Hello 👋🏻

I'm TTC #2
Cycle 3

Got my smiley face on the clear blue ovu test this morning! Is it worth DTD today, tomorrow and weekend??

Nic555 · 10/10/2019 18:20

@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia yes you got it right. I'm still deciding whether to do it or not. I may try but at same time not worry too much about it.

Our group has got so much bigger. Too many people to tag but looking forward to hopefully seeing a lot of BFP early November.

I'm cycle day 7 not doing OPK yet going to trust my body a bit more may start them in the next few days.

I'm away Saturday out with the girls so going to chill till after then hopefully by relaxing I'll ovulate early again.

Tip for those doing SMEP I used preseed last month and it was really good so may help if you end up having to BD loads before ovulating

I don't check BBT would anyone recommend. Is it just to confirm ovulation? xx

ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia · 10/10/2019 14:52

Sooo ladies do I have SMEP correct?! (Decidedly we may as well give it a go but worried slightly as don’t wanna put DH under pressure as a couple times before he has got anxious about TTC and not been able to ‘perform’ 😔 bless him)

So I’m CD 6 ATM... we DTD every other day, then once I get a positive OPK, DTD 3 days in a row and then leave a day and then once more for good measure?

Hope you’re all good ladies x

ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia · 10/10/2019 14:49

@CouscousEvaporator so yeah it basically takes your temperature every 5 mins and then the temp it gives you in the morning is your average during the night. So as long as you don’t do a 5 mile run after letting the cat out is should be all good 😂

@MrsLEB is cool we are in the same situation (even if it is a bit of a shit one haha). We WILL get our BFP on the 5th!!!

@MrsLEB @Maisy24 hope your gearing up for the BD fest... god none of us are gonna know what’s hit us 😂

@Nic555 definitely agree! It’s so nice not having a wait for ages to be in with another change of conceiving because that alone really got to me! Here’s to another normal length cycle for us this time huh!

Skygirl1983 · 10/10/2019 14:18

Hi all,
Can I tag along please? CD10 for me today. Going to dtd this weekend. I'm on a business trip from Monday to Wednesday next week so hoping the swimmers stick around! Going to try OPK for the first time over the weekend too to see if its likely to be any good!! Sending you all baby dust x

MrsLEB · 10/10/2019 12:43

How's everyone doing? We decided to postpone DTD until Friday as (generally) I have longer cycles. Friday will be CD8 however I am using opks every evening so as not to miss anything! Feeling positive and more relaxed this month in terms of what will be will be and trusting my body to know when it's right.

omikron · 10/10/2019 10:27

Name change fail

Right, CD 5 for me. First cycle with the Ovusense. I find bbt just a pain in the arse. We'll be doing SMEP this month or as we call it 'The Regime' / 'Gilead'

CouscousEvaporator · 10/10/2019 09:58

CD7 for me!
Enjoy, everyone 🤞🏻

GoAwayAF · 09/10/2019 22:16

Cycle day 6 for me today and SMEP has officially begun 🤞🏻 Good luck everyone x
Baby dust!!

ceebee21 · 09/10/2019 21:12

Going to join as will likely test end of October or beginning of November. Had a MMC and ERPC last Tuesday....We want to start trying straight away...fingers crossed for OV next week xx

Hayley94 · 09/10/2019 17:34

I'm on cycle 1 after waiting 6 weeks for my first period. Next period due on the 1st November x

Nic555 · 09/10/2019 17:11

@chlosavxox welcome to our little group. Although im sorry you had to join from the October thread. Hopefully this is your month and your cycle is more settled xx

Chlosavxox · 09/10/2019 16:39

Joining this thread now as I’ve just started my period so no luck this month 😔
I’m TTC baby number 1 after my miscarriage in July - after my period this will be my 2nd month of trying (got pregnant first month last time so I’m very disheartened)
I’m 20 years old, I have a 35(ish) day cycle so will be testing around 13th+ Nov so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Nic555 · 09/10/2019 07:41

@Maisy24 definitely not just you. I took it as a good sign. I had my positive OPK on the Sunday and it happened Monday mainly in the morning. So I took it as ovulating on the Monday x

Maisy24 · 08/10/2019 22:19

@Nic555 thanks I'm glad it's not just me, I hope it isn't a bad sign. So did you get it a few days after a positive? I got a very near positive ovulation on cd13 (I think I missed the full surge) and then had that today on cd 15 is this similar timing to yours then?

Nic555 · 08/10/2019 22:08

@Maisy24 I had that last month. I've never noticed it like that
before so took it as a sign my cycle was back to normal. I had to go the the toilet in work every 20 minutes as felt it was dripping out of me 🙈 we didn't DTD that day as had already done two days in a row when I had my flashing and static smily. If it happens this month definitely DTD. I speak to a couple of my friends about TTC but not told them that bit 😂 xx

Maisy24 · 08/10/2019 21:53

@Nic555 loving our little group too, I've got everything crossed for us all. Aww congratulations on the wedding!

The weirdest thing happened today, hoping one of you might be able to help, so I don't normally get much EWCM at all. Anyway I went toilet today at dinner and omg I've never seen so much of it!! Absolutely loads of the stuff, and I mean loads! Sorry for TMI I know but has this ever happened to anyone else? Does this mean anything? We made sure we dtd tonight, but worried somethings been knocked out of sync with all the vitamins I'm taking.

@Gr1ff so sorry for your loss, but hopefully it happens again quickly for you

Nic555 · 08/10/2019 19:10

@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia welcome to the group. So pleased that your cycle is shorter. I had my first short cycle last month and its so much better. Feels like you're in with more of a chance.

@Gr1ff welcome to the group. Sorry to hear about your MC fingers crossed that it happens again for you quickly.

@mrsleb @Maisy24 haha about the sex drives 😂 I'm trying to hold DH off for a couple of days as I want to do SMEP this month and don't want to wear myself out too early. We have only been married 4 months so kind of still in the honeymoon stage which helps a little bit not enough for every other day 😂

Loving our little group excited for November and us hopefully having some BFP takes the pressure off me knowing we are all in it together Xx

Maisy24 · 08/10/2019 18:01

@MrsLEB
@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia totally agree on the sex drive! I've been with dh nearly 10 years and every other day is a struggle when we've been at work all day. I can't imagine the people that do every day of the month! I'd be hospitalised now I think with exhaustion. Makes me wonder how we did it so much in the first few years! 🤣

I also have never been one to initiate things , it's always been DH starting things, so it's very weird for me that I now have to initiate, I feel bad sometimes thinking my DH thinks I'm after one thing (which technically I am)🤣

MrsLEB · 08/10/2019 16:42

Hey @ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia we are quite similar. I'm 28 and we've been ttc since January too. My BFP is also due on 5 November. We are doing SMEP going to start from tomorrow as my cycles are quite irregular! FC for us both 🤞🏼

Also meant to say... we have been together 9 years and our sex drives have gone down too 😂 so this has been a change for us dtd so much

MrsLEB · 08/10/2019 16:41

Gr1ff · 08/10/2019 13:10

Can I jump in and join you ladies? It's the first time I've joined one of these threads and could use some positive vibes.

TTC #1
Age 30
Cycle - technically only #2 as I fell pregnant on #1 but had a miscarriage at 6 weeks
Due - should be around the 5th November but who knows what's actually going on with my body atm?! Confused

I haven't tried using OPK or anything yet as I'm (naively) hoping my 28 day cycle is now back and it will happen as quickly as the first time!

CouscousEvaporator · 08/10/2019 11:24

I’ve banned myself from new threads too! I’m glad I’m not the only one.

My predicted ovulation dates are 7 days apart on my two apps so I am just going to wing it this cycle. OH is super chilled so I’m best not to scare him on cycle 1 😆

@ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia I am very interested in ovusense. I find that when I know I’ve got to take my temp I always wake up regularly in the night, probably making it all invalid anyway! I’m guessing ovusense averages it all out through the night? Or disregards when you get up to let the cat out 😆

ItsAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia · 08/10/2019 08:51

Heyyy I’ll jump on :)
TTC #1
Age 27
Cycle 7 (TTC since Jan)
Due / BFP around 5 November

Determined this cycle! 2nd using OvuSense which I like as I never got on with BBT temping and though I feel it was a couple of days out, it was nice to see my temp graph throughout the cycle.

Last cycle was 31 days which is freaking awesome as since coming off the pill in Jan they have varied from 42-52 days!

Have got some Proceive Max to try as have been taking Pregnacare since January with no results.

Gonna try and have sex every other day from now (don’t know if that’s SMEP) but I was concerned we aren’t DTD that much (after 10 years sex drives go down can’t just be us haha).

Baby dust to all. We’ve got this girls ❤️
