Anyone want to join me with the wait?
First period I have had in 4 years of ttc (pcos) and I ovulated day 58 - now 8DPO :)

@TwinkleStars15 That's good news you have been referred 😊. Will probably take the same length of time as a standard referral I would imagine. No I've not heard anything back yet. My bleeding doesn't seem be showing signs of stopping anytime soon.

TwinkleStars15 · 03/12/2019 20:33

@LoveRainbow02 I hope you are doing okay. My bleeding has pretty much stopped now. I went to the GP this evening who agreed to refer me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. No idea how long the wait is or what happens next. Did you hear back at all?

LoveRainbow02 · 01/12/2019 16:11

Yes that's exactly how I feel also. I'm struggling to grasp how I could carry my son no problem and have a relatively boring pregnancy yet cant seem to have a sticky bean so far 😔. I miscarried with my 1st pregnancy so I did always know it was a possibility with new pregnancies but just didnt expect it again. My ds is 20 months old and a little handful lol. Just keep thinking he was my blessing and that I may never be able to carry another child but once I'm out this fog I'll be more positive. Yes I think some gps are more helpful and understanding than others so fingers crossed they agree to start testing with you. I think it's highly unlikely I will get a referral. I thought they had to come from gps but mine said she would need to ask the epu first if it would be granted 🤷‍♀️

TwinkleStars15 · 01/12/2019 15:41

@LoveRainbow02 yes I think I know how you feel, I have also had 2 miscarriages in 3 months, and also have an older child. I’m finding it hard to understand why everything was so straight forward with my daughter (2.5) but now this keeps happening... how old is your child! It will be interesting to see what the GP says on Tuesday as I’ve heard every differing stories, I think some and more sympathetic than others.
Yes I am hoping to try again this cycle but we’ll see. If you decide to, please check in here and I can support you as best I can Flowers

LoveRainbow02 · 01/12/2019 14:05

@TwinkleStars15 I'm ok just feel quite emotional and angry a lot this time. Cant believe I've had 3 losses now and 2 within 2 months 😥. Dont think I will try again straight away as I'm terrified and think my body needs a break now. Will you be trying again soon? Thats good your bleeding is tailing off. Strangely my bleeding is quite heavy and certainly more heavier than my mc last month. Still getting a faint positive on clearblue test also so will leave it another couple of days to make sure it goes to negative.

TwinkleStars15 · 01/12/2019 10:21

@LoveRainbow02 how are you doing? I’m feeling sadder now than I did the day it happened. Still bleeding but think it’s easing a little now. Will you be trying again straight away?

LoveRainbow02 · 29/11/2019 20:24

My gp isn't making the referral, she said she would ask the epu to do it but didnt sound hopeful. I know I've gave birth before but I've also had 3 losses now and I would rather I was tested to find out if there was something wrong. Feel so scared to try again. Yes my bleeding has been a little heavier than a normal period too and much more crampy I would say. It would have been a lovely christmas surprise 😔. All I feel just now is anger and like I am failing. I am extremely fortune to have my son and I will be forever grateful but doesn't make the hurt any less 😥. I was googling earlier and blood thinners were coming up alot so I'll probably pop onto your thread.

TwinkleStars15 · 29/11/2019 20:19

@LoveRainbow02 I think it might take another couple of days to be completely negative, your lines were quite strong. I have heard that it has to be 3 in a row, but is your GP going to make the referral anyway for you? I’ve got a GP appointment on Tuesday for an unrelated matter but I am going to ask if they can do any initial bloods. I’ve also just started a new thread about blood thinners as I think I might need to start them whilst ttc rather than waiting. I’m okay, sad, and bleeding is fairly heavy considering how early I was, is yours? I was hoping this would be a lovely Christmas surprise for everyone but it wasn’t to be x

LoveRainbow02 · 29/11/2019 19:25

I'm ok thanks. Went to the gp today to ask to be referred for testing but she thinks I wont be eligible as I had my ds after my first mc. I've had 2 mcs and a chemical now so something must be wrong. Still testing positive after heavy bleeding which I find strange. I thought the hgc levels would drop quickly with me being so early. How are you doing?

HalfPenny28 · 29/11/2019 07:49

@LoveRainbow02 sorry to hear that 😔 I always find myself so disappointed when af arrives. The only advice I can give is ride af out and just think that every month is another chance!

When will you next af be due? Mines just before new year now so got my fingers crossed for a new year surprise 🤞🏼💕

TwinkleStars15 · 29/11/2019 07:27

@LoveRainbow02 oh I’m so so sorry Flowers I hope you are okay. It’s such a disappointment isn’t it, thinking of you Flowers

LoveRainbow02 · 29/11/2019 05:18

I'm out, af arrived this morning 😔

TwinkleStars15 · 28/11/2019 19:55

@LoveRainbow02 that’s a really good line! There is a real possibility it is just implantation bleeding leftover, or even where it is burrowing in a little deeper. It’s hard, but try not to worry, and don’t do what I did which was go to the loo every 20 minutes to check! Hopefully you’ll get no more, and maybe do another test tomorrow Cake

LoveRainbow02 · 28/11/2019 19:52

Thanks for the reassurance @Hugeagegap. Your over on the december thread arent you? I only have a tiny spot of brown when wiping now which isnt normal for me before af so hoping it's just some leftover from implantation maybe?

HugeAgeGap · 28/11/2019 19:47

@LoveRainbow02 try not to worry too much about spotting. With my son I had lots of blood, way more than just spotting, like full on stuff coming out! But everything was totally fine, he's now 10 :-) I know this isn't the case for everyone but just wanted to say it can happen for some ppl and still be totally fine x

LoveRainbow02 · 28/11/2019 19:36

It was a very small amount that was light pink. None when wiping now 🤷‍♀️. This was the test I took about 30 mins ago

TwinkleStars15 · 28/11/2019 19:33

@LoveRainbow02 Oh I’m sorry to hear that, how much was it? Everyone said to me that some spotting was normal, but I completely understand how it’s nearly impossible not to think the worst. The fact that your tests are getting stronger is a really really good sign xx

LoveRainbow02 · 28/11/2019 19:01

I got a stronger test tonight but after wiping I'm now spotting also 😔

LoveRainbow02 · 28/11/2019 13:32

Aww I'm so sorry 😔. Really hope next month is your month 🤞💕

TwinkleStars15 · 28/11/2019 13:12

@LoveRainbow02 I’m out. Just did a frer from my fmu and negative, also had a bit more blood when wiping. Thanks for all your support and good luck with your pregnancy Smile

LoveRainbow02 · 28/11/2019 10:11

I can still see lines on those. Just a waiting game really which sucks but I hope things turn out ok for you 🤞.

This was my test from this morning with fmu. Strangely though in previous pregnancies my afternoon wee has always given me better lines than fmu 🤷‍♀️.

Anyone else 8DPO?
TwinkleStars15 · 28/11/2019 10:03

@LoveRainbow02 these are the photos, the line is so faint isn’t it? It’s driving me crazy, but in my heart I know if it was viable the line would be darker by now.

Do you have a photo of yours?

LoveRainbow02 · 28/11/2019 09:51

Do you have a pic? That's a good sign that the bleeding had stopped.

I'm ok, looked like my test looked a little lighter this morning compared to last nights but trying to remain postive 🤞.

TwinkleStars15 · 28/11/2019 09:45

@LoveRainbow02 thanks for asking. Not great, tested again with an internet cheapie and supermarket brand again and the line is so faint, I can only just see it. I think it must mean my hcg is falling so must be a chemical/miscarriage. I’m not bleeding though so no idea what to think.

How are you? Flowers
