Late period - negative test

Has anyone done an early detection pregnancy test (10mIU) the day period was due and got a negative then gone onto have a positive?

Hi @Chatbash72, i bet thats very stressful not knowing especially 2 weeks late! I was told doctors got involved after 2 weeks late if your periods are usually all in sync. So i recommend going back if you still havent come on next week and still negative tests and get them to look into it. Fingers crossed for you to have your positive soon 🤞 xx

Just popping over from another thread.. I'm currently day 41... going from last cycle I'm 14 days late.. sore boobs, no af, firm tummy and lots of tiredness.. slight nausea and sense of smell gone a bit haywire.. Constipated ( sorry)
BUT bfn at day 32 and yesterday (40) tried clear blue with the not pregnant wording rather than the lines one... drs aren't interested unless I take another test.. this is vert unusual for my body.. would swear I was preg.. 😱

Hi all I'm in the same boat, been ttc for 17 months but partner was told in the past he has slow swimmers, every month is 26-31 cd but currently on cd35 pregnancy symptoms but only bfn so far including a frer today! I'm trying hard to stop myself testing constantly and trying not to get hopes up! Never this late x

Hi hun 😊 im never late either. With my other pregnancys iv found out before i was due on so i thought definitely i was out, was only 5 days after i was due on did it come back positive. Sending lots of baby dust 🍀🍀

Hi all,

Newbie here today! Smile

My period is 9 days late, never this late! All year it's been CD28-30, Sept was CD32 and Oct is currently CD40.

All negative tests so far, but I've had symptoms and I'm really hoping it's a late ovulation cycle!

Congratulations and thank you for sharing I really needed to hear a positive story like this today. AF due yesterday no signs but a neg test yesterday hoping to wait a few days and test again now Smile
