The difference between evaps and lines?

I’ve been testing since 8dpo because I need to start Clexane injections as soon as I find out, and have had absolutely nothing. Today is 13dpo so due tomorrow and I got this. I glanced at it when I first took it, saw nothing so left it thinking I was officially out this month. Came back 4 hours later and saw this. Don’t know what to think...

@ballyboy I did wonder about phoning the GP and asking for a blood test, but I just had a bit more brownish when wiping so pretty sure it’s been a chemical and AF is on its way. If I haven’t started bleeding properly tomorrow then I’ll do another test and call them.

I was tracking ovulation so know that it happened on 12/13th.

Thanks for asking Flowers

Ah This must be so frustrating to you, any more bleeding? Could it be implantation bleed and you ovulated late?

Could you go to maternity for beta hcg?

TwinkleStars15 · 28/11/2019 08:11

I still don’t have any answers Sad Tested this morning and there’s a very very faint line, fainter than yesterday so I’m assuming hcg is dropping. No bleeding though. I’m fed up with this and just want an answer.

@ballyboy Oh I have no idea what’s going on! I’ve had the finest amount of pink when wiping and I did another supermarket brand test which came up with a faint line, so another positive. They are all so faint and I wouldn’t thought they’d be stronger by 14dpo so just waiting to see what happens. Thanks for asking, it’s been a stressful day Angry

Any more bleeding? X

TwinkleStars15 · 27/11/2019 10:55

Due yesterday/today. This was the test this morning, I can see a line but just got a bit of blood when wiping so think it’s a chemical

Sorry to hear that OP :( when is your period due? X

TwinkleStars15 · 27/11/2019 07:13

Well it’s got the faintest line, I can see it but it’s incredibly faint so I think this is a chemical pregnancy Sad

Took another test this morning and it’s negative Sad

@TwinkleStars15 sending lots of positive vibes! Xx

TwinkleStars15 · 26/11/2019 14:37

@isitaline97 yes that’s my worry. I think that might be the case here but I’ll do a frer and see.

@decbaby19 I will go and buy one this afternoon! I’ve just had a wee so will try and wait at least 4 hours. I’ll let you know!

OP posts:
decbaby19 · 26/11/2019 14:29

@TwinkleStars15 could you hold for a few hours then take a FRER later? It should come up if it's a positive! But only talking from experience, when I got positives on ICs like yours I rushed out and bought a FRER and did it straight away 😂 x

isitaline97 · 26/11/2019 14:18

It does look promising but last month I got some awful Evaps/indents on one step cheapies! They had me fooled 😩 good luck to you hope it's the answer you want xx

TwinkleStars15 · 26/11/2019 14:04

Thank you ladies, I’ll do a frer tomorrow morning - it’s going to a long wait! Blush

I can see a line. I have always heard evaps are colourless/grey. In real life I have never seen one - if I saw even a hint of line, I was pregnant indeed.

lauryloo · 26/11/2019 13:04

I can see it. I got faint lines on cheapies even when my period was due

Shuckle · 26/11/2019 13:00

*necessarily, doh!

Shuckle · 26/11/2019 13:00

@TwinkleStars15 not neccessary, you can implant between 6-12DPO so if youve only implanted in last couple of days it could be really really faint still :) Is that an early response test or a normal? Good luck!

Sunflower2019 · 26/11/2019 12:59

When I was a pregnant a few years back all the tests I done looked negative then after an hour I’d check and they were positive.. god knows why but they didn’t lie! Xx

R2D2abc · 26/11/2019 12:39

I can see the pink line in the second test.

decbaby19 · 26/11/2019 12:27

I see it! And when I got positives on those tests around that time they were that faint Smile x

TwinkleStars15 · 26/11/2019 12:22

Shouldn’t it be a strong line by 13dpo? It’s so faint...

kell2126 · 26/11/2019 12:18

I can see it. Good luck! x

ballyboy · 26/11/2019 12:14

He I can see it, I'd take another in the morning to be sure. But looks good so far!!
