Anyone fancy a little obsessing? 😂
I'm apparently ovulating today according to peak clearblue yesterday and my apps.
I never used to have such a long luteal phase as it was only 10 days so having to wait for 14 is going to drive me nuts 🙈

It's so true.
I need to chill out really. Just as the months go on I'm desperate now to have a little sibling for our son. He doesn't know about his little brother that we lost. I just keep thinking it's been nearly a year since he was born and what mischief he'd be up to. Then comes the guilt because it was a termination for medical reasons so I start doubting myself.

Anyway, time for a coffee and get some stuff done while my 4yo is at nursery.

I'm not sure how any of it can be an exact science because you don't know what the swimmers do! Apparently they can reach the egg within 30 mins or can hang around for days...up to 5 days I think?!

Got my flashy smiley face today so will try and dtd this evening..

Lauraliverpool · 05/11/2019 08:38

Here's hoping@Treaclepie19 you never know might just have timed it right. This ovulation business is so hard to get your head around, mind boggling springs to mind.

Treaclepie19 · 05/11/2019 07:36

Oh and as for symptom spotting I've noticed my sense of smell is insane (but that's nothing new), I'm crampy and achey, sore hips and tired.
All of which are normal on the run up to af anywho.

Sounds like you've got it covered @Lauraliverpool! 🤞🤞

Even if you do hit a drought @TigerJoy it sounds like there will be plenty of swimmers ready!

I reckon I'm 6dpo today. No idea why im even pretending im in the game. I reckon at best we only managed it the day of ovulation and I cant even know for sure since I'd stopped my opks.

Lauraliverpool · 04/11/2019 20:47

Here's hoping so 🤞🤞🤞I've done that before and only realised when was down to the last dribble haha 😂😂

TigerJoy · 04/11/2019 20:09

Tbh that sounds like enough in the fertile window! Nhs recommends every other day for a 5-6 window and once on peak is great. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞

I remembered to do opk but I literally "failed"...@%#& ...said do again but I had finished peeing! 🤣🤣🤣

Lauraliverpool · 04/11/2019 19:42

@TigerJoy lol it's me that's a bit annoyed trying to explain to hubby how's there's only so many days each month that's the chance of pregnancy.
Ooh sounds promising! We did on two days of high and one day of Peak so hopefully there will be a chance. It's hard sometimes trying to remember doing opks on top of everything else. X

TigerJoy · 04/11/2019 19:10

Hi all I'm ok

@lauraliverpool I'm confused who is annoyed at the lack of hanky panky?

Confusingly me and DH have been at it like rabbits - for us - this week. Every other day! All before my fertile period so plenty of time for us to hit a drought though! 🙄🙄🙄

Today was supposed to be the first day of my fertile period but I managed to fail the opk test - will leave it til tomorrow now.

Lauraliverpool · 04/11/2019 17:55

@Treaclepie19 I'm ok, been feeling bit fed up last few days, was hoping we'd have tried a few more times but no after hubby saying he realised we'd stopped after I got peak on the ovulation test couldn't help but feel bit annoyed and now today I've got some backache. How are you? Hope you're all ok girls! @Gigi318 @TigerJoy xx

Treaclepie19 · 04/11/2019 17:47

How's everyone doing?

Saying that, I think cd15 was ovulation day. I'd been doing opks but stopped just before because I sort of gave up. We will see I guess! I'll be testing friday because I have an appointment Saturday that I might need to contact.

Treaclepie19 · 03/11/2019 08:14

Oh wow! Congratulations @bellebox19!!
We only dtd on cd15 and I had a 23 day cycle last month so I really can't see it happening but who knows!

OP posts:
bellebox19 · 03/11/2019 08:01

@Treaclepie19 I thought the same! We only DTD once last cycle and it somehow worked. It was almost like it did actually happen when we thought there was no way it'd happen. I've been lurking here a while lol. I haven't posted in over a week x

Lauraliverpool · 02/11/2019 20:11

Hi girls, not doing too bad, managed to dtd 3 times, hoping tonight too but not sure with hubby being tired after working on the house. Thank you @TigerJoy, hope you're feeling better now! Fingers crossed@Gigi318 exciting for ovulation day!. Hope you're ok @Treaclepie19 and are feeling better soon!.

TigerJoy · 02/11/2019 12:04

Oh and fingers crossed @gigi319 🤞🤞🤞

TigerJoy · 02/11/2019 12:03

Great @lauraliverpool! Fingers crossed for this month

@treaclepie that's just life for you! We've had months like that - if you're both poorly / snotty you are just really not in the mood. Once can be enough though!

I'm on day 9, started doing ovulation tests 2 days ago, still obvs getting a negative but got the hang of it now. Don't know why I was so reluctant to use them before. Oh and I didn't realise but after you get the "high" indication you can test more than once a day

Dtd just for fun yesterday (after 3 weeks of us both being poorly and not being up for it) and it has cheered us both right up! This next week everything is lined up - DH has a relaxed working week, so do I, we're both finally healthy...🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Treaclepie19 · 02/11/2019 10:21

Exciting @Gigi318!!
Cd18 and kicking myself for not trying more this month. We just weren't well enough.

Probably a week until af comes. Unless it's a longer cycle again.

Hi ladies! How are we doing? I'm now CD12 I think and getting closer to O 🙌🏻👏🏻

Lauraliverpool · 31/10/2019 19:49

Was thinking I might not have got one. As I've read it can take only take the one time. Trying with PMA as much as possible. X

Treaclepie19 · 31/10/2019 18:53

Woohoo! That's good news!!
Cd16 here and just counting down to af because we've only managed once and that was yesterday. I know theoretically that could still be ok but I doubt it.

Lauraliverpool · 31/10/2019 18:25

Well girls I finally got static smiley on ovulation test day 13.

TigerJoy · 31/10/2019 11:42

@Treaclepie19 don't worry, I'm sure it was fine. I know that feeling though!

I'm a bit sinusy so have been waking up feeling hungover for a couple of weeks without having any booze. SO annoying!

I'm day 6 today so going to start weeing on sticks from now on. Ovia says fertile period starts next Monday - DH has been on difficult shifts for a bit so no trying for a bit but hoping to start again soon....not just for the sake of conception!!!

Lauraliverpool · 30/10/2019 21:09

Here's hoping @Treaclepie19 here's hoping so! Oh noo 🙈 I remember having a hangover for about a week.

Trying to not think about it too much @Gigi318 trying to keep occupied.

Treaclepie19 · 30/10/2019 20:54

@Gigi318 yeah just feeling a bit silly. I've not done that in a long time. I was a mess! We all were though so it must just have been one of those parties.

Wondering how long my cycle will be this month... last one was only 23 days. I have an internal ultrasound on day 24 so bit nervous. I need to let them know if my period has come or if I'm pregnant and I possibly wont even know!
