@Annny27 yeah that's what I am leaning towards aswell... why can't it just be straightforward eh!!
We DTD yesterday anyway and will (try to) DTD for the next 3 days aswell, I'll test with another cheapie when I get home and see if I get a peak on that!

Of course you have a chance, the doctor told me every other day throughout your cycle was more than enough so don't worry xx

Annny27 · 02/08/2020 09:06

@gems7 ahhh thats so confusing! I dont really know how the clearbkue ones work but I so know that it calibrates to your levels so maybe the new monitor doesn't understand your LH spectrum yet???

I would trust the old one tbh!

I have ovulated now. Didnt dtd on ovulation day as was way too tired but dtd the day before and today (day after)....think we still have a chance? 🤞🤞

@msunflower gave you ovulated yet?

@Missgoldilocks after our half arsed dtd this morning, if we haven't conceived this month I am giving the syring emethod a go. What pack did you get from amazon?

Gems7 · 02/08/2020 08:53

I test with cheap ones off amazon too but they haven't given me a peak yet.. 👀
Don't know how reliable they are though? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Gems7 · 02/08/2020 08:52

Girls please can you help me out..
Today = CD13
I've had a couple of days of flashing smileys so far, testing twice a day for the last few days..
This morning.. opened a new box of clearblue's, used the new monitor and got a blank circle..
I was like what the fuck is happening!!?!? 😩 flashing to negative.. No peak!

Panicking, went back to the bathroom, managed only a dribble this time in the pot because I'd literally only just been.. used the old monitor and got a solid smiley face..
would you say I've just got my peak then? Off the dribble.. or would you trust the blank circle off the new monitor? 🤯 xx

Gems7 · 01/08/2020 17:01

@msunflower The first week usually does but the second week is a draaaaaaaag! Xx

msunflower · 01/08/2020 15:57

@Anny27 @Gems7 CD13 for me and got my peak today, it sounds like we all peaked about the same time this month! 🤞🏻 for us all and here's hoping we all get a BFP this month! TWW for us all now/soon, hoping it goes by quickly!

Gems7 · 01/08/2020 14:08

Hey huns, sorry I've been absent for a few days, been so bloody busy!!
CD 12 for me, got my flashing smiley last night so just waiting for it to be a solid one 😊
Doing SMEP this month and thankfully was my day off yesterday so didn't have to DTD in that bloody heat 🥵 we have DTD this morning in much cooler climates 🤣
@Annny27 glad you got the progesterone, it it could be the answer for you! I was convinced I had a progesterone issue and the agnus Castus was the reason for my BFP, I daren't take anything other than pregnacare now though Incase it was also the reason for my MC.. it probably had nothing to do with it but we are our own worst enemy aren't we, spent so much time thinking "what if it's because I took the agnus castus" "what if it's because I went for that long walk" "what if it's because I went to sleep on my left side one night and not my right" 🙄 crazy aren't we!! Xx

Missgoldilocks · 01/08/2020 14:05

@anny27 lovely to hear you got your peak today :) nope I haven't I have a while yet before starting I'm cd7 will start on cd12 xc

Annny27 · 01/08/2020 13:19

Got my peak OPK this morninf at cd14 :)

Have you started with the syringes yet @Missgoldilocks

@gems7 any close to ovulation too? 🤞🤞

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 23:26

My opk is nearly peak as well @msunflower so probably ovulate on 2 days (cd15)!

Yep will be thankful for cooler weather for the next dtd 😅

msunflower · 31/07/2020 19:11

@Annny27 haha same, I was literally thinking the same thing now my opk today has come up as ovulation today/soon 🤣🙈 will be worth it, hopefully! 🤞🏻

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 09:29

PrettyTulip · 31/07/2020 06:10

Annny27 · 29/07/2020 21:20

@Missgoldilocks he has prescribed me some progesterone to take after ovulation as I sometimes get luteal phase spotting and he says it May help. But overall he said its just a waitint game and there's no tests they can do really as I ovulate, tubes are clear because we got pregnant, sperms fine because we got pregnant.

Interestingly he did recommend the self insemination method if it all gets a bit too much with dtd!

Missgoldilocks · 29/07/2020 19:58

@anny27 how did it go? X

@PrettyTulip it's fine, you both will be fine I bet ya as soon as they pinpoint and give you what you need to help you ovulate... Smooth fucking sailing. I'm rooting for you and I know how frustrated you must be with trying for so long, but your time is coming lovely I can bet on it xx

Annny27 · 29/07/2020 10:16

@PrettyTulip haha yes probably 🤣 good thay everythings okay with him though:D

Yes will let you know how it goes! I imagine today will just be running through what tests to have and stuff

PrettyTulip · 29/07/2020 09:53

@Annny27 ooo interesting! I bet you're excited yet nervous for that. Keep us posted.

Hubby had his results back yesterday. Just a text from the NHS to say his recent tests came back as 'normal' 😂 greaaaaaaat I'm the problem then 🤣🤣 xx

Annny27 · 29/07/2020 09:24

Morning girls :D got my fertility consultation this evening so I am excited/ apprehensive about that :D

@prettytulip thats good thay your hubby has had his analysis - did they say when the results will be back?

@msunflower good luck for this month!

msunflower · 27/07/2020 21:31

After a possible early MC/CP last month (first month ttc #1), I finally had AF arrive about 10 days late, but have now started SMEP today on CD8! Fingers crossed for a sticky bean this month 🤞🏻How is everyone else doing?

PrettyTulip · 27/07/2020 10:27

@Annny27 my drs are pretty good so can't imagine my referral will take long to come through in the post.
My husband had to do his DIY sperm analysis this morning and then drop it to the hospital within an hour. The hospital has asked him to go via our local private hospital (the hospitals work together) so fingers crossed he may get his results very quick. I'm sure he's fine tho.

Hope the rest of you are okay. And yes I agree, I think I'd happily abstain from sex for a loooooong time (never, ever, thought I'd say that 🤣) xx

Annny27 · 27/07/2020 10:20

@gems7 that made me cry laughter haha. I am sure all of us would happily never have sex again at this rate haha!

@Missgoldilocks did AF arrive? :(

@PrettyTulip yeah I think a private prescription of clomid would be perfect. I genuinley think you will catch so quickly after you take some ovulation help!

Missgoldilocks · 25/07/2020 13:17

@Gems7 😂😂 no I haven't but I've had pink tinged cm when I have a bowel movement since like 10dpo so it's coming either today or tomorrow. Xx

Gems7 · 25/07/2020 12:31

@Missgoldilocks sorry about your BFN, have you tested since then?
@Annny27 AF just finishing up, CD5 today so just behind you, will also start DTD every other day from CD7, can barely contain excitement 😴 haha
Xxx

Missgoldilocks · 25/07/2020 10:30

@anny27 I was just thinking about the chore of dtd during fertikr week, syringes are in my amazon basket I'm defo doing self insemination this month. Can't be fucked for it all. Good luck x

@PrettyTulip I'm okay thanks, keep us posted about your updates xx you could get clomid on private for £100 instead of waiting xx
