@charlie0692 sounds like you covered yourself well as the sperm can live up to 5 days. I'm 5 or 6 DPO and had some spotting this morning. AF not due for another week but that's a bit too soon for implantation bleeding. How is everyone else getting on?

charlie0692 · 28/11/2019 20:18

@falkor32 congratulations!! I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy 😊 how is everyone else doing? I'm not sure how many dpo I am at the min, I'm on cd 17 and I got my static smiley on clear blue ovulation test on sunday morning, so maybe 1 or 2 dpo now? No idea to be honest. Af is due around the 6th so not sure if that is a long enough luteal phase? But we will see next week 😊 not massively hopeful this month as only managed to dtd once (on monday) since I got my static smiley, managed 3 times last week when I had flashing smileys but think they may have been too early. X

falkor32 · 28/11/2019 19:57

Thanks everyone 🙂 ... still doesn’t feel like it’s happening, like it’s not fully sunk in.

@Lizziedu49 yes it’s my first ever BFP 🙂

Hope you’re all doing okay x

zeeeex · 28/11/2019 19:27

Hey I hope you don't mind me joining in!

I came off the pill mid October and haven't had a period since 22nd October... I've been having really bad cramps for about two weeks now, back ache and fluctuating temperatures. I have an exam on Tuesday so I've vowed that I won't test til after it's done and dusted!

🤞🏻

Ellsbells112 · 28/11/2019 19:11

@falkor32 congratulations!! Lovely to see such a strong bfp xx

How is everyone doing? I'm OK still no positive ovulation test but only cd11 x

FingersCrossedXXX · 28/11/2019 15:32

@Falkor32 That made me laugh about shoving it under his nose.

Has it sunk in yet?

Anny27 · 28/11/2019 13:49

Congrats @falkor32 :D

Gillsg141290 · 28/11/2019 13:04

@falkor32 congratulations. I love seeing post like this it’s so exciting.

Has anybody ever experience a sharp pain in the ovary region post ovulation

Lizziedu49 · 28/11/2019 10:22

@falkor32 is this your first? Congratulations 🥳❤️

falkor32 · 27/11/2019 20:48

Yeah, he was - I ran downstairs and shoved the FRER under his nose and then ran of to do the CB test for more reassurance 🤣

FingersCrossedXXX · 27/11/2019 20:38

@falkor32 Such a nice surprise! Was your OH there when you tested or are you planning to surprise him?

falkor32 · 27/11/2019 20:29

Thank you both so much, it’s still not sunk in 😬

@FingersCrossedXXX my boobs have been slightly tender the last couple of days but they have been on previous cycles so I tried not to read into like I have before. I noticed a bit of white CM today and I’m normally a bit more dry before AF.

That’s literally been it, both extremely subtle. I was expecting AF to start today as it seems to always start 13/14dpo and took the test on a whim to stop myself wondering!

So shocked (esp how dark the FRER lime was), now so anxious about the next part 🙈 currently a mix of so many emotions.

FingersCrossedXXX · 27/11/2019 20:04

@falkor32 OMG! Congratulations! Did you have any symptoms??

Robbo93 · 27/11/2019 19:53

Wow congratulations @falkor32 there's no questioning that beauty!

falkor32 · 27/11/2019 18:42

The FRER came up in seconds, I can’t believe it I’m in shock I was expecting a BFN!!! Shock

falkor32 · 27/11/2019 18:41

I’m 13dpo and this just happened!!!

Early December testing?
FingersCrossedXXX · 26/11/2019 16:18

@Lizziedu49 Oooh sounds fun! Glad your OH put you at ease. So hard not to overthink everything!

Yeah, I think I ovulated Sunday evening so not sure if I'm 1dpo today or 2dpo... was still getting strong postivies on the OPK yesterday evening. Haven't taken any today.

How is everyone else?

Lizziedu49 · 26/11/2019 15:13

Oh wow @FingersCrossedXXX I see what you mean by we can symptom spot together. I didn't realise we are exactly same DPO 😂
DH came to see me at lunch and I chatted with him about it, he agreed that I should just do my normal thing at the Xmas party as I never have more than 3 or 4 drinks anyway. Like you say, there's more chance that we're not pregnant so no point in wasting a good evening and all that money spent. Ours is my charities 50th anniversary ball so it will never happen again.

Ellsbells112 · 26/11/2019 15:02

@Laur89 not a word @Gigi318 where art thou lol she thought screw this mums net stuff it's sending me loopy looo haha

@Lizziedu49 Ohh that's good, I don't think I will know by then but just a few days after I think :)

FingersCrossedXXX · 26/11/2019 14:11

@gillsg141290 Exactly, I don't want to spend 2 weeks every month feeling miserable because I can't relax and enjoy myself, especially as we don't know how long it will take to conceive!

I have work the following day anyway so at least I have a reason to take it easier.

I know, I at least want to get to the point where i can maybe start symptom spotting but too early for even that at the moment.

Gillsg141290 · 26/11/2019 14:04

Early*

Gillsg141290 · 26/11/2019 14:03

@fingerscrossedXXX I totally agree. No point in stopping everything. The last time I was pregnant I was on a night out and I went home every not because I was pregnant as I didn’t know but because I just didn’t feel great so I think your body will tel you.

Hope you all have a great Christmas party’s.

Why does another 14 days seem like forever when your TTC!

FingersCrossedXXX · 26/11/2019 13:55

@Gillsg141290 @lizziedu49 I was also worried about drinking at the party and posted a comment a few days ago about it. I have decided that I am going to have a good time and have a few drinks, won't go mental but won't spend the whole night sipping on one drink. It'd be so obvious if I didn't drink and I wouldn't want my colleague thinking I'm pregnant, especially if I'm not!

I'll only be 4dpo so it'll be too early to test. If I was a few days later, I'd take the test beforehand to see but some women don't even have a positive until after a missed period.

Laur89 · 26/11/2019 12:20

Ahh @Ellsbells112 exciting! Sure it won't interfere :) is there any word from @Gigi318?

@Lizziedu49 I will definitely be testing on the 6th of December the day before the Xmas party and then again on the 7th to make sure.

I so didn’t know this regarding drinking and implantation. I also am not a big drinker at all but the way my cycle is I may be too early to test before period Is due.
