Hi all,

AF arrived today so thought I would start a new thread....feel free to join.

First cycle since MMC and ERPC on 1st October, following BFP straight after implant removal.

Bit odd for me, first proper AF in a few years.

Hoping this is the month!

@Talcott2007 congratulations! That is much clearer 🥰

Tamalama · 03/12/2019 09:37

@Talcott2007 I think it looks positive to me! How many dpo are you?

Flossie333 · 03/12/2019 09:37

@whatsthecraic91 ah I'm sorry hun, but at least onto the next cycle now. No AF for me yet, but I went to the gym this morning and got the worst cramps when on the treadmill which has happened before and AF has come, so I'm expecting her to arrive today 😤. Keep you posted xxx

@Blondeandbroody thank you- I'm going to do the same I think- a lot cheaper too! Xx

Talcott2007 · 03/12/2019 08:47

Arrghh! I couldn't resist testing again! But it looks a clearer line than yesterday doesn't it?!?! I feel utterly awful with this cold - it's all gone on my chest now too and obviously can't take any of the good medicine if I am actually pregnant!

@Flossie333 I’ve been taking folic acid only but also got some pregnancy multi vitamins from Asda which seem to have all the right stuff in for TTC and pregnancy. They were £3.50. May switch to then when/If I get my BFP! @cerios156

Blondeandbroody · 03/12/2019 08:38

@NicolaScot you sound exactly like me and my “story” only you are 6days ahead of me post ov! Wait until the weekend and test again, most early tests say 5 days before you’re due 10dpo in a average cycle and even then it’s not 100% a true result so wait for as long as you can xx

Good luck and keep us updated!

waitingformyturn · 03/12/2019 08:23

@GeminiCancer I would say yes how many dpo are you?

whatsthecraic91 · 03/12/2019 08:13

@Flossie333 AF is here! How are things with you?

Blondeandbroody · 02/12/2019 22:58

@geminicancer
I dunno if mine are playing tricks too haha cause I always assume I should find a line when somebody posts because you’ve obviously seen or thought you’ve seen one otherwise you wouldn’t post but yeah I definitely see a faint line!

Try again tomorrow, keep us updated 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

GeminiCancer · 02/12/2019 22:18

@blondeandbroody
According to my app I should be 19dpo. I don't really monitor much of the other stuff like cm or temps or anything so who knows how accurate that is. 😅
I'll test again in the morning. Thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so thanks so much for the input! X

Blondeandbroody · 02/12/2019 21:56

@GeminiCancer
I can see a very very faint line making a +
Maybe wait a day or so and try again? See if it gets darker. Or try a different type of test? What stage are you at dpo? X

GeminiCancer · 02/12/2019 21:54

Is this positive?

@whatsthecraic91 totally agree! Well good luck Hun and let me know how you get on xxx

whatsthecraic91 · 02/12/2019 20:00

@Flossie333 thank you! I have mine crossed for the both of us 😊 I will just use an IC in the morning, I used a clearblue this morning but learnt today that they aren’t that sensitive 🙁 I couldn’t get a FRER yesterday and I’m not going to buy one until I get some sort of line! At the minute don’t even care if AF shows then at least I’ll know where I’m at 😂

Flossie333 · 02/12/2019 17:42

@whatsthecraic91 really crossing everything for you! ☺️☺️☺️ God it's so hard isn't it. Well I did my last FRER this morning and have promised myself not to buy anymore this month and to just wait until AF shows. I came of the pill almost a year ago and my cycles have ranged from 31-35 days (with one seriously rogue cycle in June which lasted 49 days).... god I am hoping that doesn't happen again this month!!! Can't bear the disappointment really and now almost want AF to come so I can get started with the craziness all over again 🤪😅

whatsthecraic91 · 02/12/2019 17:26

@Flossie333 I feel different too it’s really hard to describe! My boobs feel massive and heavy and they never give me trouble! I have never been pregnant either, I have been TTC since January this is cycle 11 for me so I am hoping this is my Christmas present 🤞🏼 Are you testing in the morning again?

Flossie333 · 02/12/2019 17:02

@whatsthecraic91 I am exactly the same- 14 DPO, BFN but usual symptoms are all the wrong way round and I just feel 'different' this month. Have been having cramps on and off all week (and don't ever have them before my AF starts) and normally my boobs are sore and they aren't at all. Im clinging onto hope which is silly but have never been pregnant and so don't know what to look out for really. Is this your first time TTC? X

whatsthecraic91 · 02/12/2019 13:19

14DPO and still BFN! I have had brown spotting once or twice a day for the past 2 days, no cramps at all, my boobs are like bricks with sharp
shooting pains in them and sore nipples & I have some heartburn/nausea. I usually have bad cramps and never have sore boobs so I am convinced but tests say otherwise! Also I have never got to 14DPO - AF always comes 11-13 DPO.

Do you think I’m out? I have just have such a strong feeling I am pregnant 😕

Chlob83 · 02/12/2019 12:57

Thanks cerios156, think I may give them a call today. Could have been a tear...but wouldn’t say there was anything painful or obvious at the time or since to suggest that!

Flossie333 · 02/12/2019 12:35

@cerios156 thanks so much- yes I think I will stop them and just take the plain folic acid I got from holland and baratt. The pregnacare ones also turn my pee radioactive yellow 😂

cerios156 · 02/12/2019 11:22

@Flossie333 I take a folic acid supplement, a vitamin D supplement....and a chewable kids vitamin lol.

I eat pretty well so don't want to be overloading my system with a flood of vitamins to the point where I'm way over my RDI, but still want to have my bases covered for days when I eat meh. The kids vitamin has less in it than an adult multi, and my GP has given it the okay.

Plus, waaaayyy cheaper than dedicated preconception supplement. I'll look into something a bit more heavy duty once I'm pregnant, but for now it works for me.

cerios156 · 02/12/2019 11:17

@Chlob83 Hmm. Nine days does seem like a pretty long time, but I'm not an expert and have never experienced implantation bleeding firsthand.

I'd say your GP wouldn't mind you calling in about unexplained bleeding that's been going on for over a week.

Is the flow/amount of spotting constant from day to day? Do you have any cramps? How long are your periods usually?

Also, you said you bled bright red after sex. Were you and your partner particularly rough that time? Might possibly be a little tear that's still healing.

If it's not implantation bleeding and you're positive it's not a period, I'd check in with the GP.

NicolaScot · 02/12/2019 11:13

Hi all, I hope you don’t mind me joining, I’m 7 DPO, first month trying. I came off the pill in October, had a withdrawal bleed and then a ‘real’ period. Been using opk this month and got myself all hyped up that we’d be first time lucky! Couldn’t resist POAS (I know it’s far too early though!) this morning and unsurprisingly got a BFN.

Trying to resist the urge to test again until the weekend. Not sure when AF is due, as I’ve been on the pill for so long that I don’t really know what my normal cycle is.

I’ve got a banging headache today and my mood is all over the place, but I do suffer from PMDD, so that could just be AF on her way. It’s a shame that I had just found a pill that kept my PMDD at bay, but I’ve obviously had to come off it to start trying.

Glad to find some company anyway and sorry for the long post! x

Flossie333 · 02/12/2019 11:02

@Chlob83 thank you! I’ve read quite a lot that the pregnacare ones can do strange things to people’s cycles. But also read that people love them and know that everyone is different. Arrrrgh I just want AF to come now so I can just get on with it again!

Kaylab2489 · 02/12/2019 10:48

Sorry forgot to add
And sorry for tmi
But I haven't had any bowel movement for a few days but have been very gassy and dulll lower back pain generally just don't feel myself 🤔
Didn't know I was pregnant last time until I was 3days late
