Late period - negative test

Has anyone done an early detection pregnancy test (10mIU) the day period was due and got a negative then gone onto have a positive?

I'm going through the same thing! 2-4 days late. Negative test. I'm going to test again on Friday. Xx

Will wait another couple of days and retest.
Dont know if i should book an appointment with the doctor or not.

I did the test yesterday when i was due on so i am going to wait till tomorrow morning and do another and hopefully it will be positive or at least i come on so i can start my next cycle

It wasn't an early detection test, but my DD didn't show up on a pregnancy test until I was 4 days late.
