 · 18/12/2019 11:03

@Hhdxx thanks. Fingers crossed.

I had a real moment of frustration this week asking myself why it isn’t happening. I just cannot understand!!

Christmas do last night. Bloody baby talk. One of the team is pregnant so I have to admit that I avoided her. And my manager said that he thought I was pregnant because I was having a softie. I was just pacing myself but hearing that followed by a message from DH to say his colleague who just got married is now also pregnant (that’s seven people currently) meant I may have stopped pacing. Plus, manager told everyone I was off for surgery (hysteroscopy) so I told him off for that too

Was I unreasonable l?

TheBeesKnee · 17/12/2019 23:18

Hhdxx

I've only told a couple of people who I know have also had fertility issues for this exact reason! I don't think I could be polite to unhelpful comments like that.

Hhdxx · 17/12/2019 16:59

@TheBeesKnee heya! I've TCC for 14 months now too. Such a drag!

Do people tell you to think of something else and it will happen...erm how do I think of something else? I literally can't!! I really feel like this is never going to happen...ever!?!?!?!

xx

Maisy24 · 16/12/2019 00:38

@TheBeesKnee haha brilliant, I'm exactly the same when I'm eventually pregnant no one will know. I'm keeping it to myself as there is literally nothing worse than people rubbing it in. I picture just bumping into people and being like oh yeah this happened. 🤣

I went away with friends this weekend and got a text message when I got there from my SIL "hi auntie maisy, can't wait to meet you in 2020"... she's pregnant. I genuinely felt sick , obviously I replied as if I was over the moon, but then I preceded to get messages from my other SILs "come on you need to hurry up" 😑 why does this have to be so hard.

TheBeesKnee · 15/12/2019 22:34

Hi, another Bitter Betty here 🙋‍♀️

I am 14 months into TTC and found out in the summer that DP basically doesn't produce sperm. He's had surgery to repair a varicosele and this is cycle 2 of when we expected results.

My rant is that my SIL told me she was in labour while I was on the toilet dealing with a shockingly early and unexpected period. I cried my eyes out while decanting blood and womb lining directly into the toilet and when she sent me photos of the baby I ignored her messages all evening because I couldn't bear to look. She's one of those people who blinks and they're pregnant.

I was having a self pity party with crying and posh tea in bed when I found this thread - and I'm glad that I did as it's made me laugh in places if nothing else. Totally agree that this experience has made me nasty and I don't think I'll tell anyone if I ever fall pregnant, people will just see me with a child one day and I'd say "oh yes I had a baby 4 years ago" really casually like a lunatic

Annie20019 · 15/12/2019 20:27

@zoomies1
Bless you, it’s sounds stressful!
It might be worth having a chat, but by using assertive communication. Avoid the work you and explain how it’s making you feel, good luck!

Annie20019 · 15/12/2019 20:24

@FthisS I hope things become less stressful/busy!

You are incredibly selfless, you have all of this going on yet you are so supportive to all on here.
Merry Christmas all!

Hhdxx · 15/12/2019 19:40

@Maisy24 They did the blood tests on day 22. But they told me to go on day 21 but I ovulate late so thought I'd go a day later. On the SA morphology was abnormal (1.7%) and everything else normal. But now second result morphology is 6.5% which is a massive improvement but motility is low at 37% and only 17% of those being progressive which means there's less chance I guess? Has your OH had SA done? I've kept myself so busy but it's all I think about. It's so bad! Thank you for your message xx

@zoomies1 my husbands morphology was 1.7% so for one month he has cut down on alcohol and caffeine and it has gone up to 6.5% He has also been taking vitamin tablets. It's worth a try!! Sometimes it can be just a bad batch, so maybe he was ill? Good luck xxxx

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 15/12/2019 19:25

Men are annoying like that aren’t they!

AF made her presence known on Friday and decided to make up for lost time. Sad

Onto cycle 13 for me...

zoomies1 · 15/12/2019 16:47

oopps, meant 3% morphology.

zoomies1 · 15/12/2019 16:40

Hi All, How's everyone doing?

I have finally submitted my paperwork for my referral!

Had DH's SA test results.....not great. Motility is only 3% so he has to go for a re-test. Everything else is JUST about normal and I think total sperm count was 57 million which is normal but I'm not sure its high enough to make up for everything else being only 1% into the normal range. Fingers crossed his re-test comes back ok.

He still won't take his vitamin without being reminded though and its driving me crazy!! I have had to take time off work for invasive procedures, blood tests, doctor's appointments etc and he can't even take a vitamin. Trying to work out how to say it without starting an argument!!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 11/12/2019 05:53

zoomies1 My doctor is brilliant but I doubt I would get tests yet. You’re right. I’m 25. I also already have a DD.

Still no sign of AF.

FthisS · 10/12/2019 22:37

Hey everyone (and welcome to the gang any newcomers). I've been pretty down the last few days but I'm a little more rational now, trying to focus on christmas which I do tend to go crazy on (I mean really overboard). I think this is mainly because I had an awful childhood and secondly because all the children have is us I tend to over compensate for this.
Anyway can't remember who asked about home schooling (sorry) it is just until January. I had a thread on here a few months back about moving my son from a catholic school and people did warn me that I it would probably go downhill for my daughter which it did. The admissions officer would not give a mid term transfer so I have her with me until January. It's flipping hard to be honest but it was the best decision because I could not possibly return her to that cult school.
I will have a proper catch up of the thread tomorrow. I'm pretty much out this month because of a number of reasons. H is a singer (not in steps though he does sometimes sing tragedy) so christmas is bloody busy and we can't make up for lost time during the day because of our daughter so it's just one of those blinking things.
