@mrsio just read further about dying hair online, seems alright, will have to look into it later on. It's manageable for now. And yeah @Blondeandbroody you can have eggs as long as the red lion is on it but maybe not raw eggs lol. A little amount of it won't do any harm. I've stopped having tuna because of mercury. But will still have it here and there outside of fertile period. Not a major loss though, not like my precious porn star martini 😩

@Blondeandbroody I'm sorry I've no idea! Lots of bombshells today between not DTD during 2WW and not drinking during fertile week it seems we cant do anything!!! 😨

Maybe a dumb question but I'm currently baking and did that thing, you know licked the spoon, we all do it - don't judge. Then thought ooooo shit raw eggs! Is that an issue when TTC or just when you've got a bun in the oven? Bit late now like haha but for future reference, I bake a lot!

My white hairs are starting to show!! If I conceive this month I won't be able to dye it 😩😩😩 I'll need to buy those colour sprays.

@CiaraJ01 basically what i read is that drinking at any stage during IVF including right at the start affects your ability to get pregnant and increases the chances of early miscarriage. My understanding is that during ovulation nothing is actually happening in your body but during the 2ww there could potentially be. There are a lack of studies done on women within 2-4 weeks pregnant and I think because of that they don't actually tell you accurately when and how much to have. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I keep taking these silly little strip tests, I keep telling myself I can see lines when it's drying but once it's completely dry I'm struggling to see anything. I'm going crazy all over again😂

I'm still in two minds about having a drink during the ovulation stage. I've read a billion articles and what confuses me is that how has studies shown that it has affected IVF success drastically and not conceiving normally? Surely the same is happening inside your body no?

@mrsC89 and @mrsio welcome back! Sometimes you need a break from all the planning. It stresses you out and then is counter productive. Me and my OH had the same chat last month and it's made such a difference...Fingers crossed for you @Mrsio that sounds like you've ticked the boxes anyway!

Hi ladies, I had a week or so off here and just been reading through everything to catch up! Had a chat with DH and we decided that being as obsessive as we were wasnt goodnfor either of us. So this month I am not using opks. We are just going to DTD when we want to. I'm enjoying the more laid back attitude, but at the same time I'm thinking this is not going to get me a BFP!!!

Hi ladies

Just checking in. I've had a crazy couple of weeks. My little one had an operation (very minor procedure and he's absolutely fine), I've been away with work, and just generally busy with getting ready for my sons birthday and Christmas.

So sorry for those of you who have had a rubbish time the last couple of weeks.

I'm 2 dpo. We only managed DTD once on the day of O and we may have missed it so I'm not holding out much hope. I didn't get my usual O cramps so I couldn't tell when I actually did. We DTD within 24hrs of my peak OPK so technically still within the window. I'm hoping it will chill me out seeing as I've got my sons birthday party at the weekend and loads on at work before I break off next Wednesday. The last 2WW DRAGGED so I'm hoping it will fly by this time.

Despite the minimal chance of it working this month I can't help but get excited at the thought of writing a tag on one of my mums presents from baby no2

@Blondeandbroody - oh no, nothing worse is there! :(. im not actually sure, went to walk out of it and it sort of 'flung' back and got me on the back of my hand, it hurt SO much haha.

@FutureMrsSmith I would agree with her. By ovulation you might have already missed your chance so it's best to have those little swimmers up there and ready to pounce on the egg. I tend to ovulate day 15-16 so I dtd day 13 and 14 and sometimes 15 mainly.
