Hi

Right that's it. I've been brave enough to start a new thread to look forward to a summer baby next year. I really don't think I am going to be successful for the spring. But at least if we fall now, hopefully we can have summer 2008 off to enjoy the sunshine.
Does anyone care to join me?

Libralady xx

good luck one & all

Morning all. Can I join in? Dh has finally agreed we can throw out the contraceptives, and try for no.2. Please can someone explain the terminology - what are cds?

looneytune · 29/08/2007 09:17
  • Moodymoo knows my cycle better than I know myself!!

Updated......

Looneytune - CD7 of 2nd cycle ttc #2
Moodymoo - CD11 of 2nd cycle

moodymoo · 28/08/2007 19:51

Hi Looneytune - definatly want to do the counting as I loose track of where everyone is ( by the way are you cd2 or cd6?). Wander why this thread is so quiet - the september thread is really busy, and I don't recognise half of the people so feel like a newbie again over there .
Looneytune - CD2 of 2nd cycle ttc #2
Moodymoo - CD10 of 2nd cycle

looneytune · 28/08/2007 15:28

Just a quicky before getting younger 2 up from their naps....my period did come in the end and now I'm CD6. Moodymoo asked if we are doing CD's on this thread, must say, I like that if everyone else does? If you do, copy and paste this and add your own:

Looneytune - CD2 of 2nd cycle ttc #2
Moodymoo - CD10

Tigerschick know what you mean - I do think that there are times when being in here helps and times when it just gets you down. Have been like that myslef lately, Haven't been on here since early last week - mainly beacause I have been too busy but I could have found the time if I had really wanted to - I just didn't want to focus so much on ttc this month as just builds my hopes up.
Anyway back into the swing of things now - have started using my clearblue monitor and I really think it has helped me relax - dh is liking it because he can have sex when he wants to now rather than when I demand it - much more fun {blush). Just had our first anniversary which was lovely and have a short break booked at end of next week in the yorkshire dales which am looking forward to - am sure will do us both good and take our minds off ttc.

tigerschick · 27/08/2007 11:26

Hi. Thanks moodymoo.
Been trying to keep off these threads for a few days as was getting rather low. Feeling much brighter now, got loads of cm today (sorry - TMI) so dh's luck is in tonight Well, you never know.

Hope everyone else is well and happy

moodymoo · 21/08/2007 20:40

Tigerschick , keep your chin up. Hope you are able to stay positive

tigerschick · 21/08/2007 19:02

Hi all

Found out today that I haven't ovulated this month, despite the clomid. So, roll on next month!
Looks like a summer baby at best, no "spring-sprog" for me!! (Sorry, normally hate that word, but the alliteration was too tempting to avoid )

Hope everyone is well and keeping positive

moodymoo · 20/08/2007 18:15

Hi - How is everyone doing? Tried to catch up on the weekends events on the August and September threads but lost the plot. Have had a long day at work and my brain is on strike. Finally got my period yesterday after a week of hide and seek, so am now CD2. Are we doing cd's on this thread? Am going to try and be more relaxed this month. It's my first wedding annoversary this weekend, have a table booked at the hall where we got married for a meal on Sunday, bd'ing should be guaranteed I reckon, and then have a few days in the yorkshire dales in 2 weeks so again bd'ing should be guaranteed, and I won't have any time to analyse every little symptom or worry about if i am pg or not.

tigerschick · 18/08/2007 08:11

I know what you mean libralady.
It's the same when people get their BFPs - so happy for them, but miss them when the hop over to the ante-natal threads.
Hopefully we'll see them again soon - there, not here, of course

libralady · 17/08/2007 18:37

Hi tigerschick,
It's great but bad at the same time (iyswim) seeing familiar faces on these new threads.
Lets hope it will soon be our time.

This looks like the thread for me - the monthly ones are OK but I think it really brings it home when you move from one to the next with startling frequency!!

Still hoping for a late Spring/early Summer baby but we'll wait and see.
Best of luck to us all

libralady · 17/08/2007 17:10

Welcome Bellie,
Sorry it doesn't appear to have worked out for you in the spring thread.
Don't worry about the rambling/ranting as mentioned in the other thread. We can all get like that at times and sometimes it's easier to sound off at those who don't know us but can somewhat appreciate what each other are going through. I have found that I have really opened up on MN. In RL there isn't anyone I can talk to apart from DH. No one else knows we are ttc.

I concede! Summer it is then!

Sorry,
That was meant to say looneytune. My fingers are a bit dislexic this afternoon.

I'm still waiting for my period but I'm 99.9999% sure it's going to be coming due to how I feel plus the fact that due to all the other stuff I was feeling earlier this month, I don't think we ended up doing it much/at all when I actually ovulated. Soooooo, do I count? Can I join in?

LT xx

moodymoo · 17/08/2007 15:28

Like your thinking Libralady - can't say it hasn't crossed my mind, and if we time it right not only do we get the summer off but also christmas.
