@mellymoo86 well done on the alcohol free dinner party! Actually well done in the dinner party in general, I've never hosted! I've not really drank in the house for months now so definitely getting used to it, although visiting home will be a little harder as Irish people almost prefer house parties to pubs so it's a social thing to have a few drinks after dinner in the weekend with family and I'll struggle to escape that. I've thought if I get my BFP and I tell them on Christmas day (that's the dream 🥰) I'll have to buy non alcoholic and randomly pull the labels off 😂😂

I'm glad we're all learning to chill. It can only benefit us and we have enough hormones going on! My PT tried to move my session from 11am to 8am this morning so I've said I'd rather cancel and have a relaxed morning! So I'm say in bed with a coffee. Which is another point... avoiding caffeine anyone??

@CiaraJ01 Woohoo Diet Coke. How exciting lol! Not long to go now, fingers crossed for you. I guess you never really know until AF arrives. I just finished hosting a dinner party for some friends. I didn't drink and thankfully they didn't really notice or comment. The girl doesn't really drink so that helped. I think the more I do it the more I'm getting used to it. Going out with a friend for dinner was hard enough but now I've had a dinner party 🥳 😯

@Skygirl1983 the laid back method is always the best and you also have symptoms which is good. This period might help to keep us all a little extra distracted. 🤞🏽

@nt1992 Definitely try to wait until Sunday if you're able to. A busy day tomorrow will help. I'm having a chilled weekend, can't rmr the last tome I had one.

Definitely the right thing to do. I have been for a cinema date with little sister to keep me occupied and lift my spirits

@mellymoo86 I think because I've had no symptoms and too busy to analyse I've just accepted it! Although secretly hoping to be suprised after the weekend! AF due around Weds depending on the app.

I'm so with you on the alcohol!! I've been to the shop's tonight and git him beer (after reminding him about Dry Jan again!) and got to the till thinking bloody water it is then! But buckled and ran back for a diet coke. #wildnightin 😂

@mellymoo86 I think by this stage it was about medium height and it was medium open? I'm sure I've just checked back on my apps. But who knows I'll keep checking it over the weekend

@nt1992 form what I've read online 'When pregnancy occurs, the cervix will rise up and become soft, yet the uterine will remain tightly closed. This occurs at different times for different women – as early as 12 days after ovulation or well after the pregnancy has been confirmed'. Because it varies so much it's hard to say. It can be a good sign but it can also drop later on closer to AF. Keep an eye on it as you're doing and monitor. Did you check it last cycle? If so, did it happen last time?

@mellymoo86 thank you lovely. I had been feeling the same thing about there conflicting stories I literally read two in a row and both said the opposite so I won't judge it by that. Clinging onto anything and everything because I've had zero symptoms today!

Im cervix is so high I genuinely panicked for a split second thinking where the fluff is it haha! I'll just hope it doesn't drop then.

@Blondeandbroody I don't really go by CM, I've found to many conflicting stories about it. Lots of discharge can mean early pregnancy, or high progesterone or high estrogen. Or it can mean you have thrush 😂 I do monitor my cervix though and it being high is a good thing. It tends to drop a few days before your AF.

Sorry if TMI, but does anybody know about CM?

I'm cycle day 26 of a presumed 30 day cycle. I couldn't find my cervix today it was so high haha and my CM has increased in amount and thickness.

I know it's not a clear cut indicator of pregnancy but this girl is struggling to just let it be until AF due on Wednesday haha!

Conflicting reports on google about what CM should be like before period due or if you're preggo

@CiaraJ01 Aww don't have that mentally THINK POSITIVE WOMAN!! I do know what you mean though, it sort of helps you keep your sanity during the waiting period.
I'm glad my AF is due 25th - 26th. If it's a BFN I'll be able to drink over the holidays and start again in the new year. Only been a few days with no drinking and I'm already thinking about it 😂 what am I supposed to do with my hand now. One was for doritoes and the other one was for a drink. Now I'm sitting here with water. Lol
