Hey out there!

Thought I'd start a little thread to see if anybody will be in the same boat.

Finally decided to start our TTC journey! Very excited and a little nervous!

This will be our first baby, I'm 28 and my husband is 27. We have been together over 8 years. I have already started taking folic acid with vitamin D to get used to taking it.

Looking at TTC after we are back from our holiday to New York in November.

Currently on Cerelle and been on this for 4 years before this I was on the implant and then before this another pill from about 16.

I have no idea about cycles and not really had regular periods since I was 15!

Feel free to join and tell me your story if you are going to start your journey around the same time! SmileSmile bye for now!

But that could have been your positive! Sometimes the LH surge is very short xxx

Loubell19 · 23/12/2019 13:56

@LuluRM it's better to test 10am to 11pm as most LH is produced in the morning :) so FMU tends to be fainter xxx

LuluRM · 22/12/2019 14:58

Thanks @Loubell19. Got a less clear line this morning so a bit confused 😂 I’ll keep testing over next few days. Would have bought the clear blue one as looks a lot easier to use but it’s a fortune! Xx

Loubell19 · 21/12/2019 17:08

Hey @LuluRM almost there.. I would recheck this evening and tomorrow as well. Looking for same colour or darker than the control x

LuluRM · 21/12/2019 16:14

Hey, anyone got much experience with ovulation tests? Got this is morning, when you do reckon I should retest as don’t want to miss ovulation! Thanks xx

Sperm meets egg plan @JayJ0 Google it it should be the 1st result! Theres a few threads on here of people trying it! I know exactly just think when babies are born well look back on all this and wonder why we got so stressed! May as well enjoy all the BDing before life completely changes! Xx

JayJ0 · 17/12/2019 21:25

Ooo what’s SMEP?

Yeah Christmas Day bubbles sounds amazing hehe!
I send all you ladies baby dust it’s so sad when af arrives and you desperately want to be pregnant but at the same time it’s all part of the experience pregnancy goes so fast and then babies grow so fast so enjoy every minute of the process I say, even the conceiving part! :) xx

Loubell19 · 17/12/2019 20:56

Sorry to hear that @JayJ0 😞. It is a consuming isn't it! Guess we just have to try and relax and be realistic as it's only 20% chance each month even with the correct timings. Baby dust to all of us ❤ exactly I'm already dreaming of my xmas day bubbles 🥂.

I'm going to try SMEP for cycle 2 as it seems a lot of people have success with it. Worth a try 🤷‍♀️ xx

JayJ0 · 17/12/2019 20:19

Hey girls! I started bleeding today so looks like I’m out! So gutted but I agree with use I totally need to just let it happen and try (even tho easier said then done) to not be so obsessed and thinking about it every second! This 2 weeks has felt like forever to me and I’ve looked in to every tiny symptom and now I just feel really silly! Here goes for cycle 2! Guess I can have a little drink over the Christmas period x

Loubell19 · 17/12/2019 15:24

Thanks @LuluRM need to learn to chill about this whole process and bring on cycle 2 x

LuluRM · 17/12/2019 11:29

@Loubell19 sending you ❤️ Xx

Loubell19 · 17/12/2019 06:48

100% @LuluRM. I think I might be out this month anyway now 😞 had a temp dip this morning and getting pms symptoms so definitely not testing now unless AF doesnt arrive friday x

LuluRM · 16/12/2019 23:41

Omg absolutely @loubell19 I’ve decided I’m not buying any until the day I’m due my period (let’s see though 🙈). Last month I had all the symptoms and nothing so I’m going to try not waste my time overthinking any more xx

Loubell19 · 16/12/2019 20:52

I know it feels like all logic goes out of the window 🤷‍♀️ @LuluRM xx

LuluRM · 16/12/2019 19:18

Aw thinking of you @Loubell19 the wait is awful! I’m telling myself now to try to “let it happen” and I’m trying to get to accept that it could take up to a year but let’s see how I feel on my two week wait 🤣 xxx

Loubell19 · 16/12/2019 16:17

I'm trying to resist the overwhelming urge to test in the morning (10dpo) someone please talk me out of it 🤣

Loubell19 · 15/12/2019 10:18

Keep us posted @JayJ0 frer are much more sensitive! X

JayJ0 · 15/12/2019 08:50

Thanks @Loubell19 this is today’s test I’m about 13dpo going to do a FR tomorrow to see what that says x

Loubell19 · 14/12/2019 10:28

@JayJ0 I'm 6dpo now. Apparently with the FRER they recommend 11-12 dpo the earliest that would be assuming you implant no later than 10dpo so I guess ideally test on the day of your expected period . Fingers crossed for you that it doesn't take as long this time! You're defo still in with a chance this month x

JayJ0 · 13/12/2019 18:12

Ok just read online that recommended to take a test 21 days after the last unprotected sex and I’m only 11 days past so fingers crossed I’m still in with a chance!

JayJ0 · 13/12/2019 18:08

@LuluRM I’m not due in for another 4 days but I’m just not feeling hopeful now I feel like we DTD so long ago (11days ago) I feel like it would show by now?! Eugh i no im just being impatient but with my third child it took me 11 months to get pregnant and it was the most deflating time month after month I really don’t want it to be like that this time x

LuluRM · 13/12/2019 17:44

@JayJ0 I read something online that said the most accurate time to do it is the day before you are due onto your period. I’m going to try and hold off this month until then but we will see! Xx

JayJ0 · 13/12/2019 16:17

@Loubell19 how many days dpo are you now? I’ve tested about a thousand times and all are pretty much negative! How many days after DTD should you see a positive ? Does anyone no?

Loubell19 · 11/12/2019 12:20

Thanks @JayJ0 you too! Ah yeah defo wait and retest! I'm gonna test 13dpo 🤞 x

JayJ0 · 11/12/2019 11:43

@Loubell19 yay that you got a positive opk! That’s exciting and a relief I bet. I have everything crossed for you :)

I’m only 9dpo so I’m just being really eager I can’t help myself this wait seems like years lol.. I’ll test again over the weekend x
