Congratulations @cautiouspractice 💓

CautiousPractice · 06/12/2019 22:45

I've been crying on and off since 9pm. Over the moon. Just told future daddy, and he is also on another planet. Absolutely in shock. But so so happy. Baby dust and fingers crossed for everyone here

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 22:34

@cautiouspractice yaaaassss!!!! That's amazing!! Congratsssssssss omg so lovely to see!! Thank you for sharing ❤️💖😘🙏

CautiousPractice · 06/12/2019 21:55

I have been lurking in the background for a really long time but never felt ready to join in because it made the disappointment real. Ttc 1st baby for 18 months with pcos. Tonight I tested on a whim, only a day late, not even a 4 hour hold. And looooookkkk!!!!!!!

I'm really not trying to get my hopes up but I'm having af like cramps but not as bad I'm 4dpo and like I checked my cm because I felt wet and there was like lots of creamy cm but also milky white/yellowish stretchy cm? I'm going to put it down to the estrogen surge I think I had today because I had a temp drop and when I researched temp drop at 4dpo that's what it said

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 18:53

@fingerscrossedXXX well boo to that! That's annoying but TV to yourself and wine sounds like a bloody treat.
I'm getting period like cramps just milder. I'm only 4dpo though

@Ellsbells112 @Robbo93 I get so lost with all the CM stuff. I know around ovulation time its a good sign but what about before your period? And what if its only a teeny bit and white but not watery. Wish i'd paid attention before as to when I got it and what it looked like! Didn't think I would EVER be studying CM pictures online to see what bracket mine could go into hahah. So gross.

@Ellsbells112 No, not hopeful at all, pretty certain I'm out. No AF yet but had lots of VERY negative tests. Tried to convince myself earlier (while knowing in my head I'm actively trying to give myself some hope to cling onto) I could see a very faint line if I titled it a certain way, in exactly the right light through a magnifying glass haha! Think I will come on my period tomorrow. Haven't really had any pregnancy symptoms.

Plan to leave work, stick on a film, eat pizza with a glass of wine and snuggle the dog. Hubby is away tonight so TV all to myself.

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 16:53

@Robbo93 hahaha! Yes even watery type is fertile so that's great!! As long as it feels slipper girl so get in thereeeeee xx

Robbo93 · 06/12/2019 16:42

Not quite sure it's EW yet but I'm having to wipe like 5/6 times 🙈 oh how disgusting these chats are hahaha x

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 16:39

@Robbo93 that's such a good sign!! Lots of ewcm? Wohhoo get that bding in!!

Robbo93 · 06/12/2019 16:12

@Ellsbells112 👋 I'm here! CD15 and day 4 of flashing smiley 🙄 have sooooo much CM though it's gotta be near xx

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 15:22

@Lizziedu49 does your af always start like that? How many dpo are you?

@FingersCrossedXXX Ahhh, do you think you have a chance this month? Honestly I know I ovulated and we dtd consistently around it so if I don't I'm gonna lose my fucking mind lol 🙄
Yes I think being fertile over Xmas is a really good time to get to it so I'm hopeful that if not this month then neeeexttt come on!! Lol

FingersCrossedXXX · 06/12/2019 15:13

@Lizziedu49 Could that not be implantation?

@Ellsbells112 I am due on Monday according to the app but i believe I ovulated a day earlier than the app says so thinking Sunday. Will mean my cycles are 36 days!!

Its quite good to know we'll be fertile over xmas though as I feel like thats a good time for baby making, without the stress of work and a few drinks to get us in the mood! Haha. When do you fly now?

Lizziedu49 · 06/12/2019 15:04

@Ellsbells112 @FingersCrossedXXX just went to wee and had brown spotting sorry about TMI 😭 but that is definitely it for me! At least now I can drink on holiday... trying to see the bright side 😩
So I will also be TTC over Christmas too!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you girls!!!

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 15:03

@Laur89 @Gems7 @Robbo93 @Gigi318 where are my original nutters?! You've all deserted me!! 😂

Ellsbells112 · 06/12/2019 15:01

@Lizziedu49 ahh sounds like fun!! I love animals ❤️ dogs cats the lot lol. Good luck to you!! I'm literally trying to tie up everything here and pack! That'll keep me busy. Hoping I'll be violently sick on the plane I'll bloody take it if I'm pregnant!!!! Give it to meeeeeee hahahaah

@FingersCrossedXXX when are you due? I'm fertile over Xmas again too, I ovulate the 30th December. We will be flying back. The 31st! So just about time to enjoy holiday making baby sex!!

FingersCrossedXXX · 06/12/2019 14:17

@Lizziedu49 Its a SIGN! Haha.

Lizziedu49 · 06/12/2019 13:46

@FingersCrossedXXX that's brilliant advice.
I just took a friend's dog for a walk at work and bumped into a lady I know from HR who saw me and said "AH YOU'RE PREGNANT.... I mean getting a puppy" I almost had a heart attack!!!! Maybe this is an omen 😅😂

FingersCrossedXXX · 06/12/2019 13:43

@Gillsg141290 And.......what was the result?

@Lizziedu49 Oh how lovely, my parents dog is a Whippet cross and is lovely, lots of energy and very loving!!

I have a frenchie/boston terrier cross. Considering Frenchies are usually quite lazy, our dog seems to have more of the Boston side and is a complete nutter!

Not sure of tips, we got quite lucky in that he was a quick learner and didn't cause too much trouble...though we are softies and let him sleep in our bed (which I know most people don't like) so didn't have the issue of trying to get him to settle elsewhere in the house. I would say try to socialise him/her as much as you can, even before they can go for walks. We used to take ours to the pub etc (and he would sit on our laps) but it got him used to being in busy environments with other people and dogs really quickly and now we take him all the time!

Gillsg141290 · 06/12/2019 12:57

@FingersCrossedXXX test bought just about to do. Still might be too early though x

Lizziedu49 · 06/12/2019 12:22

@FingersCrossedXXX don't lose hope yet! I keep on holding off weeing as worried about seeing AF 😩
I'm getting a blue and white whippet, I've already named him Louie. What's your dog? Any tips? 🤓

FingersCrossedXXX · 06/12/2019 12:20

@Lizziedu49 Also feel like AF is on the way, been to the loo to check a couple of times. Think I am out this month! Onto the next. Fertile week is over Christmas period with ovulation expected on Boxing day. Vivid dreams sound promising for you though.

What type of dog are you getting? We got a puppy last year and he's literally my world!

@Gillsg141290 Any news from you?

Lizziedu49 · 06/12/2019 10:21

@Ellsbells112 you're only just at the beginning of the TWW then 😩 when is AF due?
I'm ok, been feeling quite nauseous these past 3 days but I'm not reading into that as I am 100% coming down with something as also have a sore throat and non stop sneezing. So feel a little bit poo lol
BUT Sunday I am visiting my 4 week old puppy for the first time AND then visiting my bezzies 10 day old baby (that will hurt) then off on holiday! So I can't complain really as I have an amazing weekend in store to cheer me up 🥰☺️
