Hi ladies . I’ve just finished my period today and my husband and I are now going to start ttc our first baby after having my Mirena removed last week.
Is anyone else TTC this month ? I’ve ordered some ovulation tests after I said I wouldn’t because I’ve read so many success stories on them so I thought I might as well just so I have some in case !

I’d love for people to share their journey with me ! I’m 24, 25 in two weeks . So excited for our journey . I’m trying to figure out this whole lingo on here and stuff sorry! X

@LH1987 congratulations!!! I bet your so excited. Please keep us posted on your progress! And any tips for spotting early signs 🙈 xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 14/11/2019 20:31

@Itemily yes much harder than I ever expected it too be, consumes your life. Why doesn’t anyone warn you about it. How long are your cycles I’d say if your regular half that it will roughly be about then I know some people are late and early but most will be in middle of cycle as body needs egg to mature before release. Yes aim for when you AF is due and you can’t go wrong.

JEMMA18 · 14/11/2019 20:31

@itsemily
Aww, I've been up and down. It's crazy because I feel good within myself but bloated and heavy haha and sluggish physically. Yeah your right it's way to early, but I will try to hold on to hope that it's stuck lol.

Yeah I think we covered it, every other day around ovulation or sometimes every 3 days but
Yeah, after work and tiredness does seem to have its problems doesn't it. Like we dont want it to be a chore or add pressure but we need to time it right lol. He often wakes me in the middle of the night but I apparently get moody and have none of it but I am unaware 🙈😥lol!
How are you finding it with dtd often?
The spots is a good sign I've heard though!!! I have my fingers crossed for you. When would you be due to test?
The dreaded wait is sooo hard isnt it.

GaaaaarlicBread · 14/11/2019 20:25

@jonesbabynumber1 It's an awful feeling isn't it?

And I really couldn't even hazard a guess as I thought I ovulated a week ago, then got more EWCM, then a creamy stretchy CM, now back to just paste, so I could be 10DPO, 4DPO, I have no idea at all which is making me feel worse. I am going to test next week if AF doesn't arrive. My nipples are very sore, and I had dizziness today and as previously mentioned, my spots are awful. So it could either be AF or PG symptoms, I am all over the place :(

@itsemily funny how you wrote that as I was just reading a thread where people have got their BFP some on their first try and I was feeling all emotional and sorry for myself on cycle 3. I held in the tears as my husband would be asking what’s wrong and he thinks I put to much pressure on myself as it is. I feel emotional for the whole TWW. People keep saying stop stressing and it will happen and that makes me stress more about how much I’m stressing. If you had to guess what dpo do you think you are?

GaaaaarlicBread · 14/11/2019 19:56

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm feeling emotional tonight, not sure why. Maybe because DH is on a late at work and I'm by myself, but I just keep crying. Worrying I think. I have read people check their cervix and if it feels a certain way then you are possibly pregnant. It's made me panic etc but a lot of people have also said that it's not an accurate reading for a lot of women. Do you ever feel emotional?

@LH1987 please give us some tips lol x

Congratulations @LH1987 any tips on what worked for you? @Itsemily I think that’s the best way to do it no tracking just doing if and when you can. Fingers crossed for some BFP this month

LH1987 · 14/11/2019 18:43

Thank you so much ladies, for those messages and all the support you have all given me. Flowers

CurbsideProphet · 14/11/2019 17:44

@JEMMA18 I know how that feels unfortunately.

@LH1987 congratulations! Flowers

LH1987 · 14/11/2019 16:49

Hi @Itsemily, thanks for asking. I got really lucky and am currently 9 weeks pregnant. Which is very nerve wracking . How are you doing?

Hannahb26 · 14/11/2019 16:47

I'm out this month. First period after two years of the coil and feeling absolutely rotten about it. Onto next month. Good luck everyone 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Jonesbabynumber1 · 14/11/2019 16:45

@itsemily yes I feel like I have no idea what anything is any more. How many DPO do you think you are? I always get spotty in the TWW with the changes in hormones plus the stress it creates.

gemgem1404 · 14/11/2019 16:44

@Itsemily thanks for asking just coming to the end of my second cycle AF is due on Saturday, feeling nervous and a bit crampy 😬. How're you doing?

GaaaaarlicBread · 14/11/2019 16:29

@rosabuddy @LH1987 @lou1904 @Niffler1988 @gemgem1404

@JEMMA18 I have been wondering how you are!
6dpo is way too early to test, definitely don't lose hope , it's still early. And I keep thinking that re: symptoms but I genuinely think symptoms etc are very generalised and a lot of people don't get symptoms until about 4 weeks anyway, so I keep trying to remind myself of that but I know it's hard.

Did you give it your best shot? Do you find it hard DTD with DH around work etc? I'm feeling OK, I had a few rough days but feel great now but very spotty (as in on my face not spotting blood), but I am trying to just think 'It's just spots' rather than a symptom.

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm no help sorry as I have no idea if my cramps are ovulation pains or not. I constantly get stomach cramps usually because I've sat funny lol

Hey ladies,

I've been keeping an eye on how you are all doing. Theres nothing new for me to report really. I am 6po and silly me took a test yesterday to get the bfn.. it's way to early I know but I'm so inpatient 🙁 I literally have no symptoms so I think I'm out this month.
How are you all feeling ?
I totally agree it's so hard when people are falling pregnant when not trying and I see babies all around at the moment 😥

Jonesbabynumber1 · 14/11/2019 14:12

Hi, @notalwaysalondoner I am doing all the same as you temping, opk and cm and I don’t ever feel I have a definite answer of when I ovulated. When your temping are you doing it at the same time as I found even by doing it an hour late it changes the outcome, but I wake up at various times in morning so finding temping hard. I believe I’m 2/3 dpo does anyone else getting cramps this early on?

GaaaaarlicBread · 14/11/2019 13:57

@notalwaysalondoner Yeah I am just gonna chill now because it's stressing me out again. I am getting het up about DH shifts and stuff but why can't I just switch off and think 'if it happens it happens'?? I am thinking about being pregnant every minute of every day! It's horrible!! Three people I know have just announced they're pregnant as well and I'm just like agrrrrr haha
I wish DH was up to DTD more than he is , and I literally have no idea if I have ovulated now because my CM has just gone creamy again so who knows. We will soon see if AF arrives within the next week

OP posts:
notalwaysalondoner · 14/11/2019 13:10

I do - to be honest I’m checking so many things right now and yet the trouble is you don’t really know the exact ovulation date until afterwards. Temperature only shows you after there’s been three consecutive daily rises, OPKs its hard to tell the strongest surge until after they go down again, cervix its hard to tell, same with CM... its like right now I have literally ALL the signs but I still couldn’t tell you if actual ovulation day was yesterday , today or tomorrow! I think that’s why it’s good to just aim for every other day DTD and not get too hung up on timing!

GaaaaarlicBread · 14/11/2019 08:26

Do any of you ladies check your cervix ??
