@Skygirl1983 haha definitely not, no! I just find it therapeutic to lift heavy stuff, except when it's too heavy and I get frustrated 😂 it's amazing what bodies can do though, I've surprised myself so many times! X

Skygirl1983 · 19/11/2019 12:46

@Louu99 are you an Olympian??

OP posts:
stepmumma91 · 19/11/2019 12:45

@Louu99 thinking of you lovely. I wouldn't worry too much about the exercise thing, from everything I've read you're perfectly fine to carry on as usual. I certainly have been! I work out (cardio and weight training) 4/5 times a week. I think the problems start if you didn't exercise before and suddenly start exercising! X

Skygirl1983 · 19/11/2019 12:45

@Louu99 I hope you aren't waiting for much longer.

And that is some serious lifting. But I suppose if your body is used to it you'll be fine to carry on to a point

@CiaraJ01 @Skygirl1983 still waiting for them to call. Feel like I'm staring at my phone a lot lately 🙈
Still bleeding, but nowhere near as heavy as Sunday. And it goes from pink to fresh blood all the time.

@Maisy24 I didn't know about the working out thing either! I do pretty intense work outs and Olympic lifting 5/6x a week 😕 oops! X

Skygirl1983 · 19/11/2019 12:36

@Louu99 I'd be the same if I was in your shoes. Any news on your results? Are you still bleeding?

OP posts:
CiaraJ01 · 19/11/2019 11:46

@Maisy24 really? I do heavy weights with a PT twice every week 🙈 How long do they say leave it after ovulation??

@Louu99 totally understandable. Chocolate and a Christmas film!! What's happening with your results??

Louu99 · 19/11/2019 11:40

I'm afraid I'm going to bring the mood down here today but I'm feeling really miserable and down in the dumps. In fact, I'm still in bed. Can't bring myself to get out and get dressed 😕

Skygirl1983 · 19/11/2019 10:05

@Maisy24 I am booked on to a body combat class but might cancel and just go and cycle and do some gentle upper body instead. I'm feeling a bit of low key cramping in my back this morning and side twinges too. Trying my hardest to stay off google. My no symptom spotting rule has gone out of the window completely I think!

@Skygirl1983 I was told to completely stop the gym after ovulation by an acupuncturist and also by a lady on another thread who was told by a fertility clinic for ivf. Or at a very minimum to cut out any heavy impact stuff like running. Just passing this on , as I've stopped the gym after ovulation this time (even though it's hard not to go). I think walking and swimming is ok though!

Skygirl1983 · 19/11/2019 09:13

@mellymoo86 interesting. I dont know anything about cervix checking so intrigued to see if it comes to anything. How does your actual cervix feel? Does it feel soft or hard??
I have had some twinges in my sides but I think that seems to be more of a regular occurrence now throughout my cycle so not going to jump on that one either!

I'm supposed to be going to the gym tonight but I have zero motivation to go. I might go and do something easy.

@mellymoo86 could be implantation!!! Xx 🤞🤞🤞

mellymoo86 · 19/11/2019 08:20

A little update, was just having a shower and checking my cervix, when I took my finger out there was very little brown discharge on it. I put it in the check again and the same came out. Normally I see some spotting around a day before my period which should be Saturday. I don't know if this is normal a few days before as it's the first time I'm checking my cervix but I'll monitor and see how it goes. 🤷🏽‍♀️

mellymoo86 · 19/11/2019 08:01

@Maisy24 @Skygirl1983 Barcelona is going well. My trade-show starts today so got a few work things I need to get done. But I'll be meeting my friend for lunch and dinner which is nice 😊I'm 8dpo today, back on Thursday and will be 10dpo then. I honestly feel nothing and think this is not the month, I'll do a test once I'm back.

mrsio · 19/11/2019 07:52

BFN for me this morning at 10 dpo. Trying not to be disappointed as this is the day I got my first BFP. That test was in the evening tho so I'll obviously test again tonight.....

Maisy24 · 19/11/2019 07:52

@CiaraJ01 wow very confusing! Have you tried the clear blue opks? This was my first month trying them and I loved them, I also temped at all looked in line with eachother as my temp risen the day after ovulation, maybe try them next cycle if this one isn't a BFP.

@Skygirl1983 I might do a cheapie opk myself later tonight just to see what it does 🤣 I'm testing Friday at 11dpo before I go away. I've also had stomach cramps already and back ache. I don't usually get cramps this early but I'm sure thinking about it brings them on!

Skygirl1983 · 19/11/2019 07:31

@Maisy24 not much going on this morning. I'm a day behind you. Boobs are starting to feel a little tender but that usually happens a week or so before AF. Got to hold off until Friday to do a hpt. Will keep an eye on the opk tests too to see what they do. Even if it means it's not picking up pg its interesting to know if LH rises again before AF. Another thing to monitor!!

Hope everyone is good.

Hows Barcelona @mellymoo86

How are you feeling @Louu99

OP posts:
CiaraJ01 · 19/11/2019 07:30

@Maisy24 my readings were ridiculously high and I previously tracked periods on another app before TTC which predicts AF at the end of the week rather than today. I have had on off cramps since Friday though and some back ache which are usual AF signs but early.

WHY IS EVERYTHING SO CONFUSING 🙄🙄🙄

Maisy24 · 19/11/2019 07:12

@CiaraJ01 think we sent messages the same time, why do you think the opks might be wrong? Could very well be if AF hasn't arrived yet, do you feel like she's coming or no cramps yet? Xxxxx

Maisy24 · 19/11/2019 07:10

@nt1992 haha yeah a little tune plays like the sims. Instead we have to wait and constantly analyse every small thing!

@Skygirl1983 how you feeling? I'm 8dpo today and feel nothing!

@mellymoo86 you carry on eating and enjoying yourself, it's technically Xmas time now so diets are off until January 🤣 are you also 8dpo today? When do you get back?

@CiaraJ01 he is gorgeous, I think my dog has helped me through all this! 😊

When is everyone testing? Xxxxx

CiaraJ01 · 19/11/2019 06:36

Good morning! @MrsP0109 and @FeckaDecka
So no AF as yet. Took a cheapie test first thing... BFN. 😒 14 dpo so it's unlikely but I'll order some FRER today incase AF doesnt arrive by tomorrow.
I'm still unconvinced the OPK tests were right so I mightnt have ovulated when I thought 😣

PrettyGirl5545 · 19/11/2019 00:32

@Maisy24 exactly!! I wonder the same. Why is this so complicated?? Why isn't it simple!
@nt1992 I'm on CD10, expecting ovulation to happen in 2 days. I still haven't started proper dtd

MrsP0109 · 18/11/2019 22:40

Hello! Could I join in?? (I’m very new here!) I’m on my 2nd cycle of TTC baby #1 and will be testing around the 30th...I’ve spent all evening reading a few TTC threads, I had no idea it’s all so technical!

nt1992 · 18/11/2019 22:23

@Maisy24 that would be fab, just plays a little tune afterwards if you managed to get preg😂 I felt like I had a few symptoms before AF appeared but clearly it was in my head 🤔 scary how your mind can play tricks!

mellymoo86 · 18/11/2019 22:08

@Maisy24 thanks lovely. Having a lovely time and eating like a pig. Need to get back on a diet when I'm back in the UK. 😁

So from what I've read when the cervix feels harder (like the tip of your nose) then you're most likely not. If you are pregnant your cervix should be wet, high and soft. I'm 7dpo and my cervix has gone from being low/hard/dry to higher/lots of cm but still harder. So I'm thinking AF is on the way (although theres still 5/6 days), so let's see. And yeah it's super annoying as the exact same symptoms are caused by AF to. It's literally a waiting game.
