@timswifey straight on to see if you had posted this morning!! What a great line!! I am so happy for you!! Congratulations!! I’ll drop in again later x

Anny27 · 18/01/2020 08:36

@timswifey yayyyyyyy!!!!!! We are well overdue a BFP on this thread. Congratulations lovely! Well worth the wait :D

P.s sue to your long cycle, when talking to the midwives probably best to let them know when you ovulated as they can better figure out due date otherwise you might get scanned 3 weeks before which might cause unnecessary stress about baby size

@MIW01 wow that's good that you are feeling positive about it. Its promissing that theres something they can do and your positive attitude will help you loads with conceiving after the blockage is removed 🙌🙌

@kiza are you seeing a consultant atm? Definitley not too old!

@whatsthecraic91 ahh I have fuller boobs today and a big temp rise. Its happened before when not pregnant si csnt get too excited Haha

@Lozzlepop have you passed the sac do you think yet? Ahh it's a horrible time xxx

Kiza · 18/01/2020 08:28

@timswifey whooohoooo congratulations lovely that's amazing news! How many dpo are you? I remember reading your thread that AF was late for you. So happy for you ☺️

@MIW01 yeah I believe we can block our own desires especially if we are holding onto fear or previous emotions. I'm booking in for a course of fertility hypnotherapy, as much as Accupuncture was great at regulating my cycles I think I'm holding onto fear of getting pregnant and that could be a blockage for me.

timswifey · 18/01/2020 08:20

Ladies, I'm shaking!!!

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time @Lozzlepop not long until your appt now! Glad you get to take it easy this weekend. I've actually got a rare morning off tomorrow so I'm making the most of it by turning the alarms off!

Let us know how you get on @timswifey

That's interesting @Kiza not tried that before. I wonder if my energy has got blocked cause I spent so much of my life thinking I didn't want kids?! So now I need to refocus my energy and manifest a new reality. And I don't think you are too old at all especially with what can be done these days. Let us know how the appointments go.

They can't give me a timeline or any guidance at all cause this beyond their expertise so I think I'm going to capitalise on DP's Bupa and go private! If it's going to take another few months to sort itself out anyway we want to get it dealt with asap!

timswifey · 17/01/2020 18:07

@MIW01 I think it's good that you know what's going on now.

When do you find out the next steps?

Thank you @Kiza - looking forward to finding out one way or another! Lots of little cramps today so I'll know what's going on soon I'm sure.

@Lozzlepop you poor thing. Maybe take those days off next week anyway?

Lozzlepop · 17/01/2020 16:50

@whatsthecraic91 thats great that you got your bloods done today, I am the same I hate having blood taken I' m such a wuss!

@Anny27 thank you ❤️

@MIW01 sorry to hear that, I'm sure it wasn't the news you were expecting, when will you find out what the next steps are?

@timswifey I have everything crossed for you tomorrow!

@Kiza thanks thats really useful to know- I had such a bad reaction with the medication last time they said I probably wouldn't be allowed to take it again! How long will you need to wait for all the results?

So last night was rough- was in so much pain and cocodymol and a hot water bottle weren't helping! I feel that the worst of it has passed and am hopefully come Monday that I won't need any further treatment- also only a week on Monday until our first consultant appointment so I feel we are getting there! Looking forward to a weekend of doing nothing as I am drained, working from home on Monday and provisionally have Tuesday and Wednesday booked off but as I say hoping it doesn't come to that. Whats everyone got on this weekend?

Kiza · 17/01/2020 16:27

@MIW01 glad you got the info you needed and hope it's smooth sailing for you, nice to see another energy healer on here ☺️ I've been trying to do some past life regression to see if that's blocking me 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Lozzlepop really hope things happen naturally for you before your hospital appointment. Having had both interventions I would opt for medical again as it was quicker and less traumatic (for me anyway).
@orangeloo thanks, think there was a few of us who hoped for the Christmas miracle!

@timswifey good luck for tomorrow! Holding out for you 🤞🏼

@ValidUser sending you tons of well wishing and baby dust for next month when you start your IVF journey. Am I right in thinking you started this thread way way back?

I'm currently CD 7 on cycle 17, awaiting results of 2nd lots of bloods. DP has his 2nd SA to see if there's been any improvements and awaiting appointment for TV scan and will have HSG next cycle as missed it this month being on holiday.
Mixed feelings still, sometimes optimistic and focusing on life instead of a baby, others times worried that at age 39 I've missed my boat...

1990shopefulftm · 17/01/2020 16:13

@whatsthecraic91 Will see what happens, we did sort of NTNP for a couple of months last year before I had to quit my previous job so I m not feeling that hopeful that cycle 2 is the one and that it may take time but at least I think I know roughly when I ovulate now if it isn't.

@MIW01, thank you. Having to go private so hoping they can help me out.

MIW01 · 17/01/2020 15:02

@timswifey hope it's the result you want!

@whatsthecraic91 I'm feeling really relieved actually. I was so worried when I got the call yesterday morning and I've just had this intuitive gut feeling that I have a blockage. I thought it would be my tubes but I think this might be it so I'm just focusing my energy on healing myself ready for whatever medical intervention I need but I think as long as there's nothing else (fingers crossed) this should resolve the issue and we will be good to go!

whatsthecraic91 · 17/01/2020 14:10

*now not not!

whatsthecraic91 · 17/01/2020 14:08

@Anny27 didn’t see your post sorry! I’m the same I had cramping last night, some this morning and not I’m a bit twingy like AF is coming. I’m 6dapp today and I keep thinking it’s too early for that? Or not I don’t know 😅 I’m convinced I’m going insane 😂

whatsthecraic91 · 17/01/2020 14:06

@MIW01 I’m off today so have just made myself a lovely salad for lunch 🙂 well it’s good to have a reason it’s not happening for you! Hopefully it’s just a matter of removing it then? How do you feel about the news?

@timswifey you have serious willpower well done! Can’t wait for you to test 😂 we need a BFP on here!! 🤞🏼

timswifey · 17/01/2020 13:15

Crampy* not cranky lol!!

timswifey · 17/01/2020 13:15

Hi @whatsthecraic91 no sign of AF and I have resisted testing so far!

I'm feeling a bit cranky and bloated though so I guess we'll know one way or the other soon enough... testing tomorrow morning!

MIW01 · 17/01/2020 12:14

Sorry to hear about your knee issues @1990shopefulftm hope the physio helps

@whatsthecraic91 isn't it just! Nutrition is the main thing to focus on so well done for that. And thanks for asking.

Thanks for asking @Anny27

I have a 1cm uterine polyp which could be 'blocking' conception from happening so my GP has written to gynae to ask for their guidance on next steps. I'm hoping it will be a simple case of removing and that will 'clear the path' for future foetus and we can move on for the future! I've done some research (can't help myself) and they are associated with high oestrogen levels and I have low progesterone so it all makes sense! So even more motivation to shift the lbs and up my game with my nutrition plan! I've also started practicing EFT (accupressure) & reiki on myself to help my body heal. At this point I figure everything is worth a try!

Anny27 · 17/01/2020 11:53

Hey ladies! Havent caught up on the thread yet so sorry if I missed any messages!

@MIW01 yes definitley it will be clarification as the gynae doctors are obviously specialised and will know more than the GPs on the specific issues. I know the stress! Hopefully they get back to you soon!

@whatsthecraic91 you know me always symptom spotting 😅😅 had some cramps last night at 5dpo so 🤞🤞 that's implantation. You?

@Lozzlepop thinking of you lovely xx

whatsthecraic91 · 17/01/2020 11:38

@timswifey how’s it going? Any sign of AF? Have you held out to test?

@Lozzlepop hope you’re okay Flowers

@MIW01 did you get speaking to a doctor about your results? Oh lovely!! A holiday is always great motivation 😎 I’ve started slacking a bit, the weather here has been crap and I can’t bring myself to go walking after work in it 😂 I’m still eating well tho so hopefully the scales show me a difference in the morning again!

@1990shopefulftm only takes the once so you never know! 🤞🏼

@Anny27 how’s you doing? Are you crazy symptom spotting - I know I am 🤣

So got my bloods done this morning - with no fainting which is brilliant for me 🤣 I get my results Tuesday afternoon 🤞🏼 6DPO & I just feel really weird like AF is coming I’ve had this since last night, trying not to go crazy googling 😂 happy Friday all 😎

1990shopefulftm · 16/01/2020 20:12

I know our timings weren't perfect this cycle so not feeling that hopeful that I'm pregnant but still trying to plod on with my knee issues without painkillers at the moment, I have physio tomorrow which will be pretty painful but I m telling myself it's nothing like what it ll be if I get to go through labour.

MIW01 · 16/01/2020 14:05

Sorry I haven't caught up with everyone's news!

Wishing you the best of luck with IVF @ValidUser a friend of mine is going through it this month as they are using a sperm donor (it's easier and cheaper than adopting - crazy!)

Thank you for the OPK recommendations. Paid £10 for 75 from Amazon so going to do everyday this cycle and take photos so I can learn more about my cycle.

@Kiza sorry to hear AF arrived. I was so disappointed when mine did this cycle.

@Lozzlepop sorry yo hear you're having a rough time. I hope it passes naturally and then you can get on with things.

@timswifey I've heard elevated temps are a good indicator of pregnancy, though mine always stay high until CD2-3?

Well done on the weight loss @@whatsthecraic91 I'm joining you on this as my family booked for us to go to a beach holiday in Rhodes for a week in 16 weeks time! Not that Im counting down or anything.

MIW01 · 16/01/2020 11:51

Thanks @Lozzlepop typically my GP isn't in again until Monday but I've asked for the duty GP to call which will be after 15:30 today. I'm wondering if I have a suspected blockage?!

Lozzlepop · 16/01/2020 11:29

@MIW01 are you able to call and speak to the doctor? I wouldn’t panic too much as most doctors won’t be specialised in certain areas and especially when it comes to fertility so they are probably double checking to ensure they give you accurate results! Thinking of you ❤️

MIW01 · 16/01/2020 09:42

So the surgery just called to say my GP has had to write to the Gynae department for more guidance regarding my ultrasound results . . . That does not sound good and how I'm in pieces not knowing what's going on?!

Lozzlepop · 16/01/2020 09:10

Morning ladies!

@Natty47 thanks lovely, last year (and these last few weeks) have been a tough ride but we are determined to enjoy this year and make lots of memories whatever may happen!

@whatsthecraic91 thanks lovely 😘

@timswifey thank you ❤️ I’m feeling better in myself today but boy am I looking forward to the weekend! Everything is sounding so positive - I have everything crossed for you 🤞🏻

timswifey · 16/01/2020 08:45

Oh @Lozzlepop so sorry you are having a rubbish time. I'm sending hugs your way.

How are you feeling today?

Temp was elevated again today - had a few cramps last night but could have been nothing.
