Early December testing?

Here you all are! I got list for a while there and couldn't see where the thread had gone. Have I missed much or are we waiting to test soon?

Hey ladies, I hope you dont mind me joining. I'm just on my first month of trying. I have been tracking my ovulation and I apparently ovulated 6 days ago. Omg the waiting game is killing me. I am bloated and tired but no other symptoms. And this could be from coming of the pill a few weeks ago.
I've been reading all your journeys and I am sending baby dust to you all . 😊😊

@FingersCrossedXXX they are pricey!! I'm 27 and I have a 8 year old son. I literally told myself I was pregnant the first month fml because I've been pregnant on the first month a few times. Oh that's good then! At least your body doesnt have to get back to normal then x

@Robbo93 ah babe glad they are doing blood tests. I'm getting af pains full force now right on time! You know I was sure this month was a weird ovulation cycle, I didn't have any EWCM and I didn't have my normal ovulating pains I had really really bad cramps on my day of ovulation! It only happens when I ovulate from the right side but I ovulate normally from the left side!? I'm going to tell the docs that! X

Hi ladies.
Hoping I can stop myself going crazy by testing early and holding out until December.
Last cycle was 28 days and opks were very clear.
This cycle I'm confused by my body, I'm cd15 and no positive opk. Yesterday I had EWCM so I think I will have ovulated. I'm not too sure if I messed up with the opk testing as yesterday I drank loads of water so it would have been diluted, that's a thing isn't it?!
AF is due 28th Nov, so we shall see if I can stay strong!

@Ellsbells112 Made me want to take another test when I get home now but it's pricey to take 2 a day!

I haven't been in contraception for almost 2 years but have been using condoms/withdrawal method!

@Robbo93 I am sure it will happen soon. I think these chats are quite good at bringing you down to reality and seeing that it isn't going to happen as quickly as we may like! I'm obsessing already on month 1 so can imagine your frustration!

How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

No, I haven't got GP appt but I have started the ball rolling already with the hospital so currently having my bloods checked with them! Xx

Ohh okay, so also I've read that you get a better reading during the afternoon sometimes with the ovulation strips but that they should be done twice a day so you dont miss your surge! If you have enough I'd say do it once in morning and once early evening if you can! Let us know how it goes, did you just come off contraception? X

@Ellsbells112 Thank you for the warm welcome and advice. Yes, the line is still faint so a while to go. I am only testing once a day and on cycle day 12. I have bought some cheap ones for now and will see how I get on but may upgrade in the future!

It's so strange, who would of thought we'd be excited to see cervical mucus!

@Robbo93 Fingers crossed for you that it is implantation and not AF!

@Ellsbells112 I haven't checked. My spotting usually starts with a pink tinge so I'm guessing AF is on her way! Sooo annoying!

Ahh that's wonderful news! But just so you know ovulation sticks need to be as dark as the control line to be a positive. A light line is a negative! The clear blue digi ones I've heard are great I've just bought them for the next month of trying! Also if you get EWCM (egg white consistency and colouring discharge) this means you're fertile if you get it it's a good sign and you should try on those days! Not everyone gets it though...I only get it some months xx

I got home and went for a wee, wiped and still nothing .. clear tissue and a little watery mucus.
Felt like I needed to no2 whilst I was there, so I did, wiped & now there's a little pink tinged mucus! Ffs! 😭😭

May I join in too? I'm new to this forum and have just been reading all the comments!

Me and my husband are trying to conceive with our first. This is our first month of trying and don't think I have ovulated yet. This is also the first month I am actually tracking my period and tbh I am not sure what my normal cycle length is as I haven't paid too much attention before but I think it is fairly long! I am using OPK's and the glow app. According to glow I ovulate on the 20th which could be right as so far all of my OPK's have given really light lines!

Will be great to have somewhere to obsess over this .

Good luck to all of those hoping for a BFP before the month is out!

@Gems7 I know but sometimes it's just like oh fuck off I know its going to happen but bloody when?!? Lol like I actually cant help but not like the phase "you arent out till af arrives" because I know that but ffs I dont want to be let down again after a bfn and still be hopeful then bleed and cry lool probably why I shouldn't have done a test in the first place but oh well Haha...ahh it will happen lol 🧐🧐🧐🧐

Seeing a bfn is always really horrible babe we should try and not do it! I'm in another thread and loads of ppl got bfps andi thought maybe I can too! But nooopee ahhh x

@Gems7 oh babe I know!! We all have those days it is so unfair!! I think that's why its hurtful to us because we want it so bad and are doing everything we can to make it happen and then other people it just happens to! But you're only 8dpo girl it's still so early you can implant up.to 12dpo! I known its hard to keep the faith I'm.bascally sitting here saying I am.out and looking to the next cycle because I cant hope anymore it tears me up! @Robbo93 @Ellsbells112 TTC SUCKS!! if I have to hear anymore stories from people about how they got pregnant without even trying or got a BFP at 8DPO I think I may have a meltdown. 😞
I'm having "one of those days" today. Someone at works daughter has just got pregnant without even trying whilst taking contraception and I'm like HOW!!?? 😭
I don't think this is my month either, I am 8DPO which I know is still early but I don't feel anything at all and I'm pretty sure I would do. I'm really in tune with my body and can just feel that I'm this isn't my month. Not trying to be a Debbie downer girls but I'm struggling today. I so desperately want to give my OH a baby too, he doesn't have any children either. Thank god I have you guys to rant to. Xxx

@Ellsbells112 you're still in the game until AF arrives missy. You know as well as the rest of the us that AF symptoms are pretty similar to EP!

I'm starting to feel down too tbh. At least with a shorter LP I'm put out of misery quicker.. I took a cheapie test yesterday (silly, I know at PREDICTED 9DPO) and it was a BFN. I just don't want to waste my FRER on a negative :(
I am starting to think it's neverrrr going to happen and I feel so guilty knowing how badly my DH wants to have a child. xx
