Good morning ladies!
Sorry I've been queit all weekend, just back from the best weekend in Amsterdam. Didnt bring the OPKs and just had proper time away from TTC and work etc. It was amazing!
Back late last night singing to POAS today as my apps are I'm ovulating shortly.

I'm so confused with these? Mine don't look as dark as ones posted? But the lines are as dark as each other? Are they dark enough to be positive? I've had cramps for about 5/6days now I think? Sorry I'm pretty new to using these xx

Iv had no signs of ovulation so I'll just DTD for another week or so (every other day) and hope if it's happened Iv caught it. If it hasn't happened then onto cycle 2.

@AliSxo defo wouldn't trust these tests try a different brand or what a few more days 😘

@AliSxo these tests arent the best, it's confusing when you can see a faded line even before starting the test. Have you tried a FRER?

@FutureMrsSmith I don't normally have EWCM. My CM changes throughout the cycle but it's not exactly how it's supposed to be at certain times. As long as the opks give you a good indicator and you're used to ovulating at a certain time every month I would go by that.

@mellymoo86 I bled a few days after my bfp so it would have been about 5 weeks pregnant then I think I had my period at about 35ish days after that and then it settled into a regular 28 day cycle again. It was 10 years ago now. It was a period like bleed.

Evening! I need some advise if possible please ladies!
I was expecting ovulation this weekend and the OPKs suggest the same (pic attached) except I have no EWCM. Does this mean I haven't ovulated yet or that I have but haven't had the CM go with it?! Confused!!!

Has anyone else had similar on IC's? I'm afraid they're just indents - I'm 10dpo xx

@PandaPink when you had your chemical did you bleed? If you did how long til your cycle went back to how it was? I'm confused as to when I will ovulate now 🤷🏽‍♀️

@mellymoo86 okay! Dr. Google says it's safe to take that antibiotic. I also took antihistamine (cetirizine) yesterday as dr. Google had allowed me to.

Which antibiotic is it? Google it and check if it affects pregnancy.

Oh yes! I wanted to ask. I took antibiotic yesterday. I have caught a very bad cold. Will that affect conception? I'm already 9 dpo.

Thank you @PandaPink I hope so to. I wasn't sure how to react to be honest. If it was going to happen I'm glad it did at this early stage.

@PrettyGirl5545 not sure why it happens, according to google it can be a number of things, mainly due to chromosomes, hormones etc.

Last week and before wasn't a great for me so was most likely not ideal for anything to occur. I was travelling for work, didn't take the right clothes so was always cold, I didn't sleep well, I got the flu/chest infection and been taking medicine every 4 hours for about 5 days (not antibiotics) but still not ideal.

I'm glad I'm home for the next few months 😊

@mellymoo86 Oh that's so sad! Is there any reason you think would have caused the chemical pregnancy? Like alcohol or heat or decreased HB or strain?

@mellymoo86 I'm sorry to hear, I'm sure your body will be making you super fertile for the next cycles.

I have had a chemical and I feel like I have trust in my body to do the right thing. It doesn't make it any easier but it gives me some comfort.

I'm still getting faint positives. I think I'm going through a chemical pregnancy. They happen up to 5 weeks (I'm 5 weeks today). Was in shock the past few days and frantically reading what I could find about it but I'm fine now. Spoke to OH as well and we said it's positive because we know that sperm and egg met, fertilised and implanted. It's from there it didn't work and couldn't survive and around 70% of women go through it. I only noticed because it happened a day or two after my normal AF time. If I didn't take a pregnancy test I would have assumed my AF was late.

Now I'm trying to figure out when I'll ovulate again. It should be 14 days after, so hopefully I can try in about 10 days time. My opk cheap sticks are picking up a high reading but I think it's false as I'm bleeding and still have hcg inside me. So will monitor and see 😊 All in all I feel positive about it 😊

@skygirl1983 it's good to take a break from the opks and relax.
@nt1992 I have caught the egg DTD 3/4 days before ovulation so don't worry about missing a few opportunities cos those little buggers hang about!! Lol

My mood is on the ceiling one minute and on the floor the next. I am going through some stress at work which is making me want to pack nursing in all together. I need to take one day at a time but I cant help but think the stress is affecting the pregnancy. Or maybe it's the pregnancy causing the stress I have no idea.

DP us becoming more and more supportive now and opened up lastnight that he's terrified of a mc. We need to stay possitive and I need to remind myself that I am most important not my work. Put myself first.

@Skygirl1983 I'm not going crazy this month worrying about testing etc just going to relax until January 😂

@Skygirl1983 hangovers are soo not worth I was the same 2 weekends ago🙈. Well some apps say yday was ov day some says today. Never DTD last night. But will be tonight so hopefully I'll catch the egg🤷🏽‍♀️🤞🏼
