Anyone fancy a little obsessing? 😂
I'm apparently ovulating today according to peak clearblue yesterday and my apps.
I never used to have such a long luteal phase as it was only 10 days so having to wait for 14 is going to drive me nuts 🙈

Awwwh yes @TigerJoy that's something positive to take away from this isn't it? That like you say the old fashioned way is just as effective for you both as IVF is. Got everything crossed for you. Xx 💞

TigerJoy · 11/12/2019 16:51

Thanks @lauraliverpool

We'll keep trying and I'll let you know if anything happens. In a sense the good news is that the old-fashioned way is as effective for us as Ivf so DH has approached this with renewes vigour! To every cloud there is a silver lining!

Lauraliverpool · 11/12/2019 13:44

@Treaclepie19 I hope you're ok as much as you can be thinking of you and sending you a hug 💞

@TigerJoy sorry to hear about your appointment, going to keep everything crossed for you. 💞

Treaclepie19 · 10/12/2019 21:00

Thank you ❤ Oh @TigerJoy what a day. I'm sorry the doctor didn't have better news. I will still keep all crossed for you. Definitely have that gin tonight.

Lots of hugs @treaclepie19. They say you don't move on from grief but forward with it. I hope that this week is bearable for you.

Appt was I guess ok. Doc was very moderate about the future possibilities. Chances are not good. And are as about as good doing it the old-fashioned way as with ivf - both of us have limiting conditions which would mean it would be expensive-£8k a pop. We'll probably give ivf a go anyway though. Also found out i have endometriosis. Fun times today. I'm having a gin!

Treaclepie19 · 10/12/2019 15:59

I'm sorry @TigerJoy, I hope the appointment goes well Flowers

@Lauraliverpool I'm up and down but managing thanks. Its been a year since we were told how poorly our baby was. This week is going to be rough.
I hope the doctors are helpful ❤

Bah. Another month, another negative pregnancy test 😔 honestly we gave it such a good shot this month

IVF appointment today and I kind of don't want to go. Dh is very reluctant. We can at least see what they say...

Lauraliverpool · 03/12/2019 22:31

Hi @Treaclepie19 we only DTD once last month so not holding out much hope and can feel the familar twinges of af. I've got an appointment at the fertility clinic on 30th December voiced my concerns to my gp about shortness of period length most 2 to 3 days, being light etc, concerns about ovulation. How are you? X

TigerJoy · 03/12/2019 12:51

Thanks! Still waiting to hear from IVF clinic BUT it's my fertile period now and we've DTD a few times despite OH night shifts. Not sure if it's the prospect of saving £5k by getting there naturally or whether the prospect of outside intervention has stung his pride... :D :D

I got my peak pee on a stick thing last night (felt like it yesterday afternoon and checked in the evening) and we dtd both yesterday and saturday morning (and Thursday!). Fingers crossed!

Treaclepie19 · 03/12/2019 11:42

Thank you ❤ I'm awaiting af still. We didnt dtd at all this month so its just a matter of time but obviously it's already 2 days late.

How are you doing @Lauraliverpool?
@TigerJoy still keeping everything crossed for you :)

Ah I'm so sorry @Treaclepie19. Best of luck for the future and big hugs xxx

Lauraliverpool · 14/11/2019 16:15

@Treaclepie19 thinking of you today and really hope everything works out for you in the near future. Lots of love to you. Xxx

Lauraliverpool · 14/11/2019 16:12

Could possibly you getting over the bug can take some time to start feeling back to normal again.

Treaclepie19 · 14/11/2019 09:56

I'm off for a bit ladies. We're back to not ttc. It's too painful at the moment as we approach our little ones birthday. 11 months since we lost him today.

Wishing you all the best Flowers

Well I've been getting over a bug so hard to tell but definitely not ill and the last 3 evenings I am just completely wiped out after work. Normally after dinner I'd watch some tv or read a book but I've been too tired and gone straight to bed / slept on the sofa then gone to bed.

Lauraliverpool · 14/11/2019 05:59

I'm really hoping so that I am just got to be positive, onto a new cycle after af. I've been feeling so tired lately too. Is this recently you've been feeling tired and the backache, cramps?

TigerJoy · 13/11/2019 23:00

At the risk of sounding silly if you've ovulated that month isn't it likely you are every month? That's what I've assumed. Then again I've always been way too optimistic about everything

Sorry about af ❤

I'm beyond knackered and been going to bed really early - slept for more than an hour on the sofa this evening and feel like I'm getting af although it's not due for 8 days. Knackered and getting lower back / abdominal cramps

Lauraliverpool · 13/11/2019 11:49

I'm 38 will be 39 next march, I had blood tests at the miscarriage clinic and they all came back normal, one of them was projesterone and it came back at 50 so I ovulated then but have no idea if I have been since and I know the only one to find out will be asking for the test to be done again. Just need to know if everything is ok and to top it off I think af has shown her face. Surely they're going to do something.

TigerJoy · 12/11/2019 22:49

Might be just because I'm basically geriatric. I had blood tests for hormones and internal ultrasound. Showed all bits basically in working order except for condition which makes conception and carrying to term harder 🙄

I've since been referred to NHS fertility clinic and a condition for being seen is having had all these things done so think gp was getting ducks in a row

Apparently they can do other tests e.g. check whether fallopian tubes are blocked.

No idea of course if they'll actually offer me any treatment as I'm well past the age for IVF on the NHS

Lauraliverpool · 12/11/2019 20:58

Did you @TigerJoy? I'm wondering if my GP would refer me as they're aware of what's happened. Just been reading about various vitamins that are supposed to help with conception etc.

TigerJoy · 12/11/2019 20:45

I got that scan at the request of my gp, maybe they can refer you?

Lauraliverpool · 12/11/2019 19:15

It seems to have increased today so just think it's a matter of days before af shows. Starting to get me down now. I only know that of a couple of months ago I ovulated and that was the blood test that was done at the hospital and have no idea if I have been since, I'm considering having a private fertility scan where they do a thorough look at everything like uterus, the lining, ovaries etc. Hate all the waiting that comes with this, arrgh!

TigerJoy · 12/11/2019 17:08

I'm the same, not had mid cycle bleeding the last 2 cycles but test in the summer showed I ovulated then...

I have quite bad abdominal pain anyway at the mo so not sure what's going on. Feel much like normal otherwise! Af not due until a week Sat so I have aaaaaages to wait...

Lauraliverpool · 12/11/2019 09:49

@TigerJoy backache last few days and dull crampy feeling hoping not af but think it will be soon. Was reading about people taking CQ10 vitamins TTC and might try these if I'm not pregnant, starting to worry a bit now that I might not be ovulating. How are you doing?

TigerJoy · 12/11/2019 07:10

How's it going ladies? Any news? Any symptoms?
