BFN again this morning, another bit of brown CM this morning but nothing since! Boobs are like bricks, no cramps, weird sicky heartburny thing going on & im a bit hot. I never get to 14DPO so my head is well and truly fried!! Wondering if it’s those fancy new supplements I’ve been taking 😓 anywho I’ve a 12 hour day in work today so on to 7.30pm - going to put the Christmas tree up in here now! That’s 3 over 2 days 🤣

@whatsthecraic91 wow you are in the spirit with more than 1 Xmas tree. We're currently renting so no space for one. Have you tested again? Still spotting?

@Anny27 glad you're feeling better in yourself. Yeah perhaps the ewcm is still hormones in your body from the pregnancy?
@MIW01 that's shocking that your PCT is limiting it so much! Really hope you get appointments sooner rather than later

@1990shopefulftm welcome to the group, sorry to hear about you needing to quit your job. The stress must've been horrendous for you to make that decision.

Ok ladies we are soon heading out to our 1st fertility appointment, I'm really hoping they do an internal scan, 2nd SA and DP bloods today but think I'm being too optimistic and it'll probably be just giving detailed history for us both. I don't get annual leave from work (I'm a locum) so future appointments have to be unpaid days off work which is a bugger!

@lozzlepop 14DPO tomorrow!! Bought some clearblues to try in the morning couldn’t get a FRER, I’m convinced the ICs are faulty 🤣 nipples are getting sorer by the second too 🤞🏼 Still a wee bit of spotting tho so I’m really trying not to get my hopes up! Got the second tree up this afternoon thought I’d better her it over with 😅

@Lottiepink thanks, have mixed feelings of excitement and annoyance that our appointment was just 2 weeks away! Sorry to hear AF got you! Fingers crossed you get answers from the tests when they come!

@whatsthecraic91 that’s frustrating, how many DPO are you? I’m impressed that you have the patience to put more than one tree up hehe!

@Lozzlepop really hope this little one works out for you!! Yes tested and BFN again! Really don’t know what’s going on, had another little bit of spotting this morning and my nipples are getting sore so I’m really hoping it’s the start of something! Going shopping today so might pick up a more reliable test 😅 didn’t get the second tree up last night, might leave it to nearer Christmas as it’s only the good room that no one sits in so it doesn’t really matter yet!

Af arrived for me on Friday night 😭 just pleased we have things moving on the tests etc, will do DH next SA just after Xmas and will hopefully get referred from there 😊

AF started this morning so going to start TTC this month, we did try a couple of months earlier in the year but i had to quit my job because of the stress it was causing me so put a hold on it for a while.
I'm now in a much better job so hopefully that will help .

@whatsthecraic91 thank you ☺️ the shock has subsided and although I am still very cautious I know that there’s nothing that can really be done this early anyway! Have you tested again? Oh you are very organised having the tree up- I need to get my festive head on!

@MIW01 I have had the transvag scab, it’s not as bad as you would think, slightly uncomfortable and your legs are hoisted up but it’s fine ☺️

@Anny27 that’s good ☺️ I might put the tree up next week too- was going to do it the following week as I’d be hungover but might have the notion to do it now! Our cat doesn’t really bother with the tree but I don’t put any baubles low down 😂

@Lozzlepop with everything going on recently I haven't stopped to think about christmas haha. But I am more cheery now so will put the tree up next weekend :D (our cat tends to hate the tree......so I dont want it up too soon or he will ruin it by the 25th haha). you?

@Kiza that's really strange with the EWCM but no positive OPK! I have been getting what I think is ewcm....but also having positive pregnancy tests still so maybe it's just end if miscarriage cm, dont know haha. I am feeling a million times better atm thank you - time is a great healer!

@whatsthecraic91 I need to follow suit with no frers in the house 😂😂😂 thos little suckers are so tempting. And i can see why, after the miscarriage I am tesring negative on ICs but quite positive on frers still! So they are really quite sensitive haha. When we ttc again I will maybe keep 1 in the house for emergencies 😂😂😂

@MIW01 oh the TV ultrasounds! Hope it goes well, I have had a few the last month and they aren't comfortable but not too bad. Are they checking the ovaries and stuff?

@Kiza @whatsthecraic91 (sorry about BFN) I live in South East Hampshire on the West Sussex border. You're absolutely right, the NICE guidelines specify the upper age limit as 42 but because it's considered low priority treatment the trusts can do what they want and as fertility declines rapidly post 35 that's the limit they set.

@Anny27 @Lozzlepop it's a transvaginal ultrasound and they are chokka, it's the earliest they've got! DP is going to come so we're both there to process it. I'm so lucky he's so supportive.

@Lozzlepop I’ve had more pink every time I’ve been to the loo since then but it’s not the same as the usual spotting I get, I usually spot from about 9/10DPO with AF showing 13DPO 🙁 I’ve no cramps today either which is weird that’s why I don’t think AF is coming 🤞🏼😓 I ovulated early this month too! Glad you’re feeling better today, I’m sure yesterday was a shocker when you weren’t expecting it 😂 I’ll congratulate you now as I wasn’t sure if should or not yesterday 🤣 congratulations!!

@Kiza it was lovely thanks, drank a lot of mulled wine 😂😂 it’s so so pretty there at this time of year 😍 seems like a lot of us have had early OV this month- seems strange?!

@Lozzlepop also how was Vienna? Nice to get away and focus on a mini break?

@MIW01 I think so, although I'm a bit confused as my opk was super early at cd11 but I had no ewcm (DTD yesterday when DP got back from his week away) Had a low opk reading today but lots of ewcm today also? 🤷🏼‍♀️ DTD today also to try and cram in what we can due to no build up. Glad your first week back at work was ok and most people left you to it. How are you feeling about it all now?

@SunnyFlover yes I had a course of Accupuncture and it reduced my spotting before AF and regulated my cycles. Coincidentally I didn't have Accupuncture the last 2 cycles and ended up with a long cycle followed by a short one so perhaps I should get back to it!

@whatsthecraic91 fingers crossed for you that it's BFP symptoms rather than Mrs AF! When are you next thinking of testing?

It was super icy here this morning too, went to the gym then went into town to look at the Xmas markets but my gosh avoid Birmingham Xmas markets at all cost! So busy it was like herding cattle trying to move around 😆

@whatsthecraic91 I would test again with a FRER of you have one? I have had a tiny bit of pink in cm before when I was pregnant

@Anny27 thank you ❤️ Due date for baby #1 was during the week whilst we were away hence why think I was so shocked yesterday! That’s great you are feeling more energetic, so glad to hear it!

How’s everyone’s Saturday? Whose got their tree up? We went shopping for curtains so I’ve taken them up and hung them and now chilling on the sofa watching a crappy xmas movie- bliss!

@lozzlepop that's really exciting for you both and I reaaaaaaaally hope that this little one sticks. Also I was thinking that your first due date is round the corner and so this will hopefully lessen the emotions surrounding that day 💓

I cant believe how much energy I have today 😂 since about september when I became pregnant to now I have felt so lazy but I have been buzzing around the house like a fly sorting things today haha!!

Hi all!

Tested this morning with 2 IC as I was sure I could see a faint line - obviously not 🤣! 12DPO today, had cramps yesterday on and off but none today so far, had a wee bit of pinky CM when I went to the loo there so don’t know if that’s a good sign or not 😒 Also keep getting shooting pains in my boobs randomly, I am driving myself insane this month!

@SunnyFlover we are in Dunfermline which is just across the bridge from Edinburgh, what about you? I had a friend who wasn’t actually ovulating but acupuncture kicked everything back into gear for her and she’s now got 3 little ones, I would do your research on someone who specialises in fertility ☺️ It is difficult when you know how much you want something ❤️

@Lozzlepop sounds so Christmas'y where you are! Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?
Where we are it's +15 at Christmas and the only Christmas trees we can find are plastic ! 😕 Oh I do hope it's only the time matter before the cycle settles, but we want this baby so much, so tough to wait... I was thinking maybe to try acupuncture? Read that it helps to kick back the cycle back into the order.

I am sure I read here before, that someone tried acupuncture, did it work?

@Anny27 been off work for a week, so travelling back from Paris today and bracing myself for the next working week... I hear there was some restructure / changes back at work ( as always when I am not there..!), so it already sounds like a "fun" thing to go back to.

@Anny27 I am feeling better now that I’ve had some time to process- was just having a bit of a meltdown yesterday 😂 I was the same, not many people at work know apart from 2/3 people. It’s super cold here too, it’s minus 4 this morning 😭😭 everything is frosty and the bloody cat is crying to get out 😂 No plans here yet this weekend but will probably go for a wintery walk somewhere ☺️

@MIW01 ahh that's frustrating! I knew that over 35 if you already have a child in my area they are less likely to do tests but I thought first time mums wasnt limited. You still have nearly 9 months to be referred so fingers crossed :)

@Lozzlepop how are you feeling about it all now its had a chance to sink in? A little miracle! First week back in work was okay actually, a few nosey questions but I managed to say "I don't want to go into it but all is good now" haha

What's everyone doing this weekend?
I live in South East and today is the first day that its really felt like winter! Cars all iced over and frosty. Think a cozy day in sorting out the mess of a house that my poor DH has been looking after whilst I made mounds of mess from the sofa the last month 😂

@MIW01 I’m going to give them a call next week and see if they will still see me- no harm in asking! That’s so rubbish about your referral- can you kick up a fuss and get an ultrasound sooner?

@SunnyFlover sorry to hear AF arrived, it can take a few months for your cycle to settle down after coming off the pill- our bodies are weird which I know full well after OV on day 19 onwards apart from this month where it was day 14 (I think)

@Anny27 thank you- I really hope so, our appointment falls at the 6 week mark where we have had issues the last 2 times so it would be good if we can keep the appointment 🤞🏻How’s the first week back at work been?

@Kiza thanks for the advice I think I’m going to call them next week or the start of the week after and see what they suggest! Luckily I have quiet a few days off coming up then the Xmas break so I will be able to relax and take it easy for a lot of December!
