@xblx go to doctor ASAP tomorrow, you are pregnant in my books... This faint line is a line. Is there any twins in yours or your partners families?

Courtney555 · 10/11/2019 12:25

Ok.

Step back. If you're pregnant, you are. You have been for weeks. There's something affecting the tests.

If you're not pregnant, literally what else can cause the consistent positives?

xblx · 10/11/2019 12:18

That's a boots test

There's a line there. Really faint.

I don't understand how your lines are this consistently faint over such an extended period.

It's crazy!

xblx · 10/11/2019 12:04

Am I just crazy? Just did this from boots had lots of water and wee about 30 minutes before

Honestly, throw those one steps away! This was my tests Thursday at 4 weeks (hcg bloods of 96 day before) the one step is there but look at tr others! Both are 20MUI tests (cb and clear and simple)

I can see a line there.

Courtney555 · 10/11/2019 09:58

@xblx

This is just so bizarre. You're 2 weeks off not having a period for 2 months, getting faint lines on some tests and negatives on others.

Hats off to you. I'd be going spare with the frustration by now.

Surely lines should be darkening even a tiny bit? How rare is what you're experiencing?

I really don't want to mention this as it's not intended to be a boast when people are TTC, but when I mentioned before that I'd been tested for an X ray and got a line so faint that the first doctor said it looked chemical, and the second doctor (I asked for a second opinion) said no, your not pregnant that's an evaporation mark... That chemical/non pregnancy has turned out to be twins.

My line was almost non existent. But it then darkened ever so slightly over the coming days. Still never registered as dark as ten years ago with singleton DS though. Which would support the "too much HCG negates the line"...

xblx · 10/11/2019 09:42

I had a negative one step today x

@xblx hi, I really hope that hook effect is torturing both of us here and nothing is wrong 🌻 So confusing and upsetting!
I should be ( 5weeks +4 ), but my positive still looks very faint... no progression of it getting darker.
But I feel pregnant, and I swear to god my tummy has changed ( mild cramping every day for the past 3 weeks indicates the growth), my breast are getting bigger and it's not just me that thinks so - partner pointed this out and he is totally convinced it's much bigger. Discharge is also all as per "perfect pregnancy" description. So consider and worried!

I have an appointment with doctor tomorrow for blood test and overall check up as that fest drives me mad.

Maybe I should have followed my friends advise and stop reading and stop testing... She only tested positive at 7 weeks, and had a healthy pregnancy, became a mummy to a beautiful boy just over a month ago.

Yeah, I had a chemical back in June and this is what happened to me. I’m sorry Op, I hope that isn’t the case for you x

xblx · 09/11/2019 20:33

@Mooey89 I think so to, this is been going on for 2 weeks now, I Hurd about the hook test, If you have to much hcg it can make the test negative, so I tried it some of my wee and some water and came back positive 😳

OP posts:
Mooey89 · 09/11/2019 20:28

I can see positives on all your recent tests OP, so I think you are pregnant.
I do think they are getting a little darker but see your GP, it might be a chemical. I hope everything works out for you

xblx · 09/11/2019 20:16

@Mrsmummy90 I had a negative after that x
