This is my test this morning. I had to take out the first response casing because I got something on the test screen and it then wasn't clear. But here are the results. What do you all think?

I've just took a frer myself and I'm only 8dpo but there is this really faint line. When I first peed on the stick the line was white then it settled to a very very faint pink colour. I am still early on so I am going to test again tomorrow but this next 24 is going to be agonising!!

@30somethingandtired oh an 8 year age gap is nothing my youngest is 11!I've also got a lovely 6 year old step daughter so she kind of helps bridge the age gap.

I know what you mean but I am so impatient I mean the whole chemical pregnancy aspect does worry me and I won't be relaxing for some time since.. I'll probably obsessively test now daily. I'll be referred in for an early scan because of the previous ectopic.

I'm going to Benidorm in two weeks for my best friends hen do.... I'm sure that will be eye opening sober!

I think in regards your early testing it's completely how you feel yourself. I had cramps and 4&5 dpo, sore boobs, weird dreams and I'm very bloated (although that may be the wine ) I don't think at 7dpo your likely to get an accurate result - I tested yesterday at 8dpo and there was literally nothing.

Hi everyone so many messages in the last day... so I'm 9dpo today and I decided to test tonight and it's a very faint but definite bfp. Still very early and as I had an ectopic the beginning of the year so trying not to get too excited!! Going to test in the morn with my frer!
I went to my mums wedding last night and drank quite a few glasses of wine after testing yesterday and a stark white bfn.. so now I feel terrible!

I think I ovulated last Sunday night/ early hours Monday so 6-7 dpo now.

@Kayleigh0713 thank you, it does help to know I'm not alone! I just feel mental, every cycle I start off with good intentions to keep busy and not symptom spot then the minute O is confirmed it all goes to pot. I guess it's because it's all out of our control at this point so you have to put that energy somewhere...
the next week cannot go quick enough! I'm supposed to be going out for drinks on Friday. Would only be 9dpo but tempted to test... 🤔 we shall see.

Hey @SMiles14 I know how you feel I literally feel mental, everyday I'm constantly thinking is this a new symptom or questioning how do I know if implantation has occurred etc. Its so horrible just proves how much we want a child. Good luck though another 6 days or so and you should be able to get a result if your testing early. I'm going to test again tomorrow and see what happens with that then leave it and wait until I'm due AF.

Well I'm sick as a dog today! Me and dp have both come down with a bug. If the twinges I've been feeling were implantation I really hope the copious retching I've been doing today hasn't caused any problems 😷

Argh I am only 4dpo and I am driving myself crazy symptom spotting! If anyone has any facts/ reasoning/ anything you tell yourselves that you can't argue with that would be v helpful! I KNOW it's not possible yet, and I KNOW this is not helpful but I can't stop!
Specifically I'm getting cramps, creamy cm and my temp just keeps rising. Pathetic aren't I?

@Lew2016 hey! I ovulated on 29th September it's literally only been a week today. Im trying to stay positive but because of the timings of when we had a sex and the very little symptoms I do feel I have missed it this month.

But you're right! We are all still early on. When did you ovulate? And when is your AF due? I wonder if we'll all be testing around the same time haha.

@Wewin I totally understand what you mean. I'm so bad for it! I symptom spot for hours a day just to get my hopes up. Spending so much on ovulation test and pregnancy test aswell. I wish I could just relax and if it happens then it happens and have the ability to test the day after my missed period.

I literally can't control myself 😂 how long have you been TTC? And if you don't mind me asking when is your AF due?

@Kayleigh0713 yes I'll keep you all updated! Yes you are right the sperm can live for 5 days, so you are in in in!

I promised myself I would reign the symptom spotting in this cycle. Last month, I drove myself mad with symptom spotting as I was so nauseas and everything smelt different so had 100% convinced myself I must be pregnant. But only for a verrry faint line for a couple of days then AF one day late. So this month, I'm trying to not get carried away!

@wewin yeah don't worry to much, still plenty of time. I'm also 7dpo today aswell, I'm feeling as hopeful as you are at this moment in time it's so hard. But I suppose mine is because I know I didn't have sex on the day of ovulation it was a few days before and now I have no symptoms just fuller breast I am really not confident at all. But hey ho the sperm might have waited around for a bit might have still conceived, will have to wait and see.

I'm 7dpo today. At least I think I am as I ditched the OPK's and charting this month. TTC month 6 and not very patient during the tww. I've been having some symptoms but nothing today - all quiet. The other day I had like a stitch cramp across my uterus but far too early for implantation so not sure what it was. CM not loads. Boobs not particularly sore, no vivid dreams, no increased hunger etc So it's not looking too good really! There's still time though I guess as most implantation doesn't happen until 9dpo.

Hey @Lew2016 I have nothing today. Breast still feel slightly enlarged but that is it. I think I'm out this month anyway I don't have a high chance of even getting pregnant which I'm so gutted about. My partner and I had sex on a Thursday I then got a peak on opk test in early hours Sunday morning. I don't think the sperm would have lasted that long and we didn't get chance to try over the couple of days after the peak either due do health reasons so I'm gutted. I have no signs or symptoms now so pretty sure I'm out. Still keep me updated on how you get on though, I hope it's your month. Fingers crossed x

@Lew2016 hey, I'm the same as you. But one minute I think maybe I could be pregnant and other times I think nope I'm defo out. Well I just took a test and pretty sure it's a bfn but it's still early days, so hanging on to every last straw.

You could still be in with a chance some people don't get hardly any symptoms at all until 5 weeks pregnant or more. So stay positive and keep us updated along the way good luck x

@Kayleigh0713 excited for you testing! What day did you ovulate? I'm 7dpo today and test BFN 😢 also my boobs aren't sore and I don't feel half as bloated anymore! I think I'm out this time :(

Thank you @Flossylou that was really useful. I'm 7 dpo tomorrow so going to start testing then I've got quite a few frer and loads of the one step test. I'll let you know how I get on. Boobs have felt like they've been burning inside all day really not sure if that's a sign and had loads of cream cm is that a sign at all? X
