@Robbo93 yes exactly! Also I just have this stupid sinister voice in my head saying things like "too much scarring in your womb from the abortion and your c section" 🤦‍♀️ I swear I'm my own worst enemy for gods sake. I just need to relax it hasnt even been that long and I'm losing my mind like "there must be something wrong" lol 🙄 I am going to try soooo hard to not be anxious and think about negative stuff seriously 🤦‍♀️🤣
I need to start watching I'm a celeb!

@FingersCrossedXXX
If your cycle is 30+ I'd say you ovulate a little later lole day 17?? If you arent certain for now just DTD as much as possible this month and mark the days where your ovulation strips were the darkest and where you got egg white cervical mucus etc you can use it as a bench mark for your coming months
Just call this month a trial run 🤣 that's what my first bloody was lol haha

FingersCrossedXXX · 19/11/2019 19:52

@Robbo93 When do you normally ovulate and how long is your cycle? I definitely think mine is 30+ days but can't be certain!

Who's your fav so far? I like Caitlyn Jenner and James Haskell. What the hell was Adele's luxury item about?!

ChampooPapi · 19/11/2019 19:46

@JEMMA18 I think if you have to take a test apart it's a negative. I'm sorry but it is a good rule to live by to not get your hopes dashed again and again. Just throw the dam thing away and test when your period is a day late, we are with you here all waiting too Smile

Robbo93 · 19/11/2019 19:40

@Ellsbells112 yes glad everything is okay for you, doesn't help when you've not been able to conceive yet tho does it.

@FingersCrossedXXX yes I've been watching I'm a celeb!
I ovulate later in the cycle but generally have longer cycles than the standard 28 days x

FingersCrossedXXX · 19/11/2019 19:38

@Ellsbells112 That's good that they are all normal though!

@Robbo93 Haha, totally get what you mean and we've only just started the journey. It's not quite the same when you know you SHOULD be doing it, rather than wanting too.

It seems that I always seem to have higher peaks on my OPKs in the morning but still don't think I've had a bloody positive. I'm on cycle day 17 now. Does this seem like a long time to anyone else or am I just being impatient. I have nothing to go against as it's the first month of tracking. Maybe I've missed it??

Anyone been watching I'm a celeb?

Ellsbells112 · 19/11/2019 19:26

@Robbo93 I have to agree about the chore part 🤣 I cant wait to have sex just because I want to lol Haha
How are you? Maybe your body is trying to regulate with the b vitamin you started??
I'm ok, went docs today didnt help much jutst got all my blood results that i got last month and all of them were normal (progesterone, lutenizing hormone etc) so that settled me a bit. Xx

Robbo93 · 19/11/2019 16:20

@FingersCrossedXXX honestly, TTC has made DTD more of a chore than something to enjoy. I can't wait to get back to doing it because we want to rather than because we have to.

Yes we're trying for our first x

JEMMA18 · 19/11/2019 16:02

Afternoon ladies. Just a quick question. Have any of you taken a test apart to see if you can see a line more clearly. I took one apart last night and seen a faint pink line in the test area but it was super super faint so its probably nothing. Took one today and nothing... oh it's so confusing. But AF is due tomorrow so I will give it a few more days I guess.
Hope your all doing well :)

FingersCrossedXXX · 19/11/2019 15:35

@Robbo93 Ha, not judging at all! I'm making my OH do it so much now, that I can imagine we'll have had enough of each other after ovulation! And they say romance is dead!!

Sorry, I can't remember as there are so many messages but did you say this was your first?

Robbo93 · 19/11/2019 13:12

@FingersCrossedXXX thanks hun but I do feel I'm out this month and my body is playing tricks on me. I last had sex 2 weeks ago (don't judge 😂) which would make it 2 days before this new suspected ovulation date ((we did use preseed then so sperm should be living their best life..)) xx

FingersCrossedXXX · 19/11/2019 13:09

@Robbo93 Its all starting to sound pretty positive...perhaps wait a few more days and take another test?

Robbo93 · 19/11/2019 13:04

Unless the small one wipe bleed I had the other week was from ovulation (I don't normally have ovulation bleeding..) and I'm now actually about 12DPO instead of the 15DPO that I think I am?

Robbo93 · 19/11/2019 12:51

Afternoon ladies. Not sure what's going on with me, felt nauseous most of the evening and this morning (but not too bad that it was unbearable)..
I've had like, 2 drops of blood this morning mixed in with a lot of CM making it look almost orangey and now back to nothing again 🤨 I was convinced AF was coming but what I had wasn't even enough to be spotting?! I'm so confused

Gems7 · 18/11/2019 21:44

@FingersCrossedXXX Thankyou 😗 xx

Gems7 · 18/11/2019 21:42

@Ellsbells112 really.. I will have a look for it. Thankyou. My gp apt isn't for (just over) another 2 weeks so I'll do some research and make sure I'm doing all I can. Thanks for your help. I was a bit clueless when she told me that but I knew there would be things I can take to increase it. Glad to hear you've got some blood tests booked aswell to rule anything out. It's always good to cover all bases isn't it xx

Anny27 · 18/11/2019 20:14

@ChampooPapi it will be strange to actually be ttc again as i will admit we havent dtd very often during pregnancy so it will be a shock haha!

How long did it take to conceive the first time? Good that youare back into the planning :)

Yes, unlucky but next pregnany will hopefully be a better outcome :D

ChampooPapi · 18/11/2019 19:56

@Anny27 I am, I haven't had a period in-between as I just got back into things, imagine I'll be still ttc in December but I needed to get back to trying.

After going through everything you have I can see why your waiting. But you will recover quickly so as long as you get a negative test and the bleeding has stopped you can try again. It was a positive for me personally to feel like I was looking forward and planning again, but I did just have a straight forward d&c without the complications you did. You have been through a lot, the last few weeks must have been an absolute nightmare, it's such an experience. It'll happen for us, we were just unlucky 🤗

Ellsbells112 · 18/11/2019 19:54

@Gems7 also, you can buy agnus castus also known as vitex, real cheap as a herbal remedy to increase progesterone x

Anny27 · 18/11/2019 19:47

@champooPapi I am in two minds, i was quite ready for ttc again last week but after all these complications and now i am on antibiotics and iron therapy i think its probably wise for me to let my body recover a little bit!

Are you on cycle 1 after your miscarriage now?

ChampooPapi · 18/11/2019 19:36

@Anny27 if you feel ready and have stopped bleeding you can start before your period. I started ttc 2 weeks after my surgery, it's completely fine if you've stopped bleeding

Ellsbells112 · 18/11/2019 19:04

@FingersCrossedXXX well I certainly do that 🤣🤣

FingersCrossedXXX · 18/11/2019 18:55

@Ellsbells112 Same, defo put on a few pounds this year and just not feeling so comfortable with myself. That's what married life does to you, we've got too comfortable Grin Does it still count if I put on something sexy and turn off the lights???

@Gems7 Like Ellsbells said, I'm sure it's something they can treat with some medication and hopefully give you a better chance going forward. Try not to worry.

Ellsbells112 · 18/11/2019 17:40

@FingersCrossedXXX yeah you know what I'm probably over thinking bloody anxious woman that I am 🤣🤣 just a couple days late 🤷‍♀️ itll get heavier tomorrow.
Oh I know what you mean, I've recently put on some extra pounds (never been a small.girl anyway) but yeah horrid! I'm currently cutting down on calories till Australia lol bikinis...here...I...come??

@gems7 I'm no expert but your progesterone should be normal, it's what helps pregnancy along in the beginning I think. They might give you some sort of medication to increase progesterone? This increasing your chances of pregnancy and of it sticking Xx

Gems7 · 18/11/2019 17:34

Girls help me out.

I had 21 day blood tests last weds, I've just called to make a follow up apt and the receptionist said there was a note saying low progesterone. What does that mean? That I didn't ovulate this month?
Xx

FingersCrossedXXX · 18/11/2019 17:26

@EllsBells112 Perhaps I'll have too! I've got stuff I could put on tbf but just don't feel confident in most of them!!

Yeah, maybe it's just better to go with the flow and do it as often as possible (I say this but I'll still be peeing on sticks for the months to come Grin).

Hmm, mine is always light for the first day and then comes full force the second day. Good you've got an appointment though tomorrow. They should be able to give you some comfort.
