Hey wondering if anyone else is ttc and in this awful tww. Im 4dpo atm and am hoping for baby 3 to complete our lovley family. It took me a while to decide if this was the right decision. I know I love having babys and being a mum, but was just nervous with two others (4yrs and two yrs). But now im convinced I want it, Ive gone back to being a crazy lady in the tww . The only positive is im extremely nauseous. Ive only ever been nauseous pregnant and it always comes days after ovulation and sex. and Never ends till the babys born. It feels familiar but now once again im nervous! Hope you are all well! Hope theres someone to go through this with me! x

I'm about 9-10 dpo and I caved and I've got a FRER coming today (amazon prime to the rescue!!) there's 2 so I'm going to test first thing. I can't hold off, being to impatient! If it comes up bfn then i'll keep the last one for the weekend. I don't feel too different. Boobs are sore (but they usually are week before af) I do feel more shaky and my stomach is more unsettled. But could be because I'm so nervous! When is everyone thinking of testing?

York28 · 13/11/2019 10:42

Hi everyone, was just wondering how everyone was doing. I am now 8dpo. It’s getting harder to not test early at this stage, I have no tests in the house because if I buy them I will definitely lose all will power. I know I should not symptom spot but my breasts still feel fuller, my resting heart rate has now gone up to 60 (from 52) and I felt nauseous for a few minutes this morning... but I may have stood up to fast! It’s weird how fast a week goes normally but the tww wait drags it’s heels the whole time, trying not to let it consume me but it’s nice to come on here and know at I am not alone.

Lilice · 12/11/2019 23:11

York28 it does make sense, fingers crossed this is a good sign! Xx

Ceri87 · 12/11/2019 14:34

@York28 wow! I wouldn't say your crazy, especially if it correlated before! that looks like a good sign. You know what your resting rate is, so you can tell there's a change...I've read it can pick up at least 10 extra beats when pregnant. Smile it's hard not to pick up on these signs when TTC. I was walking around aldi last month and convinced I was craving gherkins (I never buy them) so put them in my trolley. Ate then from the jar every day and as soon as I got my AF I haven't touched them since!! Now that's crazy!! This is more reasonable for sure. Fingers crossed for you x

York28 · 12/11/2019 10:26

Ok ladies, I am trying not to symptom spot. But I got my weekly email from Fitbit last night and it told me my resting heart rate was up to 58 today it is now 59 today. I am normally 52/53. I have gone back through all my data and the last time it tracked up like this was in May when I got my bfp (got bfp on 1st, think I ovulated around 18/19 April). Sadly that ended in missed miscarriage (But interesting think I can see when it failed (22nd may, massive heart rate drop). I have attached pictures of end of April/start may, and also of this month of it tracking up, I think the peak on 4th/5th was ovulation as it coincides with OPK. I have gone though all other months in between and can usually see ovulation peak but heart rate has dropped back afterwards. Sorry for the long post, am I crazy? Reading too much into it?

@Lilice Hi 👋 it’s still early days of you have been trying since August. And as @Ceri87 says you could be in with a chance still depending when you dtd prior to ovulation. Good luck.

HE88 · 11/11/2019 20:04

@Ceri87 @Mrssendy @York28 thanks for your kind words Smile hopefully some baby dust comes my way and your way too xx

Ceri87 · 11/11/2019 19:04

@Lilice I left a big gap and I caught very easily on my first 2! It's my second month trying so still early days but I'm 32 and I'm wondering if it'll be as easy this time around...think I took it for granted that it would be easy. I did read that your fertility window is the 4-5 days before ovulation too as that's how long sperm can stick around. If you DTD in the days before there could still be a chance this month?

Lilice · 10/11/2019 20:17

Hi I'd like to jump in too as I'm also trying for the third. I had been thinking about for about a year and finally decided to start trying in August. My first two are 4 and 6. They were both conceived so easily, first try each time. I thought it would happen straight away again. I wish I would have just started last year when I felt the time was right. I'm becoming obsessed now! I'm 36 and now worried I left it to too long. I tested several times like a maniac before AF the second and third month, but last month I just waited for her to show and she sure did! I think that's what I'll be doing from now on as getting too many BFN brings me down. I had a strong positive opk yesterday with cramps, it was negative today so I guess I have now ovulated. My husband came home drunk tonight after watching the football, very frustrating as I was hoping to DTT tonight 😞

Mrssendy · 10/11/2019 19:57

@justmumming uh oh I might have to check Amazon! I'm not even ov yet and I'm already crazily symptomps spotting! 🤦🏻‍♀️ what is it with women hormones and craziness?! Haha!

Hi @champoopapi good luck and hope this is our lucky cycle!!! FX

ChampooPapi · 10/11/2019 19:24

@justmumming I'll jump on as trying for number 3 as well. First is 9, second is twenty months, both girls. We really want a third to complete our family so this is our first month after a miscarriage last month.

Testing around early December, I'm going to leave it a good week or even two until my af is due to test (if I can physically control myself!)

York28 · 10/11/2019 19:13

I am desperately trying to hold off buying tests. I have one at home, regular not early, I may test a couple of days early but if I buy them now the temptation to test from 8/9 dpo will be so so high and while it’s possible to get a positive test then I know it’s better for my mind and bank balance to try and wait.

justmumming · 10/11/2019 18:44

@Ceri87 tell me about it all i can think of is chocolaaaaaate

I'm really fancying cake now guys!!! x

justmumming · 10/11/2019 18:12

guys the hormones have well and truly got to me im a bit crazy. I ordered loads of first response tests on amazon to arrive tomorrow (two pack for £5! bargain) So i can entertain myself all week !

@York28 Thanks lovely! And could I please have the crumble? haha! x

York28 · 10/11/2019 16:48

@Ceri87 symptom spotting is the worst! I am just gonna allow myself the thoughts and not beat myself up for having them, but try not to obsess... saying that my breasts feel fuller, not sore per say just heavy.

@justmumming do you think crumble would work as well as cake... as that is what I have just put in the oven 😂

@HE88 sorry to hear you are nervous, wishing you good luck TTC

@Mrssendy sorry to here about your MC hun. Baby dust to you to. Actually baby dust to all!

Mrssendy · 10/11/2019 16:11

@justmumming Maybe we should eat lots of cake during the TWW! haha!

@HE88 I hope after the Laparoscopy things will get easier.
Good luck and hope you will get the lovely BFP soon hun!

@York28 I'm very sorry for your MMC :( I had funny cycle in the first 6 months after MC as well, guess it's just our body trying to go back to normal. But it is definitely not fun having ridiculous cycles when we're TTC. Wishing you good luck and sending lots of baby dust hun!

@Ceri87 Hope those are good signs! Good luck hun!

Ceri87 · 10/11/2019 15:27

@HE88 sometimes taking a break helps, but I can imagine after trying for so long it's nerve wracking to begin the journey again! Maybe after having the laparoscopy things maybe easier this time around. Fingers crossed for you!! Sorry to hear that @York28 and being 10 days late and getting a BFN must have been awful Sad I'm 5-6 DPO and I'm symptom spotting like crazy! It's going to be a long week. My back is aching, boobs are sore and super tired. But I get like this week most cycles a week before AF...so not sure why I'm reading in to it differently ...

York28 · 09/11/2019 17:15

Hi, can I jump on too. I am TTC child number 1. Had a missed miscarriage in July and have been TTC again the past couple of months. My periods after miscarriage have been normal EXCEPT last cycle when my period was 10 days late. Exceptionally cruel when TTC. This cycle I used OPK to give me a ball park figure of ovulation. OPK, EWCM and libido would suggest I ovulated on CD17 and that would make 4dpo today. And no matter how hard I want to not symptom spot and relax it’s impossible!

HE88 · 09/11/2019 15:22

Hi hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread I'm ttc #2 for 2 years now. I've recently just had a laparoscopy to treat endometriosis. I'm currently on my period so will start ttc again as I gave up for a while. I'm quite nervous about trying again.

justmumming · 09/11/2019 09:53

@Mrssendy haha any excuse to eat and Im thereCake I think I was stressed trying to stay slim and get pregnant and my body was like just choose one hun! I was like well daym i choose cake then

Mrssendy · 08/11/2019 23:33

Justmumming I really like the fact that you ate a bit more and fell pregnant! Might have to try to eat more - or just an excuse really.. haha! Anyway! Good luck to you and I totally agree with just relax during the holiday and have loads of WineCake! ;) then get busy after new year! xx

Mrssendy · 08/11/2019 23:30

Ceri87 thank you so much for your kind words! Relax they say and it'll happen. But it just so hard to relax isn't it?? Haha! I agree with you it's not easy to not symptoms spotting! FX and good luck hope af won't show her face on the 19th for you! Xx

Ceri87 · 08/11/2019 15:28

It's so easy to get consumed by it all, it can take over for sure! I've been reading so much around conceiving, using apps and OPK to track! If it doesn't happen this month I'm going to try to be more laid back about it and just let it happen next month. Feels to clinical at moment Hmm my AF is due 19th so will try to hold out to test! I do feel gassy, and more tired but could be any number of reasons! I'm reading into every symptom @mrssendy I've read breast feeding can decrease chances of conceiving so fingers crossed this next cycle is the one...try not to feel helpless, sending positive thoughts to you!!
